🦁 When you had decided to tell Leona about your sister and everything that you were planning, he was extremely upset at first. But, after a while, he grew to understand, making you swear to at least find a secondary option

(Messy) Design notes:

Give me strength to complete this project with every character. Just Jamil's took me days because I kept getting stuck with that first scraped design ⚰️ of course I had to start with him since AHEM AHEM I hate him sm (lying)

The only thing I forgor to add in the pic above is that the reason I made his hair half green/blue/(?) Is bcs I wanted something to contrast with the red clothes. For the first half of the process I thought his color pallette was too boring in general, so I slapped a gradient over his Rapunzel hair and called it a day tbh 💪

I'm still not 100% sure if I nailed it the way I originally wanted to, buy hey, It's a start. Can't let my perfectionism hold be back and keep me from sharing my art til the end of times. So here it is. First entry. I'm posting this at 22:20 right after I got home from class so I hope my exhaustion didn't sneak in some typos in the post 😫😫 oh and by the way the snake names were all ideas I asked for on my instagram stories. I absolutely love Steve. The person who sent the idea said that it was Kalim who named it that way and I can totally see it happening

But in a final note, I wanted a cooler layout for me to post the series, so I took the name Ghostly Gossip from Spectra's original name for her blog before it became The Gory Gazette, I believe? I'm having fun with this idea that everyone would be introduced by a in-universe blog post just like the original monster high website used to do. Pairing: Kalim Al-Asim x F!Reader Category: Fluff Tags: Tooth-Rotting Fluff, Gift-Giving, Slight Slapstick Word Count: 516 Summary: Your boyfriend makes you a sweet gift. However, he didn't expect what would happen when you suddenly opened your door… A/N: Kalim is such a sweetheart, so I thought I’d write a little drabble about him! I hope you enjoy!

Winter break was in full swing, and your boyfriend wanted to do something special for you now that he’s back in Scalding Sands. It’s taken weeks of preparation and cooking lessons from Jamil, but Kalim feels like he’s finally created the perfect batch of baklava for his beloved sweetheart. He tightly held the decorated box in his hands as he and his friend traveled down the bustling streets of his hometown.

“Hey, relax. You look like you’re about to crush that thing,” Jamil chuckled. Kalim sighed as he loosened his grip on the box.

“I’m trying, but…what if she doesn’t like it? What if it’s too sweet or flaky or-“ he paused when Jamil laid a hand on his shoulder. His friend gave him a reassuring smile.

“Listen, you spent a lot of time making that gift for (Y/N). I’m sure she’ll appreciate it no matter what,” Jamil said. Kalim gave a small grin before they approached your home. He swallowed thickly.

“I’ll be around the corner,” his friend and bodyguard said with a firm nod. Kalim nodded as he mentally prepared himself to knock on your door. He sucked in a sharp breath before the door suddenly swung wide open, causing him to shriek.

"Kalim! I-" his jaw dropped as the box flew out of his hands, the lid slipping to the ground as the baklava landed right on your face. His eyes grew to the size of dinner plates as he watched the baklava splatter all over the front of your body, the honey-decorated pastry clinging to your face and clothes like glue. A small, strangled noise left his throat as he froze in place.

"O-Oh my gods! I'm so so so sorry," he frantically peeled the box off of you, his heart clenching when he saw the flaky dough and thick filling douse your skin and clothes. Kalim blinked when you suddenly began to giggle, your bubbly laughter making his heart skip a beat.

"You...you're not mad?" he said breathlessly. You chuckled and shook your head as you scooped some of the smooshed pastry. His eyes grew impossibly wider as you tasted the treat, a bright smile decorating your sweet face.

"Oh wow, this is amazing!" you squealed as your eyes lit up. "Did you make this?" you asked while taking his hands into your own. Kalim's cheeks filled with heat as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I-yeah, I did," he said with a sheepish chuckle. You giggled and leaned over to give him a kiss on his cheek, only to pause and lean back.

"I guess I should probably get cleaned up," you laughed. Kalim gave you a soft smile as you tugged him closer inside your cozy home.

"C'mon, you can have some warm tea while I get freshened up," you beamed and squeezed his hands. Your boyfriend's cheeks dusted with a darker shade of pink as he turned back to see Jamil giving him a thumbs up. He turned back to you and nodded with a chuckle.

"After you, my dear," he smiled warmly.

characters: riddle, leona, azul, kalim, vil, idia, malleus notes: gn! reader, interpreted this as more of a “what they're jealous of in you,” reader is the s/o to the housewarden in each scenario

riddle rosehearts

riddle is jealous of your spontaneity and go-with-the-flow personality. another effect of his mother, riddle can’t just do things most of the time, he has to plan them. the unbirthday parties, for example, need to be planned to a t: start painting the roses before first period (get at least half of them done, finish after first period during the ten minute break), set the tables by noon, and serve tea at exactly two o’clock in the afternoon. in stark contrast, you can just throw something together at the last minute. riddle nearly had a heart attack the first time he let you plan an unbirthday party by yourself, especially when you told him that you were just going to “see where things took you.” but it wound up being a lot of fun and the recipient — cater — absolutely had a blast. while riddle doesn’t exactly want your spontaneous mentality, he is certainly jealous of the freedom that comes with it but is simultaneously glad that you’re not burdened with a need for an often rigid structure.

he won’t admit that he envies your optimism. he’d actually rather die than say that out loud but it’s true. because he has a generally cynical outlook on life, he finds it hard to put a positive spin on things. you, on the other hand, are pretty good at it, and it makes him feel a little better when you give him your more optimistic take of whatever topic is at hand. your optimism isn’t blind optimism either, but it definitely is lighter than leona’s doom and gloom outlook and less grating the farena’s optimism. he can’t say that he wants that outlook on life for himself, but he likes it in you since it gives you a certain innocence and freedom that leona can’t seem to find for himself. it also makes him feel like everything isn’t so grim and bad all the time, and actually gives him hope for some aspects of life.

azul ashengrotto

azul envies your confidence, especially since it’s not unfounded by any means. you’re good at most things and if you’re not, you still approach whatever it is with everything that you have. as someone who’s always been bullied and put down — something that only really stopped when he developed his unique magic — he has a hard time being confident without magic. you go into everything with an air about you, like you know it’ll all work out in the end for you. if he’s being honest, azul wanted to steal your confidence somehow before you started dating, but he realizes now that that would defeat the whole purpose of why he wants to take it: to be naturally confident. he admires the self-assuredness you have in yourself, and he can only hope that one day, he can reach the same level of confidence that you have for yourself and for him

kalim isn’t jealous of this per se but he wishes he had your perception and ability to read people. he’s always been pretty oblivious, perhaps a side effect of growing up so privileged and, frankly, sheltered, and he’s been shown time and time again that he has a hard time actually understanding what people are feeling beyond the surface level. you’re good at knowing when something’s off, when people aren’t saying what they really feel and, more importantly, you’re pretty good at solving the problem or helping someone rectify it. kalim loves and admires your perceptiveness and hopes that he can, one day, read people and help people like you do.

like leona, he’ll never admit it but vil is jealous of your ability to let things go. a perfectionist, seemingly for all his life, vil is always fussing about something. the wing on his eyeliner isn’t sharp enough, he’s looking a little too far left in a photo from his most recent shoot, the essay he turned into crewel has one word that could have been swapped for a more appropriate one. you, on the other hand, have an innate ability to just let things roll off your back. if you see a typo or two in a paper you turned in, you just shrug and say that you’ll look it over more next time while that kind of mistake rattles around in vil’s head for the rest of the day (or next few days, depending on how egregious the offense is). vil knows that you letting things go isn’t a mark of laziness but of understanding the process of growing and learning and changing, which is why he envies and admires that in you so much.

idia shroud

idia is jealous of your confrontation skills. as someone who is pretty shy and withdrawn, idia cracks under confrontation, especially when it’s face-to-face. he swears he’s usually the verge of passing out when it happens, but when he sees you in an argument with someone, he’s jealous of the way you step toe-to-toe with them. you keep a level-head and throw out whatever attack is necessary — logical thoughts or barbed insults or just words that try to deescalate the situation. you rarely flinch and you never, ever run from it, preferring to face it head on. idia wishes he could do that too, it would solve a lot of problems. while he’s envious of your ability, he also loves it since now he has a significant other and a protector.

malleus draconia

malleus is jealous of your ability to make friends so fast — you can be thrown into any social situation and come out with at least one new acquaintance. you’re always the first person people want at parties and gatherings, and malleus can’t help but frown enviously when he hears you got another invitation. being so feared and intimidating gets tiresome, especially when people purposefully “forget” to invite you because of that, so while you being a social butterfly is one thing that malleus loves about you, he can’t help but feel jealous of that aspect of you either.

Kalim was at a complete loss, he just wasn’t sure what to do. 

He knew, he knew that what they did to you was unforgivable. If you weren’t so busy with the others and took more notice of him, you would have seen the huge tears rolling down the cheeks as he sobbed. They hurt you, he didn’t help you–– Although you were softer on him since he never once ever made the effort to harm you. Even so, Kalim still felt partially responsible for the whole thing. If he had just noticed, just recognized your wonderful beautiful amazing presence, things would have been so much different! 

The Scarabia dorm leader always attempts to make up for his mistakes. Every waking second he’s trying to find the best ways to appeal to you, to be back in your good graces again. Every day means at least ten new gifts, and Kalim spares no expense. Ah, player, there you are! He missed you so much (you saw him yesterday)! He noticed you staring at his armband, so he bought you one to match and it’s pure gold! Yesterday you said you had no breakfast plans, so he had an entire feast catered to your liking this morning so eat up! Oh, and sometime ago you said his eyes reminded you of red gems, so he wants to give you this huge ruby! What’s wrong?? Is that not enough? Don’t worry, he can give you more! 

No matter what he did, nothing ever seemed to work. No matter how hard he tried, nothing seemed to sway you, you remained constantly on edge and cautious around them, around him. First he tried with the lavish gifts but after only a few days you began to insist that you didn’t need them. Then he tried with physical affection, eagerly offering hugs and dances, but to no avail. Followed by acts of service like offering to listen to you or help with classes (even if he wasn’t good at them), eventually he used true compliments that praised your very being and every quality as he admitted how precious you were to him. Even that didn’t seem to work, as you only ever mustered a small smile at him very rarely. Was he doing something wrong or... were you still mad at him? That had to be it...! You were still mad at him for everything before–– 

He didn’t know how else to make up for mistakes, except to grovel and apologize once again this time when he had your full attention. What a sight to see: the heir of one of the most powerful families in all of Twisted Wonderland, crying and falling to his knees before you as he begged for forgiveness. Kalim clutched anything he could grab on you, whether it be your limbs or part of your clothing, and he held on for dear life as he wept so loudly and pleaded desperately,

💮 You walked down the steps and allowed Yuu to walk off with Grim, knowing they were probably going to get into trouble. Looking upwards from behind your veil, your long wisteria-decorated dress dragging against the ground lightly while your earrings, necklace, and mask dawned your as tiny additions

💮 (C/N)'s face flushed as you walked up to him, holding your hand out to his own. He chuckled lightly and took your own, pulling you up onto the small stage, making you smile contently and kept a grip on his hand as you listened to the Officiant speak

💮 You loved the man standing across you so much. He was the missing piece you needed after the final battle back at home that sent you into a deeper depression that you would like to admit. He was always there for you when you needed him to be, and that was something you always wanted and needed when Shinobu and Kanae passed away

"(C/N), your vows." The Officiant voiced.

💮 You felt him push the ring onto your left ring finger, it was gentle and loving. Doing the same to him and locking both of your hands with his own, the Officiant blinked and looked down, his eyes closed as he finalized the ceremony with ease

» Jamil is far too used to people refusing to see things from his point of view. He’s constantly being told that he must understand, that surely he’s smart enough to see what has to happen. But he doesn’t understand. He doesn’t see why things have to be so unfair. He’s treated as lesser than solely because of the circumstances of his birth. From day one, his life was dictated for him— what he could and couldn’t do was heavily regulated. He couldn’t even get praise for his achievements because they were automatically seen as “challenges” to the Asims. So, for as long as he can remember, he hasn’t done much for himself.

» He spends an incredible amount of time taking care of others. Whether that be Kalim, or his other dormmates, he seldom gets time for himself anymore. There’s just far too many expectations he has to uphold. Not to mention that no one out there really tries to understand him. Who checks on the person who’s always there for everyone else? Who’s there for the person that seems like he has his entire life in check?

» Jamil deals with most of his problems and stresses on his own. He struggles to take care of himself solely because he just doesn’t have time. And no one really offers to help him. That’s how life has always been for him, and so he’s come to expect that that’s how it’ll always be. So when you come along and change that up for him, it definitely throws him off at first.

» At first, he’s waiting for the bomb to drop. For you to ask something of him, or for there to be some condition in the way you act. After all, most of the time when people help him, it’s because they want something. But that day never comes and it shocks him. Are you dense? Do you not realize what you’re doing? Why would you willingly help him out with menial chores and tasks when you could do anything else with your time?

» “Do I need a reason? Okay, well. Then it’s because I like spending time with you. And I care about you. So I notice when something’s stressing you out, and I wanna help. Is that so hard to understand?” That’s what you tell him. He can’t help but get flustered and hide his face in response.

» You were worried about him. Not Kalim, not anyone else. Just him. It made his heart warm in a way that he didn’t quite understand at first, but he was quick to recognize it as endearment and affection. Naturally, as time went on, he sought out you and your company more and more. Not like he had to, though. You always seemed to be there the second he needed you. He never had to ask for you to be there. You just seemed to know and he couldn’t express just how much he appreciated that.

» With time, you both start dating. Jamil thinks that now that you’ve gotten to this point, maybe you’ll expect him to do things for you now. He expects more stress— but once again you blow him away. You insist that such things are nonsense and you help him even more. Not only do you help with his chores around Scarabia, but you plan ways for him to relax when he’s able. You’re independent, understanding, and incredibly loving.

» After particularly rough days, you’re there, making him meals so he doesn’t have to worry. Hell, he even trusts you enough to allow you to help cook for Kalim on occasion. But it’s because your intentions have always been pure. You’ve never had some ulterior motive. Your only intention has been to understand, be there for, and love Jamil. In all of the acts of service you show, that becomes clear to him.

» However, this becomes especially important after his overblot.

» Jamil fully expects to lose you. He expects you to yell at him for hurting Kalim, for keeping so much pain deep down, for hurling your friends across the desert and nearly killing them. He expects to lose the one person who actually understood all of his stress. That’s what he expected karma to give him in return for his actions. The loss of the person he loved most in the world.

» Instead, when he’s alone in the infirmary, bracing himself for your anger when you arrive, what he gets instead is you walking in, a plate of his favorite food in hand. You place it in front of him and sit beside him, pulling him into your side and kissing his cheek gently.

» “Talk to me. Let it out. I’m here.”

» And that’s enough for him to absolutely break. For the first time in his entire life, he cries. He mourns his circumstances, the unfair nature of his life. He lets out years upon years of trauma and you sit through it all, rubbing his back, wiping his tears away, making sure he’s taken care of. You don’t complain, nor do you show any anger or pity. You just sit and seek to understand why he overblotted. Then, once he opens up to you, you take care of him.

» While he’s bed bound, you cook for him, help brush and braid his hair, spend time with him, help him take his medicine— you show him that no matter what happens, you’ll always be by his side. Even in the face of so many comments against Jamil, whispers of “snake” or “monster,” you stay. Because you understand.

» You’ll always be the one to understand him and help him when he feels like it’s him against the world. And he’s forever grateful. Because whenever he’s with you,

» Jamil doesn’t feel like a servant. He doesn’t feel like he’s trapped. He just feels like a normal student who got lucky enough to have the most understanding, considerate partner in the world.

» And he knows that nothing he struggles with could ever push you away from him.

[ p h y s i c a l a f f e c t i o n + q u a l i t y t i m e ]

» Kalim is a bit of an interesting case. As an heir, he’s constantly showered in gifts, praise, and has people willing to help him out where possible. It may seem like with someone so sunny, there isn’t any possible way that he’s lacking in love. After all, he’s the beloved first born son, isn’t he?

» While that’s true, it’s not as bright as people make it out to be. The smile he wears are for the sake of others. He does it so his friends don’t worry, so his family doesn’t worry. He doesn’t want people to see him struggle because of that stigma that he has everything and has nothing to be upset about. Acting in a way that matches everyone else’s perceptions is exhausting, though. He never feels like he has a right to complain when so many others have it harder. But what he needs are the things that people overlook— the things that money cannot buy.

» Growing up in a wealthy family meant that his parents never really had time to spend with him. They were always busy with diplomatic relations, economics and various other things that Kalim didn’t quite understand. Sure, he’s happy, smiley, touchy, but sometimes he just wishes that he didn’t have to be the one to initiate everything.

» He wanted to be worth enough for someone to choose to be affectionate with him. He wanted people to spend time with him not for his status, but because they liked Kalim. Not the Asim heir.

» He desperately wanted to be more than the title and money attached to his name. But he couldn’t tell people that. He had to act happy for everyone’s sake— he couldn’t let people see him struggle because he has everything.

» Though, he should’ve figured that someone would see right through that farce. When he meets you, you immediately notice that lingering sadness behind his eyes— you notice something more there. It isn’t difficult for you to put two and two together and realize that Kalim’s existence is a lonely one. Sheltered, showered in money, but nothing tangible. Nothing meaningful.

» So you go out of your way to spend time with him. Between classes, you walk with him to ask him about his day. You choose to be his lab partner when you can be. You visit him in his club— you strive to know who he truly is beneath that sunshine persona. Kalim can’t help but become attached to you and your presence. It was the first time that someone asked him to spend time together. For once, he wasn’t leading everyone around, dragging people to have fun with him to fill that lonely void in his heart.

» You came in and simply made time for him. You saw him as worth the time, the extra effort that he put forth towards so many others with no return. Whether it be a small get together at his dorm, or sneaking out and walking around campus late at night, it was enough for him. With you, he didn’t have to go all out. He didn’t have to be bright and entertaining in hopes of keeping you around. You stayed because you wanted to. You didn’t need anything in return.

» Soon enough, your relationship develops into something more. Hangouts become dates, and late night walks turn into spending the night in his dorm and waking up by his side. That’s when you realize how touch starved he is. He clings to others, but never gets that in return. He wants so desperately to feel that physical show of love— to prove to the world that someone— anyone— loves him for more than just a title.

» When you first wake up beside him as his lover, gently caressing his face with a smile, he nearly cries, leaning into your touch and nuzzling closer to you. You wrap your arms around him tightly, soundly reminding him that you love him. That you love the Kalim that smiles at you every day, the one that struggles, the one that tries so hard to make others happy to keep them from feeling the way he does. You love him for who he is.

» All of it hits Kalim harder than he would’ve expected. In the wake of Jamil’s overblot, he never truly admitted how much it all hurt. It hurt for the one friend he thought he had to snap at him and destroy what he saw as his reality. The one person he thought actually enjoyed his company didn’t, so having you there to comfort him, hug him, and kiss him is a much needed reminder. That no matter what happens to him, no matter how much he’s hurting, he’ll never be a bother to you. He’ll always be worth your time, your affection, your love.

» Nightly, after the incident during winter break, Kalim is in your arms, spending time with you, trying his best to cope and heal with your assistance. You run gentle fingers through his hair, insisting that it’s okay to be upset, conflicted. He doesn’t have to go back to being happy right away. He doesn’t have to pretend that things are okay. He appreciates your presence in such dire times. Having your warmth and presence, having you there to just distract him by spending time with him is a sort of saving grace. He feels like he can just be whatever he desires in your company. Kalim never needs to worry about you running off because he’s not meeting perceived expectations. You simply smile, intertwine his fingers with yours, and ask him if he’d rather distract himself with a walk or movie, or if sitting in silence is okay.

» And no matter what he picks, Kalim knows that yes, it will be okay. He will be okay. Because he has you. And you love him for who he is. You chose him over everyone else because you fell in love with his personality. Not his money. Not his status.

» You fell in love with Kalim. And he loves you more than anything else in the world.

So when he felt himself falling in love what was Riddle to do but continue to bask in the kindness offered to him

Riddle kinda goes crazy with it though

Always there nearby you, breathing down your neck, making sure you follow all the Queen's Rules, no excuses

So you need to have an adjustment made to your attitude before he can declare his feelings

Even if you didn't return his romantic feelings, Kalim would still do small things to make you smile

He sees you as someone to be admired and adored

And since you often take care of others and do so quite thoroughly, Kalim thinks you deserve the same level of attention paid to you

Straight away Vil's first impression of you would be extremely sour

You act so very much like Neige that Vil can't get the comparison out of his mind at all. And eventually Vil would become unable to stop thinking about you

Which only makes his attitude towards you even more cold and harsh

Vil's mind is plagued constantly by thoughts of you and that strange bubble of near resentment in his chest would expand.

Its only when after expressing his frustrations about you to Rook, that the idea of him falling in love with you crosses Vil's mind

Sharply denying the claim to Rook's face at first, Vil would come downstairs the next day and softly admit to Rook that he may be correct.

Vil is a lot of things but emotionally immature is not one of them. So after some deliberation Vil sets a plan in motion; he quite plainly does his best to avoid you.

Vil understands that for both his and your mental and physical well being, Vil can not come into close contact with you until his feelings towards you fade completely. Both his love for and resentment of, you.

Malleus knows how different the positions you are both in are from one another, so he allows himself to love you until he graduates. Then he breaks things off with you.

no tws, gn!reader, established relationship, time set a bit after the original plot.

“huh?!” you yelled on the phone as your parent tried to reason with you. your boyfriend, who also knew the gist of the conversation after you put it on speaker, tried to calm you down. “i’m not marrying someone i don’t know because of your dumb promise! tell your friend to find a different partner for their kid i’ve never met! i’m already taken.” you yelled, ready to throw the phone.

Kalim was definitely unhappy to hear your parent trying to tell you to at least meet up once, and how they’d planned your marriage since young. your parent was insisting on getting the two of you engaged after their friend returned from overseas traveling, and that you would make a great couple. you weren’t even given an opportunity to say who you were dating, nor that you were happy. your parent simply insisted that you had to meet them, they had engagement rings and all.

“no! and that’s final. ask me one more time and i’m never returning!” you yelled, hanging up and throwing your phone across the room, hearing it crack against the window. you could not listen to anyone who supported that idea right now. that may of been cute when you were a child but you’re not two. you had someone you loved.

your boyfriend looked awkwardly between you and the phone before quickly throwing his arms around you. “you aren’t going to leave me, right?” he asked as he finally broke down into tears. you two had been dating for over a year but your family always blew it off when you brought him up. he’d figured he did something wrong, as he once tried to say hello on the phone but your parent cut him off and said their goodbye. frustrated, you sigh and decide not to let them eat at you. “no, Kalim.” you embraced him back, running your fingers threw his hair.

“they’re being crazy thinking that making us engaged will convince me to meet with them. you’re the only one i love.” you said, cuddling into him as you both tried to think over the explosive conversation. they were being ridiculous, but it’s not like you could actually avoid them forever, you’d thought. but the second you return, you’d know as long as there was no ring on your finger, they would pressure you until you obliged regardless of you and Kalim being together.

you sat in silence as Kalim said he would do anything to help you. you really couldn’t help but smile at how amazing of a lover he was, and how understanding he could be. he didn’t blame you nor get mad at you, but rather chose to worry for you. “there’s not much we can do at the moment, other than hope they stop.”

he didn’t really like this answer, choosing to spend the night with you in case anything happened or you needed him. the next day, he told you he’d be back as soon as he figured something out, making you raise your brow. he gave you a kiss and ran to find Jamil, his hope. “Jamil!” he yelled, almost jumping on the poor boy as he groaned, not ready to deal with Kalim that early in the morning.

“wh,” Jamil tried to speak but Kalim had begun to ask for help. “what do i do?” he explained the situation regarding your parent, the planned engagement, and how they probably hated him. Jamil couldn’t deny he felt smug knowing not everyone liked him, but you were the only one who kept him away for a long period of time. “if they won’t give in, why not get married?”

although he pointed out the obvious, the lightbulb went off in Kalim’s head. the two of you were young, but you were the one he wanted to spend his life with. he was sure you’d also agree, even if this was a little rushed. he would do his best to give you whatever you wanted, and stop your family from pressuring you if they weren’t going to listen. “i’m going to ask my father for his blessing!” Kalim yelled and ran off, presumably to make a phone call. Jamil wanted to facepalm as he didn’t even ask you yet, but decided to just let things play out.

after a few days, you were worried if Kalim left you but decided to trust in him. a few hours after reading to distract yourself, you hear the door burst open so hard you would assume the hinges went flying. out of breath, Kalim was dressed in the finest attire he had, his magic carpet beside him. “please,” he wheezed, out of breath. “please, take a carpet ride with me.” you were obviously confused and concerned, but he took your hand and led you out, helping you onto the carpet. the two of you flew in the sky for a few minutes until you heard fireworks in a distance, all in your favorite color. finally, one by one they popped, will you marry me?” your eyes widened as he took your hand, staring at you as he opened a small box from his pocket.

“before it’s too late, can we get married?” he asked. you freeze and your mouth goes agape, hand over your mouth. you knew Kalim took things extreme but you didn’t expect this outcome. the longer you took, the more you saw doubt creep onto his face before you wrap your arms around his neck, giving him a kiss and extending your hand out. “Kalim…” you muttered as happy tears strolled down your face. your parent wouldn’t stop until you had a ring on your finger, and he decided to do exactly that, you were truly lucky to have a partner that would go that far for you.

slipping a ring on your finger, he kissed you again. “my parents have given us their blessing, so even if your’s don’t, they would be happy to be your parents!” he said cheerfully, your face fully flustered and tear struck due to the kindness of your soon to be husband. you couldn’t believe how your parent’s pressure ended up giving you the best future you could imagine.
