With a small huff, it all falls back to normal, the trip comes back to what they consider normal, eating some breakfast before playing frisbee all together. It turns into a competetive game, everyone including Bruce, trying to catch the frisbee and make the other drop or not even catch it in the first place. It‘s a bit chaotic, but it‘s never not chaotic with them. Not that you complain, you really like their dynamic overall and that they are all so sweet to you, although they do tease Damian a lot whenever he is affection with you.

A bright orange, plastic hits your side, yelping at the sudden collition. Of course someone had to accidently hit you with the frisbee. Steph and Duje would run Batman distraction. (Bruce actually has a support network and two kids younger than Jason who are grieving. He’d need to be a parent and help them with their grief. -When Steph starts college she occasionally visits the manor, liberally fills her bag with spare socks, new towels and non-perishables. Alfred doesn’t mind. - Barbara probably has a crush on Steph and Tim. Like not a serious, I want a romantic relationship crush. Now that you've watched s2, I'm very curious to hear your opinion about it as an honourable IB shipper

My feelings are very mixed, while their flashbacks were pretty cute, the "confession" scene felt TERRIBLE to me. Why would these two old bureaucrats sing a cheesy song at each other in front of their respective courts 😭 Why were they speaking like 13 year olds. The ending just ruined the relationship becoming canon :(

Really long answer incoming lol.

Okay so. Essentially, yes. It was jarring/cringe because it was so VASTLY different than the vibe of their relationship that I had built in my head the last four years. I've always thought of them quite a bit more mature, sometimes combative, and really fucking kinky. But I wouldn't say it ruined it for me, and I'll explain why.

Initially it seemed SO out of character, the lovey-dovey, almost childlike affection they had for each other. But it's exciting for me to consider what if this WAS in their characters all along, they were just never given the opportunity/felt safe enough to let that side of their personalities be seen. Which is HEARTBREAKING but there's some subtle evidence to back this up.

We all know Bee is an angry, annoyed, high ranking demon with a lot on their plate. Even Crowley said "because they're always such a ray of sunshine" to Shax because it seems common knowledge to all of Hell that Bee is, well... an angry little shit. But they ARE a ray of sunshine when they're with Gabe, away from hell, away from their daily stresses, away from the expectations of running Hell. LOOK AT THEM.

We saw a hint of this in S1, when they showed a moment of vulnerability. When? In front of Gabe, at the airbase. They can't show weakness in Hell because they can't weaken their position as Prince (Grand Duke?), but Gabriel is the only other being in the entire cosmos they feel is an equal, and they can therefore let their guard down like they did at the airbase, and like they do a little bit more at every meeting with Gabe following Armageddon. Until they were actually showing the real Bee- who is a little unsure, kind of quiet, and a worrier. I always headcanoned that Bee absolutely WAS soft, underneath all their posturing, but only ever in private and only ever with Gabe. AND THEN I WAS GIVEN THAT HOLY SHIT.

Okay now on to Gabe. I always headcanoned that after Armageddon, he fucking broke. He snapped. He was SO TIRED of working toward goals, leading the host of Heaven toward said goals, and then the biggest one of all ended up a failure and essentially it fell on his shoulders. And that's basically what did happen in canon! It started, just like it did for Bee, at the airbase, when it was all falling apart, he turned to the only being he could that would understand his frustration.

He was always the hard-ass boss, albeit an idiot and a dick, but the memory wipe proved there was a sweetheart in there somewhere. Before the season aired, I assumed the memory wipe was what would show Gabe the error of his ways, and he would learn to be gentle and generous and loving through that trial. But it turns out HE ALREADY LEARNED IT BY THE TIME OF THE MEMORY WIPE.

Heaven seems so cold and lonely, and my god the scene where he says no one had ever given him anything. My heart ached for him. Heaven didn't even give him a desk. MURIEL, a 37th order, was given a desk but he wasn't. Away from the cold sterility of Heaven and his obligations, he heard Bee say they liked something, and he realized how happy their enjoyment made him. So he decided he liked it too. He never got to enjoy things (other than clothes), or his time around others, and Bee provided him that escape, simply by saying "I like this song." And then he miracled the song to play because he wanted to make someone, other than himself, happy. And he was ready to swan dive into Hell, give up the clothes he loved, because he knew he'd be okay, he and Bee would be okay if they were together.

Yes, their relationship is way different than I pictured it would be. But I'm framing it instead of being ooc, maybe we weren't seeing the real Gabe and Bee in S1. We were just seeing them as the result of their respective situations.

And the confession, to me, was used as a juxtaposition for the husbands confession, which uh. Did not go nearly as well.

So yeah, the singing to each other and their soft, innocent affection was cringe. But Bureaucracy has always been cringe, Bee is a gremlin and Gabe is an idiot. I'm looking forward to exploring their new dynamic in fic, and maybe filling some of the gaps that took them from where they were to where they are now.

UM CAN I MENTION HOW HARD I LAUGHED WHEN SILVER WAS TELLING THE STORY ABOUT FLOYD GRABBING RIDDLE'S HAIR TO SEE IF IT WAS HOT?!

AND JADE HYSTERICALLY LAUGHING WHILE AZUL IGNORES THEM!!!!

If they ever animate that scene, I'm gonna hurl from seeing Floyd just being catapulted off screen and Jade enjoying himself 😂

Floyd being so bored of his dream and just him swaying like the seaweed was freakin hysterical 😂

It just reminded me of this for some reason:

I mean it makes sense since Floyd is always up for a challenge and isn't afraid of basically anything, so of course Malleus's vision for Floyd's dream wasn't going to be very exciting

ALSO WE CAN TALK ABOUT FLOYD HAD THE BALLS TO FIGHT MALLEUS, LEONA AND EVEN FUCKING CATER?! CATER WIPED THE FLOOR FIGHTING FLOYD BUT I WASN'T EXPECTING CATER TO KICK ASS

HELL YES CATER!!

.......And then we jump into Jade's dream...

....The moment I saw how Jade imagined both Azul and Floyd...

AND THEN SOMEONE POSTED THIS ON TWITTER AND I ABSOLUTELY LOST IT

JADE BY FAR IS THE MOST HYSTERICAL CHARACTER IN TWST AND I CAN'T BELIEVE FLOYD HAD TO SEE HIS DOOFY LOOKING FACE LIKE THAT

I don't blame Floyd for duking it out with Jade I would feel the same if thats how my siblings imagined me lol

And finally, Azul's dream!!

First of all, AZUL WAS SOMETHING ELSE DURING HIS DREAMS

Azul being a coral rush player?! AND KINDA BEING JOCKY?! I wasn’t prepared for that! 😂

It was so bizarre to see Azul playing a jocky player and being popular in school, but once Idia explained that any negative moments or lessons Azul had to face (bullying, losing the contracts) were no longer a thought because of it only being a dream with no negative emotions

It’s still mind boggling how detailed everyone’s dreams are but terrifying like damn Malleus has so much power and yet he can juggle so many of them

After Azul invited us to the party and was INCREDIBLY NICE for someone like him, and Idia got suss:

I knew something was up, especially after he made everyone wear the anenomes for the party AND GRIM SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER HE WENT THROUGH THIS BEFORE WHY DID HE BELIEVE THIS

Floyd and Jade bouncing off Azul being a bully was soooo worth it

It's kinda scary how I preferred the old Azul, considering he wasn't a cocky jock straight from a manga/book ICK ICK ICK

AND THEN AFTER AZUL FELL INTO THE BLOT, HE WAS A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO CORNER I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE PLANNING AND HOW WE HELPED DESTROY THE CONTRACTS ONCE AGAIN

But this devastated me 😭

It still must've felt pretty shitty having to go through that again, but I started to cry I'm just so happy Azul woke up from his dream 😭❤️❤️❤️

Azul's battle with himself! *chefs kiss* I love how they reference it similar to the battle from The Little Mermaid and how Azul's blot form began to grow

But let me tell you something:

I WOULD DIE IF I COULD FRAME THIS!! JUST SEEING THE GLOWING EYE AND AZUL DOING THIS POSE! PERFECTION!!!

ITS SO GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK AZUL!!!❤️

This chapter was such a fun trip, and I'm so glad we're slowly getting closer to releasing everyone from their dreams

Just some more random thoughts that my mind is spirling down on-

I hate myself for saying this but I can see Dutch to be the type who watches antique road show 😭

I can definitely see him to be THAT typical dad type who also watches Only fools and horses, Dukes of Hazzards listens dad rock/typical british Dad music. He would also love SKA music, big time into The Specials and Madness.

He's cool because he grew up with Star Wars and Western. He still loves them. He also a big movie guy. He will "tolerate" Musicals and rupaul Drag Queen for hosea as he does deep down loving watching them hosea because it's makes hosea happy but he doesn't like to admit it.

Monday mornings he does have to deal with Hosea watching The Jeremy Kyle Show but he secretly loves it especially when arguments breaks out on the show.

He has his own business because he doesn't want to be a 'pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white color' (fight club reference which he also loves. He really loves the philosophies thats in the book/movie)

living situation-

He lives with Hosea but John and Arthur has moved out and currently living with their own families (Abigail and Mary). The gang basically lives either on the same street or a council estate together but in different houses.

In the mornings he walks around the house in his boxers that has holes in them and a dressing gown that he had for decades with a mug in his hand until he makes an effort to get ready.

Okay this gotten way outta hand than I expected. Just some random shit I just wanna post just incase anyone wanna discuss this kinda random shit with me 😂

!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!

Ok so posting will be a little incosistent cuz I'm studying for finals but let's get to it (Part 1):

Oh damn Meleanor and the Knight of Dawn are still duking it out ic ic. Sebek couldn't bring himself to leave but Yuu and Grim remind him that they can't change the outcome cuz they're in the past, so they all try to find Lilia

OHHH SO APPARENTLY Sebek hasn't fully mastered his UM yet, that's why he didn't want to use it but had no choice cuz they needed to wake Silver up (this part was funny to think about)

That's when Silver starts to wonder about what the hell is going on with Lilia's dream like just why the hell did we have to go through 2 updates worth of trauma when it's supposed to be a happy ending. That's when Sebek brings up the possibility that Malleus can't monitor what happens in Lilia's dream so that's why all of this is happening. But enough of that cuz they still gotta fight some Silver Owls and while doing that one of the guards told them to go ahead cuz they can handle the rest

Now we're with Baul and Lilia where Baul is telling Lilia to go on ahead with Malleus eggo but Lilia didn't want to cuz he's still not normal over what happened which caused Baul to snap at him. After that moment, Lilia decides to go ahead while Baul fights alone but something happens and Baul ends up injured

Our main gang catches up to him tho, with Baul telling them to go after Lilia BUT SEBEK STAYS AND TELLS THE REST TO GO ON AHEAD CUZ HE WANTS TO PROTECT WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO HIM 😭😭😭(im not normal rn guys) and even if him fighting won't change what has already happened, he doesn't wanna give up (lord what if this is my last straw) and this is where Sebek's latest card comes from (specifically the groovy) cuz Baul blessed Sebek with the eternal night armour

Baul hits Sebek with the question as to why he's fighting with the fairies as a human, but Sebek says that he's not only human but fairy as well. Also this is where we find out that Baul and Sebek's dad don't get along (as well as the fact that Sebek's mom was Baul's only kid and he got mad that she married a human) but Baul doesn't close himself off from his grandkids (he may not be verbal about it but his actions says otherwise) and guys i am slowly dying THEN BAUL ACKNOWLEDGES SEBEK AS A ZIGVOLT JUST KILL ME NOW

We then go to the others who went ahead to find Lilia, who is badly injured because the Silver Owls are after Malleus eggo. Lilia tells Silver to bring the egg into the castle in his place but SILVER ISN'T LEAVING HIM BEHIND SO HE CARRIED LILIA ON HIS BACK (I am not surviving this update) while Yuu holds onto the egg

This is a lot to take in already damn but see you guys in the next part!!

It’s the dream Trouble that changes things. Dwight falls asleep in his truck and wakes up covered in blood from a gunshot wound in his chest. They have to put him into a medically induced coma so that he can recover.

After the case is over you spend the night at the hospital, holding his hand. You ignore the surprised expression on the nurse’s face when she sees you, fingers entwined with his. You know by tomorrow morning it’ll be all over town and you don’t care because all that shit that’s been holding you back, it doesn’t matter anymore.

All that does is him.

I just read the first 6 issues of Batman: Urban Legends, and for one, I loved seeing TimBern form.

I think TimKon is pretty cute too, don't get me wrong (I actually don't know anything about Kon as a character as I haven't gotten to reading up about Stephanie, Cass, Duke, Babs, the Young Justice/Teen Titan/Titans?/Outcasts people in general, but I've seen Kons design and I absolutely adore it. I'll probably be all in for TimBerKon when I learn more about Kon-), but TimBern just makes me wanna bounce around with happiness they're so cute together 😭

For two, I liked the Jason stuff! I don't necessarily feel one way or the other about how they wrote him in his Robin era(I did think his Robin design was adorable tho), but I liked the current era stuff with him and Bruce. Because the two were still obviously very angry at each other, Jason for.. You know what reasons and Bruce because of Jason's homicidal way of fighting crime, but they also still counted on each other despite it. Like, when Jason realized it was a trap, and he knew he couldn't do it on his own (as much as that probably irked him because he's trying to be the confident, 'I can do it by myself' type), the first person he called for was Bruce. As if he knew Bruce wouldn't let him down again, even though he was still so pissed at him because of the past. And then he went to save Bruce afterwards when he got taken? Amazing.

Also to point out what other people have pointed out many times before, it's really telling of their characters that in Jason's vision they're all out of mask and happy together (Once again showing that despite the fact that he's so angry with Bruce, he still does love him), but in Bruce's vision he was in his Batman suit looking in, as if protecting them from a distance (Because the death of his parents broke and fractured his identity so much that he completely lost his Bruce Wayne identity to become Batman)

Plus it finally, finally, gave them a little bit of progress in their relationship. They were still angry at each other, it certainly wasn't magically fixed and made all better, but after all this time they at the very least put down the foundations for a better relationship. They finally decided to try and I think that's what I really wanted to see from them :]

Idk, maybe I'm just being a mushy lil' fluff enjoyer lol
