Twisted Wonderland
Reacting to you trying to go back home
Tumblr media
Characters: Overblotters
Notes: Yandere/Toxic themes involved
"Crowley thinks he might've found a way for me to get back home!"
Riddle Rosehearts
He looks at your smiling face and something in him breaks. He should be happy for you, he really should. This is what you had wanted from the beginning. To see your family and friends. To be free of magic and almost getting killed by overblots.
But you should've been happy here. He'd order his card soldiers to keep the rose garden in prim condition for you to gaze upon whenever you visited. The birthday parties always included a dish you liked. You got along well with Trey and Cater. Sure, Riddle was strict with his rules, but he grew more lenient with you. Surely, you could see that.
"That's wonderful news. And you're...happy to leave?" He tries not to let his voice crack as he grips one of the legs of the table they had just used to share dinner together. Apparently for the last time.
"Of course, I'll be happy to see everyone back home. It is a bittersweet feeling though. I'll miss you all." He chooses to ignore the 'all' part of your phrasing for a moment. You'd miss him and isn't that enough reason not to go?
"We'd all miss you as well....I, especially,-"
"But I think it'll be good for me to go and be back with my family, you know?" You add and he tenses again. He knows well how important family could be, and he also knows how burdensome they are. His mother forced him to adhere to strict guidelines, and while it shaped him into the respected house warden he is today, it also made him afraid. Terrified, even, that everything would go wrong if the rules were not followed.
Perhaps that's what you needed. A healthy dosage of fear and some rules to keep you in line. You were his perfect rose, blooming and unblemished. You had always managed to drag him away when he got too deep in his studies and talked him down when his face became as red as the flowers in his garden. But now your edges have grown frayed. You're trying to go back to your roots but he'd rip you out of the ground, thorns and all, to keep that from happening.
"Right. Well, it's gotten quite late and it wouldn't be proper for you to walk back to Ramshackle this late at night." He sensed your confusion even before you could voice it. You've taken plenty of late-night walks before and this would hardly be on the top list of most dangerous things you've done at the school.
"I can walk back-"
"I insist. I couldn't let you go...to your dorm! This late." Riddle shakes his head and covers his blushing face with a hand as he stands up from the table. "I have a room for you. If you'll take it?" He offers his hand to you, hoping you will miss the small trembles.
You smile at him again and take his hand, sending warmth even through his gloves.
"Just for tonight." You nod. Riddle gives you a small, though tight at the ends. His rose didn't need to know about the details of their stay, only that it was going to last longer than they thought.
"Of course. Although I must make sure you have an adequate stay. Rules indicate that guests should have the most hospitable experience, no matter how long that takes to fulfill." Riddle answers with ease and you see nothing wrong with it. His rose would blossom even more under his careful watch.
Leona Kingscholar
"And?"
The notion of you leaving was laughable to him. You had already managed to barge your way into his life, ruining his plans at the Spelldrive competition, ruining his nap routines, and ruining his pride as a prince. And he wouldn't have it any other way. Though the latter is still mostly kept intact.
You look at him, seemingly flabbergasted by his dismissal.
"And...that means I'll likely be leaving soon." You tell him. He sees your small frown. You must think he doesn't care that you're leaving. But it was quite the opposite. As much as he would never admit it to himself, he cares so much that he denies any possibility of it happening. He knows you don't actually want to leave.
Leona watches you sit up from his bed that both of you had been lying in for the past few hours. He grasps your wrist before it can leave the sheets. His grip is tighter than usual. Leona had always been like that. He demanded respect and expected you to follow. You, of course, were not so willingly submissive to him but that made it all the more fun for him to make you.
"Ruggie isn't going to be back 'till later tonight. I've got more sleep to catch up on. Especially after you bothered me last night." Leona tugs your wrist to bring you back closer to him while he rests his other arm under his head.  Last night you had came to him, clearly anxious about something and didn't want to be alone. Anyone else he would have turned away with a scoff, but he's found over time that he has a hard time refusing you. As long as it didn't involve you trying to run away from him.
"Are you even listening to me?" You narrow your eyes at him and he smirks.
"I have and it sounds like a buncha nonsense. Go back to sleep and maybe you'll forget your dumb ideas in the morning." Leona grumbles and pulls you to his chest. He hears you huff but you don't resist, lying back down beside him. He doesn't know exactly why you're having these kinds of thoughts but it doesn't really matter to him. If you want to run, he is glad to give his precious prey a chase.
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul's hands freeze in the air, his fork and knife about to cut into the juicy salmon that had been plated beautifully in front of him. He glances up at you, his smile also frozen on his face, as you were just talking about how much you enjoyed Night Raven College and the Mostro Lounge. All until you abruptly switched to this topic he thought he was doing a good job at evading.
"Ah, isn't that...delightful?" His words would have come off as calm to anyone else, but you notice the slight strain in his voice. You always seem to see right through him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you-"
"Upset me? No, quite the contrary. I think it's wonderful the headmaster has finally secured your passage back home." Azul muses and goes back to cutting his salmon, though it's obvious that his cuts are a bit more jagged.
"Yes... he said it could be any day now." You respond carefully. You try to offer him a smile as you take another sip of the drink he gave you on the house. He could see the small ounce of hope in your eyes of going back to your world. That wouldn't do.
"Is that so?" Azul takes a bite of his food, swallowing before adding, "It's really too bad you won't be able to go then." He continues eating, ignoring your confused eyes as if he didn't just say the strangest thing.
"Why wouldn't I be able to go?" You ask slowly. "I mean, the transportation might be difficult but-"
"It has been a while so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised you forgot." Azul sighs and dabs his face free of any smudges with his napkin. "You may not step out of the bounds of Night Raven College by any means, including the Dark Mirror."
"According to who?" You let out a disbelieving laugh.
"According to Article 3 Section 5 of the contract you signed." Azul takes another bite of the salmon, not letting himself react when you slam a hand on the table.
"What contract?! I never signed anything!" You snapped. He remains as calm as ever. This time, you couldn't read him, couldn't even see his eyes through the glint in his glasses.
"You must remember when you agreed to work in the Mostro Lounge for a couple months. I had you sign an employment contract. I warned you about reading it through to the end. A suggestion I don't give to most poor, unfortunate souls in this school." Azul answers.
He did indeed give you the small packet to look through and recommended reading it all. It wasn't his fault that Floyd made a commotion in the kitchen just as you started reading the end portion. Azul urged you to sign it while he dealt with the mess that Floyd undoubtedly caused and you did, just missing the statement that required you to be on-call even after your employment ended, and being on-call meant you always had to be within a certain range of the lounge.
"You can't be serious." You utter quietly with wide eyes, realizing exactly what he was talking about.
"I'm afraid I am. But don't fret too much. I think you'll come to like it here." Azul smiles again. A smile that's hardly recognizable.
He watches you jump up from the table and storm out of the lounge, passing confused customers who glance back at him. He takes a drink from his glass. Azul isn't worried about you walking out. You couldn't leave here, leave him, anyway. And if you tried to hide from him, he would just send Jade and Floyd to hunt you down. You have become one of his prized possessions, and he isn't going to let you go that easily.
Jamil Viper
"Really? It's about time." Jamil comments as he starts chopping the vegetables you prepared in a bowl.
He had invited you to try some new recipes with him that he'd then distribute to the Scarabia students. For the past few months, you had been inviting yourself into their kitchen, much to Jamil's annoyance. You always offered to help him and he always declined, especially when it came to Kalim's meals. He was not going to lose his job over a pretty face. You respected his refusals but you still liked to watch him for some odd reason. Today, he finally decided to let you help him.
He appears to be half paying attention to your words while you're stirring the stew. "Haven't you been waiting a while?"
"I have. Crowley's been pushing off researching but I finally made him go through with it!" You look quite proud of yourself and if Jamil wasn't so irritated, he might have thought it was cute.
He simply hums in response and continues swiping his blade through the onion, each cut sharper than the next. He should be fine with you leaving. People come and go, after all. It would make things easier for him as well. He would stop getting distracted so easily, riddling his fingers with knicks from the blade when his thoughts drifted off to you.
"Kalim also promised to help me pack my stuff. He's eager for me to see my family." He sees you smile absentmindedly as you stir. Jamil's hand clenches tighter on the knife.
"Of course he did." He mutters to himself. Kalim got everything we wanted, didn't he? He got the wins, the praise, the Housewarden title. And now he was going to send you off. Jamil bet he was even encouraging you to go and like always, Jamil would just have to accept it. Only this time, he wouldn't. Jamil never got anything he could have to himself, always having to share with Kalim. You would be the one thing he could keep just for him.
"That reminds me, I needed to ask you something," Jamil says and you look back at him. He takes a step closer to you and leans forward, whispering the name of his unique magic. His lips widen into a smirk as he watches your irises fade to red.
"You'll be staying here, won't you?"
Vil Schoenheit
He raises a perfectly trimmed eyebrow as he works to pluck yours with tweezers.
"Hm? That's not the line, darling," Vil says. In your hands is the large packet of paper that contains Vil's script for his upcoming film. He had asked you to practice lines with him. You agreed and in exchange, you asked him to put some makeup on you. It was something he's been wanting to do anyway so he obliged. All was going well until you dropped this bombshell on him.
"I know, I was trying to figure out how to tell you and I accidentally just blurted it out," You sigh.
"Mhm. And Crowley has- Close your eyes, now - provided a way for you to get back home safely?" Vil asks as he moves on to your eyes, brushing an eye shadow across your lids that matches your skin.
"I don't know if anything about that man is safe, per say, but he did seem pretty confident about this." You respond as you keep your eyes closed for him. Vil shakes his head with a small 'tut'. The headmaster didn't exactly have a track record for reliability. He voiced exactly this to you.
"Crowley may just end up sending you on a one-way ride to nowhere. There's no telling where he could send you, why not wait for a few trial runs?" He places a hand under your chin. "And besides, why do you need to go home so badly?" Vil puts the palette back down and takes a tube of lipstick in his hand.
"Well, I want to see my fam-" You're forced to stop talking until he finishes applying the lipstick, "I want to see my family and finish everything I had going on there."
"If that's the case, I don't see what you could do back home that you're unable to here. And if you want to see your family, shouldn't you make sure your travel is safe so you can get back to them in the first place?" Vil questions as he wipes the small smudge of lipstick from the bottom of your lip with his thumb.
"That's...true." You nod reluctantly. Vil smirks a bit as he moves his hand towards the back of your neck, his thumb tilting your head up so you can look at him properly.
"Correct. And if I'm not mistaken, you've built quite the life here, haven't you?" He watches you slowly nod and he soothes the back of your neck with gentle fingers.
"You really want to throw that all away?" Vil looks down at you with questioning eyes even though he already knows the answer. You shake your head.
"No...but I also know that's something I'll have to do if I want to go home." You tell him firmly. Vil lets out a sigh and turns away from you for a moment.
"If you say so, but at least let me leave you with a parting gift." He turns back towards you and presents a small perfume bottle with a fancy font across the lid that you can hardly. It would no doubt cost hundreds in the market.
"My own creation that I've been working on. You're the first to have it." Vil says as he hands it over. You take it with a bright smile.
"Thank you! I'll try it on as soon as I get back to Ramshackle." You respond excitedly as you move to stand up from his makeup chair but he places a gentle hand on your wrist.
"I'd like to hear your critique as soon as possible. You are my perfect model, after all." He says with a glint in his eyes. You didn't seem to have any problem with that and sprayed a few spritz of the perfume on yourself, promptly passing out in the chair. You would get it through your head eventually that you belong here. You just need a little more convincing.
Idia Shroud
"Hold up, what?"
Your sudden words caused him to press the wrong button and his character gets brutally killed by one of the forest monsters in the game. You wince and put down your controller, turning towards him on his remarkably soft couch.
"Yeah...sorry to tell you so late but it looks like it could be soon." You say and Idia tosses his controller to the side, facing you as well.
"So you're gonna go? Just like that?" He asks in shock. You only recently just started playing video games with him in his room. Before, you had to practically beg him just to play a game with you when you were both in different dorms. It took a lot of convincing but he soon gave in after some persuasion from his brother. Once, you showed up to his room to see if you could play in person and he stared at you with wide eyes for about five seconds before slamming the door in your face, apologizing later over text.
He was unbearably anxious around you at first but he got used to the idea that you wouldn't judge him so easily. So he showed you another side, his more competitive and ill-mannered side to see if that would make you go away. And you still didn't. You instead embraced him for it. So why now were you just going to forget about all that?
"I-I mean I have to," You were clearly caught off guard by the intense look in his eyes, "I have a home and a family and friends-"
"Yeah, yeah, sure but what about everything you have here?" Idia insists.
"Everything I have here?" You ask.
"Y-Yeah, those first years, Grim, your dorm, me- many other things!" He stammers out. It would be way too cringe to mention himself deep down he hopes he's one of the things that could keep you here.
"Of course I'll miss everyone, but I miss everyone back home too," You say. Idia sighs deeply as he throws his head back on the couch.
"You're reallly set on this, huh?" Idia asks. You bite your lip and nod.
"But I still-" You try to add but he cuts you off.
"No, I get it. I wouldn't wanna be around me either." Idia sighs again. You look at him with wide eyes and fervently shake your head.
"No, it's not like-"
"You must have better friends back home if you're so desperate to see them again." He adds as he looks away with a frown. You don't notice him peeking back at you. You sigh and tilt your head so you can fully meet his gaze.
"Look, I'll talk to Crowley, see if he can push it back a bit." You tell him. He looks at you curiously.
"Are you sure? I don't wanna pressure you if-"
"No, it's okay. I want to spend more time with you and everyone anyway." You give him a small smile and he smiles back. He could play the pity card all day if it meant you'd stay.
Malleus Draconia
Malleus pauses in his steps, looking at you with a wide, curious gaze.
"You're leaving?" He utters. The two of you had been enjoying your nightly walks together back to Ramshackle. After one too many fights and attacks happening after hours on campus, he thought it best to escort you back home. He could easily teleport you both back to your dorm, but it gave him a good excuse to be around you more.
"Yes, hopefully it'll be soon. I'm excited to go back!" You smile enthusiastically and Malleus can only offer a grimace back.
"I suppose you could say I'm a little surprised. I thought you were happy here. Did I assume wrong?" He asks as he continues walking you to your dorm. Normally you would have never been able to keep up with his pace but he always kept a slower one for you.
"Oh no, I am happy here. My friends have been wonderful and I'm glad I'm friends with you. There's just some things I could do without." You mention offhandedly as you gaze up at the moon. He looks down to see it reflected in your eyes. The moon is wondrous but all he can see are the eyes that pinned a man who could never yield so deeply. You managed to befriend a dragon who is intimidating in every manner. That kind of connection isn't so flimsy that it could be dismissed by thoughts of departure.
"Things such as what?" Malleus perks up at the idea of solving one of your problems. As powerful as he is, there are a number of things he can't help you with. He couldn't do anything about your assignment getting deleted after your internet 'crashed' or about the friendship problems you once had with the Heartslabyul boys, but he's always eager to listen, just as you always do with him.
"It's just some rowdy guys from Savanaclaw who are still mad about the Spelldrive competition. They've been bothering me a bit but it's not a big deal." You tell him and he stops the both of you this time with a hand on your shoulder.
"Bothering you? For how long?" Malleus didn't mean to turn his hard glare on you but he couldn't help the fury building up inside of him. Many of the students already noticed your looming shadow that often followed you around like a lost puppy, which was usually enough to keep them from trying anything. Malleus isn't naive enough to believe that students at this school are always on their best behavior when he has his own business to deal with in the Diasomnia dorm. However, he swiftly and discretely took care of any nuisances that he happened to notice. He didn't think you were keeping anything from him.
"Like I said, it's not-" You try to soothe him but his glare only hardens.
"For how long?" Malleus repeats and he doesn't plan to a third time.
"For about a month now...but I can handle it myself!" You insist but he ignores the latter half of your sentence as his face morphs back into a gentler one.
"So that's what's been burdening you? I wish you'd have told me sooner but it's no matter. I'll take care of it." Malleus assures you.
"I mean that's one thing, but I have other reasons-" He cuts you off with a pat on your head as the two of you stop in front of Ramshackle's doors.
"You don't have to ruminate on it any longer. Do try to tell me about any other troublesome students in the future. I'll handle them and anyone else who tries to ruin your happiness here at Night Raven College." He vanishes in a flurry of lights before you can say a word. Any serious notion of you leaving is unthinkable to him, and if you do come up with more reasons, he'll make sure to take care of those as well.

Small moments with them (Diasomnia and Staff)
It's going on walks with Malleus. It's a simple thing really, but it always means so much to him. He rarely gets time alone since he usually has guards, but at night he can sneak out and be without them. He loves spending this time with you. You two were walking around the campus as usual. The usually busy and chaotic campus was quiet and peaceful. A nice change really. Malleus was smiling as you described your recent adventures with friends. He loved hearing everything you had to say, and was even more interested to hear about all the things you do and the trials you face. He laughs when you explain something stupid Ace did at the Mostro Lounge. But then you stepped walking and he grew concerned. Should he not have laughed? Are you upset with him? He must apologize and fix his mistake. But then you smiled and said he should come along next time. He was instantly filled with joy upon hearing your invitation. Of course, he agreed and you two continued your story telling and walk.
It's styling hair with Lilia. He cuts and dyes his own hair, so he knows how to style hair. If you let him style your hair he will do it anyway you like. It's even more fun if you decide to dye it. He won't force it though. One thing he really loves though, is to let you do his hair. You sat behind him pondering what to do. He was patiently waiting on the ground in front of you. Lilia told you that you could do anything you wanted to his hair. His hair is pretty short so any ponytail would be small, but it would've been cool to see the black mix with the pink. Then you got an idea. The hair near the front of his face was probably long enough to do a very small braid. Politely, you asked him to turn to the side and he obeyed. The braid ended up very small, but it looked good. The pink and black looked really cool tied together. Once you said you were done, Lilia looked into a small mirror to check your work. He laughed but admired the braid, and promised to keep his hair like that for the rest of the day. He did, but Malleus and Sebek were confused.
It's taking naps with Silver. He's a well trained knight even if he falls asleep a lot. If there was any real danger he would be awake immediately. Basically, if Silver is sleeping, then you're safe. He fell asleep next to you out in the open grass. Even though other students would walk by, you knew you were safe with him here. You're laying next to him with his head resting on your hand. It's incredibly peaceful. So peaceful, that just being here in the warm sun with him was enough to make you fall asleep too.
It's talking about Malleus with Sebek. It doesn't take much to get him talking about Malleus. It's hard to have a conversation with him without him bringing up the fae prince. But Sebek is so used to people being annoyed by his talk about Malleus. So he's extremely surprised when you ask him to tell you about Malleus. Not because you don't know him, but because you want to hear Sebek's thoughts. He will sit you down, get you a drink, and make sure you're comfortable for the long conversation. A conversation which is mostly one sided. He tells you about all of Malleus' great achievements. You get to chime in every once in a while to praise Malleus or mention something else about him to keep the conversation moving. For some people it can be exhausting to hear him talk on about someone else for hours. But Sebek is so passionate when he speaks and his devotion to Malleus really is admirable. Really Sebek is happy that you're even willing to listen to him.
It's being nice to Crowley. Anything nice really. He doesn't get a lot of positivity sent his way as headmage, so to hear something positive from you is really something. Most students think of him as a terrible headmage. He may be lazy and sometimes put his students in danger, but he thinks they just don't see how humble and kind he is. You didn't say much to him. It was just the two of you in the hallway when you complimented his coat. That was all it took for him to freeze. Someone complimented him? A genuine compliment? Sure it was about his coat, but it was a real compliment. Crowley is sniffling and his voice is wavering as he thanks you. You can see his arms raise almost like he wants to hug you. But he doesn't. Instead he stands there on the verge of crying and thanking you over and over.
It's getting to wear Crewel's coat. That's a privilege no one else gets, and it definitely doesn't happen often. Crewel often helps you keep up with your studies. Of course it's easier to help with science since he teaches it, but he'll help you with other subjects too. He may be strict but he's a good teacher. You've been buried in these books for hours now. At some point the sun set and all this studying was starting to make you tired. The books became harder to read and the words were just getting blurrier by the second. Maybe you just had to look at them closer? Okay maybe you're a little too close. Resting your head against the book probably isn't helping. Closing your eyes isn't either, but it's just for a second right? You can definitely hear Crewel talking, but you can't tell what he's saying. The next thing you know there's a big weight on top of you, and it's super soft too! It's very warm and comforting. Before you know it, you're drifting off to sleep under the big fluffy coat.
It's being the only person Trein trusts with Lucius. He get's freaked out when Lucius isn't with him, but if he knows Lucius is with you then he's not worried at all. The cat absolutely loves you, and will even purr for you. Even as you sat in history class with all your classmates around you. Most of them hated the cat and it's death-stare. But you never got that stare. In fact, you were the only person Trein would tolerate for not paying full attention. Partially because that attention was focused on his dear cat. Lucius sat on your lap perfectly content. He was even purring. You weren't fully paying attention to the class or what was being taught, but Trein didn't say a thing. Meanwhile he lectured anyone else who even had a uninterested look in their eyes.
It's being Vargas' co-referee. He's very enthusiastic about exercise in any form, and he's always encouraging other students to join in. So when you share that enthusiasm, he's both surprised and extremely happy. Most students do barely enough to pass, but Vargas is always trying to motivate them. He just wants them to be as strong as they possibly can. Now he gives you the chance to help motivate them. Maybe a fellow classmate will be more inspiring than he is. So, he gives you your own whistle and everything. Together you two are running around the field towards students who were slacking behind. Maybe you didn't share the same level of enthusiasm as you blew that whistle, but he was over the moon about it anyway.
It's the little care packages Sam gives you. He isn't one to give things away for free. Maybe a discount for some, but rarely for free. But you are an exception for that. Occasionally he'll ask you to stop by his shop, and when you get there, he has a box with a neat bow waiting on the counter. This time was the same. When you opened the box there was a whole treasure trove waiting for you. Your favorite snacks, drinks, and even little trinkets he thought you would like. It isn't a big thing, but it's a big sign he cares. Just like always, you hug Sam and thank him for the package.
It's these small moments with them that makes everything in Twisted Wonderland more worth it.

So what ur thoughts on the bafias nominations David been nomination for best comedy actor while Michael hasn't been nominated for anything and the fan on twitter can't understand why now I personally think after Al aggressive behaviour on a post when they got his name wrong on his favourite radio station and how her stories on ig recently just werid behaviour do u think Al may had sabotaged his chances of getting a nomination for anything
What ur thoughts
Hi there! So I am once again on the road and attending a conference in Las Vegas that just wrapped up, and now I finally have a chance to comment on today's exciting news.
I'm sure everyone has seen by now, but congrats to our lovely David on his first (main) BAFTA nom for Male Performance in a Comedy!
Tumblr media
It seems almost surreal that David has never been nominated for a (main) BAFTA before now, and given the breadth of his other recent TV performances (Des, Litvinenko) nominating him for Good Omens season 2 is certainly a choice...especially in the absence of a nomination for Michael. Looking at the list of nominations, it appears that Best Interests was nominated for Limited Drama, as was Sharon Horgan for Leading Actress...but no nomination for Michael for Leading Actor, either. So very quickly, this starts to look like a visible and intentional snub.
In terms of why Michael would be snubbed, I think there are a few possible reasons, but none of them have anything to do with AL. Readers of my blog know that I am never hesitant to call Anna out when it is merited, but in all likelihood the BAFTA nominations were decided long before now, and in my opinion she would not have any influence on whether Michael is nominated regardless of when her social media posts were made. So it does not make sense to place blame on her in this instance.
My feeling is that the reasons for Michael's lack of a nomination (and really, David's nomination specifically for GO) are likely twofold. One is that I'm guessing Amazon/whoever submitted David for consideration didn't want to pit Michael and David against each other. If they were both competing in the same category, it could split the votes, so only nominating one of them seems the best way of avoiding that. The second reason (again, in my opinion) seems to be political.
I was surprised to recently learn that Prince William is the president of BAFTA--British followers, help me out here, because this is very, very weird to a confused American--and as we know, Michael has spoken out on a number of hot button issues over the last few months: Opening a conversation about Welsh independence. The question of the devolution of the crown estate to Wales. And of course, abolishing the title of Prince of Wales. Not to mention all of the backlash incurred by the release of The Way, which was roundly savaged in the press and accused of promoting anti-English sentiments.
Granted, there have been politically active nominees and winners at the BAFTAs in the past, but it really feels like the combination of all these things is somehow working against Michael. Let's also not forget this epic picture from the BAFTA film awards last month, with Michael giving Wills the side-eyest of Welsh side-eyes:
Tumblr media
All this said, it is difficult (if not impossible) to think of Michael and David's performances in GO as separate things, because they are so inextricably intertwined. The reason that we got David's incredible performance as Crowley is because Michael was there as Aziraphale, and vice-versa. I think David and Michael themselves would be the first ones to say it, as well as to be in awe and so supportive of each other's acting. The response of fans to this nomination news--saying Michael is a better actor, Michael deserved to be nominated instead, etc.--is so perplexing to me, because I think he was probably the first one in line to congratulate David, and would chew out anybody who put down David's acting for any reason.
I also think that if the lack of a nomination is due to the above-mentioned political reasons, then Michael is probably wearing it like a fucking badge of honor. I think he is also happier for David than anyone else on the planet right now (because that's his boyfriend, damn it), and I truly hope the stars align and give us Michael presenting David with an award again like at the NTAs in 2021. (Michael subsequently carrying David off the stage bridal style would be the cherry on top of the already extremely homoerotic cake.)
I also feel that there is no question David is as taken aback by his nomination/Michael's lack of a nomination for GO as much as the rest of us are. While I have no idea what David's chances of winning truly are, I think he would wholeheartedly and enthusiastically share that award with Michael. And I think he will share that night with Michael no matter what, regardless of what happens on the broadcast.
So many possibilities come to mind, really. I can imagine David and Michael re-enacting Every (without the heartbreaking bits, of course) on stage. I've seen people making references to the infamous Slow Show fic/how it parallels to real life, and while I've only read part of it (haven't gotten to finish), the thought of any kiss between Michael and David is beyond gorgeous to contemplate. Not for the sake of "content" or as a joke, of course (because I don't think they would be willing to kiss as a joke, because if they were, they would've done it by now), but because we would see a facet to Michael and David's relationship that's always been there in private become public. And it would be their choice to share it with us.
Those are my reactions to the BAFTAs announcement today. I'd love to hear from my followers as well with your thoughts and comments. Thanks for writing in! x

Hello~! I would like to request a fluffy scenario in which Riddle Rosehearts plans to propose to his fem! s/o, asking her to be his future wife. Takes place after the events of Ghost Marriage. Make it super fluffy, please? Thanks!
Tumblr media
Note// Y/N is considered as Yin instead of Yuu. Hope that's alright;;;
Note// I’m so glad I was able to speedrun to unlock his Ghost Marriage card before maintenance came- phew,,, :’3
Tumblr media
It has been a few months since you last talked with Riddle after what happened that night. The series of events were undeniably unforgettable as they reminded you of certain thoughts that haven't crossed your mind for a while. Until now...
Thinking of the relationship you established with Riddle after years of growing your friendship since elementary... and how the future will it be for the both of you.
You're not worried about what happened back in his overblot arc, you're not worried about his strict mother who doesn't appreciate her son as much as you do, you're not worried if he ever hurts you someday... Because you have been already there to see him lose his mind, not only throwing it on everyone else but also at himself...
There's one single thought you haven't decided....
'Should i leave? Or should i stay...?' You carefully think, remembering the fact that you don't actually belong to NRC in the first place.
You were mistaken to be there when you're originally supposed to be in the Royal Tiara Academy. Technically the sister of Royal Sword Academy, an all-girls boarding school.
From the papers, the same exceptional report card as Riddle's, but different talents and career paths, Riddle's mother just knew you would rather belong in an environment full of goody-two-shoes princes and pricesses since the first glance-
Yet, a coffin happened to have snatch you away and escorted you to the NRC ceremonial hall--- your confused self finding yourself in ceremonial robes and waking up from a standing coffin that just opens magically, meeting curious, but puzzled eyes at the unusual newcomer.
But other than that, your lost eyes also met with a familiar pair of dark grey orbs... Riddle, elementary best friend, who also then became your high school sweetheart. Since the moment the magical mirror choose you to be in Heartslabyul.
It was an awkward situation at first from the 2 years of not seeing each other after middle school... The last year when you had to move away from the Queendom of Roses to a different land.
Yet, nothing can make Riddle seem more tender to anyone else other than you. He never thought you would come back to him, dreaming of you in his arms as you both hide beneath the painted rose bushes... yet here you are.
Of course, some obstacles happened that came between you two along... Riddle was notably greatly influenced by his mother's standards at that time... making him less lenient on rules with everyone in the dorm, rough yelling, and strict penalties here and there, leading to disagreements between you two by what would be the better for Heartslabyul. Some dorm studebts almost mistaken it as an "every night lovers' quarrel."
His once short-tempered and constant anger almost stopped you from holding on to him- yet you gave him the patience as time goes by, slowly waking him up from all the madness he has been going through- it was a tough task since it happened like a very steep downhill roller coaster ride, especially with the overblot event. It slowly worked out at the end.
So... why is Riddle not saying anything?
Oh, right.
RTA's headmaster discussed with the headmaster Crowley and decided to schedule a day to pick you up and escort you back to the royal academy.... The news seemed to affect Riddle a lot in a negative behavior. No matter how much you assure him that there are the possibilities to see each other more often outside the campus, Riddle is slowly growing more gloomy than ever in his little corner.
Until one day, he broke out of his bubble. Wanting to man up and speak to you like you both always do, before he ever loses his chance.
Taking the opportunity that he found you at the usual spot, you both often go together. A hidden part of the rose maze only you two, Che'nya, and Trey know so well, where a there is a table accompanied with 4 chairs. With a bonsai of a little cherry tree sitting on the center of the table.
He saw you there sitting at the round table all alone, looking down at the little cherry tree's pot. Even despite all the roses painted red or white waiting to be painted in red, there is always a single cherry tree hidden in the maze where Riddle just couldn't have the heart to get rid of... because you gave him the tree as an anniversary gift.
Nonetheless, the housewarden quietly walked towards you before sitting across. Everything was just silence, it is hard to figure whether it was uneasy or pleasant... Riddle has no used to desperately trying to find the right words to say quickly, and instead, he breathes in and tries to search for the right words, no matter how long it will take. Knowing you, you don't seem bothered by how quiet it seems.
"Have you wondered why the cherry tree hasn't grown yet?" You broke the silence with a gentle question. A purely curious tone. Your eyes are not looking away from the pot.
"...I have once." The red-haired whispered back, only glancing at the other's face with hands neatly folded on his lap.
It was the honest reply... Why hasn't the little tree haven't grown yet? It has never changed its appearance for 2 years already.
"That’s because it is meant to be designed to grow and change with you." You simply replied, recording back to the memory when you put a permanent spell on that tree. "And even if you're ever gone, the tree will be left as your legacy as long as you're remembered."
"What if I'm ever forgotten...?" Riddle then asked, his tone sounding quite soft and frail. Seem to afraid of the idea.
"That will never happen," you assured quite firmly, "Because I'll always remember you for the next 70 years of my life probably, and I'll never stop thinking of that smile of yours...!" You pointed determinedly. Also maybe a hint of light teasing.
"A-Ah...." Riddle stammers, ears going lightly red at the statement you made. He raises his gloved hand to cover his lower part of his face as you laugh softly at how your boyfriend is slowly turning red per second.
After a few minutes, your laughter slowly subdues into chuckles. Before giving a one more sad smile.
"Are you... angry at me?"
"Goodness- no." Riddle stops blushing before denying a bit.
"You seem very upset lately,,,"
"Well- i'm angry because i can't even bring myself to be angry!" Riddle lightly frowns which almost looks like a small pout, forming fists on his lap, "Right when you're getting comfortable here, those pompous princes and princesses now need you back? It's been already 1 and a half years!"
"It was indeed a tough situation," you admit lightly as you sipped your cup of tea, "but then again, RSA and NRC have this heated rivalry, so it was probably the same between RTA and NRC..."
"I- Yin..." Riddle hesitates, his voice frowing less exasperated into a hopeless one. "Stay..."
"Riddle...." You start off softly too, trying to reach for his hand. He seemed to hesitate, however. But he didn't want to look away from you either, fearing you'll depart at any moment.
The place you both are in has been always magical,,, but why does it feel more bittersweet?
"I need to confess... -"
"What kind of confession...?" You lightly ask, a bit curious what your beloved needs to say.
To be more honest, you were the first one out of the two of you to ask out- so it was astonishing to see Riddle taking initiative by words.
Which can also mean it's crucially important.
"I know it has been only 3 years since we started this relationship... And that we're too young for this step-," Riddle struggles to begin, the ironic it might sounds when he's a big spokesperson in debates, "but i just want to know, if you can wait with me until i give you a real ring...-"
These few words cued Riddle to hold your hand so tenderly, interlocking it before slowly unfolding your fingers....
Revealing a simple, silver band with a carved rose as the base in your ring finger.
",,,Would you be my future wife, just as I'm forever yours?"
"..."
"Yin... Please stay. I... I don't know what will i do if you leave..."
"..."
"It will never be the same if we part ways again,,,"
Your silent reaction slowly worries Riddle as the fear for rejection is starting to eat him up bit by bit.
Until tears started to slowly fall off your pretty eyes before embracing your boyfriend, now fiancé, a bit more tightly than before.
"Always... Always with you,,,." You quietly whispers through your sobs as you lovingly sit yourself on Riddle's lap out of innocent intentions, still hugging him in your arms before Riddle gently guided your face to share a soft, tender kiss. You complied with no more words, now sealing one thing you have been trying to decide...
"Yin... I love you."
"I love you, Riddle.”
"How... How are we going to tell the RTA's headmaster?" Riddle addresses one thing, a bit concerned. He struggled in wanting you to stay but also knows how much you wanted to return to the rightful academy you once called it "home."
"I'll tell him i already have a home here i already belong in." You shortly answered, smiling softly at Riddle before placing another kiss on his flushed cheek. Then, changing the subject into the topic about hedgehogs.
'I'll stay in Heartslabyul with him, then..' You thought, feeling all the weight in your head brushed away for the first time.

On archangels and Crowley's former rank in good omens 2:
Thought I'd do a brief post putting together my updated view on Heaven's archangel hierarchy, based on both this post by Neil and the lore drops in season 2.
"I wasn't the original concept designer, but I worked very closely with upstairs." "You know how God likes sevens." "The kind of miracle only the mightiest of archangels could have performed." "How do you know I didn't do it?" "That arch traitor Crowley--" "I am the only first order archangel in the room--or, you know, the universe--" (extended cut to Crowley) "You'd have to be a Throne, a Dominion, or above." "He always did want to go his own way. Always asking damn fool questions." "Let there be light."
Proposed hierarchy of good omens archangels:
First Order: Gabriel (former); Lucifer, now Satan (former); [REDACTED], now Crowley (former); Aziraphale (current, replacement)
Second Order: Michael; Uriel (higher than the others, but beneath the first order archangels)
Third Order: Saraqael (she defers to Michael and Uriel in her first scene, but is important enough to be present at Gabriel's trial); Sandalphon (Neil has referred to him as a 'lesser archangel')
Points of confusion:
"For one prince of Heaven to be cast into the outer darkness makes a good story. For it to happen twice makes it look like there is some kind of institutional problem."
This quote is almost certainly referring to Lucifer. Obviously this cuts against the theory that Crowley was a first order archangel, though idk what was up with the editing in that scene if that's the case. They cut to him immediately after Gabriel says the line.
Baraqiel. Dominion. Angel of the Sky. Appearance: Hair an eye-burning jinnjer. Eyebrows with the appearance of a grisly slug. Often draped in red. Occashunly damp, most likely singed.
Lots of people have been talking about this page from Furfur's angel spotting guide:
Tumblr media
I'm of the opinion that this probably (though it's possible) wouldn't be in the prop book and shown for so long on screen if it wasn't A Clue. The page would've looked fine with just Aziraphale's information. Entirely possible that it's just hinting at a new character for season 3, but the description sounds enough like Crowley that I'm suspicious. (Eye-burning ginger.)
Of course, this cuts against the archangel Crowley theory, but all we know for sure is that he was a Throne or Dominion or above. It's possible that I'm just reading too much into all the other hints that seem to point to him being an archangel. (Though for what it's worth, Baraqiel is known as an archangel outside of Good Omens canon, and is also known as "lightning of God," which is very interesting in a season where Crowley summons both a tempest and a bolt of lightning.)
Would love to hear what people think! I know a million people have been talking about this, I just wanted to organize my own thoughts.

Leona kingscholar x reader
*it’s all just maybe fluff- but maybe I would make a part 2 with more spicy moments :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was close to break and yet again Crowley had not found you a way home . So just like last year you would stay at the school while everyone else got to go and see their loved ones. Grin was more that happy to stay at the school and do nothing but ransack the kitchen for a few weeks.
But maybe this year would be different. During your stay at night raven college you gotten close to a certain lion. Even tho he was not always the best to get along with. He was definitely a guy you did not want to be on the bad side of. Also when ever you guys were by each other, everyone knew to stay away from you because of his intimidating glare. He might have a small soft spot for you after helping you in octavinelle.
So once he heard that you again having to stay alone at the school he thought it best to instead offer an alternative.
You were in the library studying for one more test before break. “Oi herbivore.” You looked up to see the one and only 2nd prince standing in front of you. “Oh! Leona do you need something?” You looked at his emerald eyes, they show no emotion as he said. “You can always come with me to my home if you still have no where to go during break.
You looked at him before smiling. “Thanks Leona! I really do need to leave this school for a while.” He gave you a smirk and walked away out of the library.
Now on the outside you looked completely normal. But on the inside your mind was going crazy. Leona fucking kingscholar invited you to his home! His home is literally a castle! A red blush spread across your face as you thought about everything that just happened. “Please tell me I’m not going insane.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~
When break finally came you were in ramshackle packing up the small amount of things would bring. Grabbing your bag you made your way to the mirror chamber. When you got their you saw ace and deuce also exited to go home.
“Hey y/n!” Ace waved at you. Deuce gave you a confused look. “Why are you packed, you going somewhere?”
“Oh yeah I’m going with Leona for break.” Both of their eyes widened and jaw dropped. “LEONA KINGSCHOLAR?” Ace grabbed your shoulders and looked at you dead in the eyes. “Did he bribe you or something? Why are going with a guy like him?” Deuce also gave you a questioning and empathetic look.
You smiled lightly and held ace’s shoulder. “Don’t worry I’ll be fine. Besides I trust him enough to not hurt me.” Even after saying that their worried faces still didn’t go away? “Wait, then where is grim staying?” Deuce asked. “Oh he will just stay at the school, I asked the ghosts to keep a very close eye on him to make sure he won’t burn the whole school down.”
A few more minutes of waiting you saw the guy you have been waiting. And of course he had nothing but his phone and wallet with him. “You ready?” He asked. You nodded and you both went up to the big mirror. You turned and waved to ace and deuce.
Stepping into the mirror you were met with a strange feeling and a slight gust of wind on your body. Then you felt the humid and hot air around you. Opening your eyes you were met with a magnificent scenery. The hot sun overhead and vast land around. You could also see Leona’s house (or castle).
When heading towards the castle you guys walked in comfortable silence as you admired everything around you. Leona looked at how astonished you looked looking at his homeland. Arriving at the castle the doors opened for the both of you. It was slightly colder and felt good on your already warm body.
“Leona! Is that you!” You looked at Leona and he had a irritated look on his face. “Shit.” You looked and saw a figure taller than Leona. He had ginger/brown hair and brown eyes. This must be falena… Leona’s brother. But that was not the only one. Behind the king was a smaller child know as Cheka. “Uncle!” Cheka ran up and hugged leona’s leg making him more irritated.
“Oh! You must be y/n. Falena looked at you. “Yep.” You smiled and waved. Cheka looked at you and smiled widely. “It’s you! You were at the spwelldrive thingy.” You chuckled and knelt down to his height. “Yep that was me.” Cheka ran up to hug you. You hugged back and looked at Leona who still had a sour look.
He grabbed your arm and dragged you away and to the upper level of the castle. Going down a hallway to a group of doors he opened them leading to a luxurious bedroom. It had a lot of browns, blacks and some yellow. Having some decorations of bright colors to symbolize the sunset savanna.
“Your room is the one across from mine.” He set is phone and wallet on his bed and led you to your room (Even though it was not far). You opened the door and it opened to a room with a king size bed and many bright colors. You admired the room and let your bag on the couch. You turned to him leaning against the door frame. “It’s really nice thanks Leona.” Hearing you say that made his heart skip a beat and a small pink dusted his cheeks. “No worries. I didn’t want you spending the break along again.”
You checked the time and it around noon. “You wanna go around town?” Leona asked you. He did not expect your eyes to light up. “Uh hell yes!”
Leaving the castle you headed to the main town around the sunset savanna. Their were shops and restaurants and you wanted to look at all them. You headed to a jewelry shop. Looking at the necklaces, rings, brackets, and earrings you were in awe at them all. You had you eye on a a set of a necklace, ring and earrings. They were the traditional colors of the sunset savanna and looked amazing in the sunlight. You were smart and brought your own money so you didn’t have to always ask Leona. But when you put the set on the counter Leona drifted your attention to someone that was doing a dance outside.
While you were distracted Leona gave the cashier the money for your jewelry. When you turned back the set was already in your hands and he was out the door. Looking at your hands then him, and then your hands again you ran after him. “Leona! You didn’t have to pay for me I could have pay for myself.” He had no expression and just shrugged “Just say it’s my treat.” You were about to argue back but then let it go. There was no use arguing with him.
You and Leona spend many hours in town trying different foods, watching performers on the street and going into many shops you both were officially tired for the day.
Heading back to his home you were surprised him being the lazy lion he is spent all this time with you. Usually at school he put in the least amount of effort or made Ruggie do things for him. But here he is buying things for you and spending hours of time with you.
Walking through the hallway leading to both of your rooms you were about to go your separate way before you felt someone grab for hand. Leona instead led you to his room and closed the door. He grabbed you gently and sat you on the bed and laid next to you.
You were confused till you saw his arm laying across your body. Ohh he want to use you as a pillow (not that you objected for anything) you laid down next to him and he put his head into your neck. A blush also spread across your face as you wrapped your arms around his head and played with his hair.
You heard a satisfied sigh from him. He fell asleep very quickly and soon your eyes started to feel heavy and you also feel into a deep sleep. Both of you comfortable in each other embrace.

The Dragon in the Mountain
CHAPTER FIVE
Malleus x GN! Reader [Warnings: Crowley Slander]
~AO3 Link~
Working for Night Raven College, MC made several trips through the mountains to deliver letters and packages for the school. Finding themself alone, caught in a blizzard with hardly any strength left, they were certain it was the end. That is until…
(Chapter One)
The trip down the mountain was easy. Malleus was able to ward the rain from the two of them. As they walked he answered their endless questions. His name was Malleus Draconia. Malleus was a dragon AND a fae. The curse was from another mage they hadn’t heard of. Malleus was the fifth most powerful mage in the world. He’d been away from his home for about sixteen years. They asked about his age, but he just chuckled. They only stopped with their questions as they came to the gate of the school late into the night.
Night Raven College was the same as it always was, though watching the rain from inside a bubble gave it more of a surreal aspect. The hour was close to midnight as they walked down the main road and to the castle. Idly they talked about some of the lore of the campus. They’d given tours too much to stop themself from reciting at least parts of their script. Malleus was silent, either listening or ambivalent as they carried on into the castle.
“You know you don’t have to escort me all this way,” they chuckled. They weren’t supposed to bring visitors into the castle without permission, but no one was around at the late hour anyways.
“I would like to.” Malleus offered, though his tone was a bit more severe than it had been on the walk. MC shrugged it off, coming to Crowley’s office.
“Just give me a moment to drop off my delivery,” They offered, excusing themself. Malleus nodded and they knocked on Crowley’s door. Hearing their name called, they entered.
Crowley scowled at them, “Finally you show up! I’ve been waiting all day for you. This is very unprofessional.”
MC sighed, “Ah… I know, I’m sorry.” Pulling out the packages and letters from their bag, they set it on his desk, “I made it back before midnight though!” They pointed out, hopeful.
“Before midnight?!” Crowley spat, “You kept me here until midnight— and look at you! You’re not wet! You changed your clothes, dried your hair, all before coming to me. It’s disrespectful!”
MC gaped, “No— I came here first, really I…” They trailed off, uncertain how to explain themself.
Crowley’s eyes widened, his mouth hanging open. He nearly fell to the ground with how fast he took a knee, his head bowed low, his palms flat on the ground. MC took a few steps back, confused as Crowley nearly shouted, “P-Prince Draconia!”
MC turned their head to Malleus, who stood in the doorway. He drew forward gracefully, a look of disgust on his face.
“You’re the holder of their contact?” He asked, his voice latent with venom.
Crowley’s head shot up, a clear panic on his face. He looked like he was trying to smile, but was failing miserably, “Yes… your highness.”
Malleus sneared, clicking his tongue dismissively. Without looking, he pulled his brooch from his lapel, “I’ll pay their release.” He stated.
Both MC and Crowley stared at the brooch, eyes wide. It was gold, ornate, with a gem the size of wine cork. They both knew it was overkill, worth far far more than their contract.
“Ah— of course! That… that will cover the remainder of their contract!” Crowley announced, staring up the gem. Malleus was about to discard the brooch, but before it could leave his hand, MC stopped him.
“Wait— he’s said he was researching how to get my memories back…” MC pointed out, looking down at the Headmage.
Crowley didn’t look away from the brooch, “Oh, it's a lost cause.” He answered quickly.
“What?!” MC frowned, “You said you were still looking–”
“Yes, well,” Crowley cut them off, looking at them briefly, clearly frustrated they were stalling the payment, “I just thought you’d have a little more motivation if you didn’t know.”
MC could only stare, eyes wide and lost as they took in the information.
“What do you mean by a lost cause?”
Crowley’s gaze snapped back to Malleus, the frustration on his face quickly replaced with the same half grin as before, “Ah— well… whatever happened to them there’s no trace of magic left— if it ever was magic at all! So there’s no spell to be undone and mind magic to try and fix it… well I’m certain someone as knowledgeable and astute as yourself knows how dangerous it is.”
Malleus sighed, dropping the brooch lazily. Crowley lunged towards it. Quickly snatching it from the floor, Crowley inspected it closely, murmuring under his breath about the quality and the craftsmanship.
A hand fell onto MC’s shoulder and they looked up to Malleus. Biting their lip they forced themself quiet, unsure if they were going to sob or scream if they spoke. Shaking their head they lowered their gaze, their arms tight across their chest. Stuck in place, in the racing mix of emotions they just stared at the office carpet.
“Come, there’s no reason to dwell here.” Malleus hummed. MC nodded, turning to follow him out.
“Wait— MC!” Crowley huffed, standing, and coming towards them quickly, grabbing their arm, “You know— I had your best intentions in mind! I am so kind after all, and we are such close friends, are we not? I took you in when you needed someone the most, you’ll remember that won’t you?”
MC furrowed their brow looking back at Crowley, “Yeah, I’ll remember that.” They huffed, pulling their arm from his grip. They didn’t have the energy to list every ridiculous, mind numbing, dangerous or inappropriate job they’d be sure to remember. Though by the dawning look of regret, they were certain Crowley understood the subtext.
The Ramshackle dorm was just as they had left it. MC briefly introduced Malleus to the ghosts of the house while they packed their few personal items. It was quick work really. Slinging the bag over their back, they sighed and stepped out of the only place they remembered. Malleus wasn’t far behind.
“This building really is quite charming.” He hummed, admiring the dilapidated dorm.
MC chuckled, “I think you’re one of the only people who’ve said that… but yeah. I’ll miss it.”
He nodded as MC waved one final time to the ghosts in the window. One looked close to crying if he still could. They started down the path.
“I guess I gotta find somewhere to go…” MC hummed, thinking back. They’d been close with some of the previous graduates around their age, but where they were now was a tough question to answer. Furthermore it’d be kind of a lot to ask an old friend to move in with them for a bit.
Malleus pulled them from their thoughts, “I would be more than happy to host you.”
MC looked up at him, the idea playing out in their head for a moment as they weighed the pros and cons.
“You know, you didn’t tell me you were a prince.” They pointed out.
Malleus grinned, “You hadn’t asked me.”
MC shook their head and sighed, taking a moment to think. They had enough money saved up to buy a hotel and could likely find a job in town if they so choose to. They had friends who they knew would help if they reached out. But… looking back up to Malleus, they couldn’t help but feel drawn. Curious maybe. And on top of that… they did like him. They didn’t know much about Briar Valley, but they could learn.
“Yeah, I’d appreciate that.” They agreed.
Malleus stepped in front of them and turned to face MC. He offered his hand and for a moment MC stared, a bit confused before gently placing their hand in his.
“It’s a bit of an odd sensation. I’ve been told it helps if you close your eyes.” Malleus hummed. They were going to ask what he meant, but as they blinked, they felt as if a wave had pulled them under. It was quick, cold, weightless and heavy all in the span of a second before it was over. Their knees buckled under them, but before they could fall Malleus caught their arm and held them steady.
Blinking a few times to clear their vision, they stared at the intricate marble flooring. The walls around them were gothic, lit by green fire. They found their footing and looked about at the tall looming architecture.
“It sort of looks like your place.” They chuckled.
He nodded, “I suppose I took some inspiration.”
Echoing footfall carried down the hall, a pair of heels clacking as they drew closer, rounding the corner. The same short man they had seen before slid to a halt, staring at Malleus, his eyes like saucers. His gaze fell to them as well, red eyes blown wide in surprise.
“You’re back…” Lilia finally managed, taking a few slow steps further as if in total disbelief. He closed the gap quickly after, floating high enough to be face to face with Malleus. Lilia wrapped his arms around him, “You’re really back!”
“Yes, it seems so,” he agreed, his blasé tone in contrast with how tightly he was holding the man.
Several others began to fill the room, dotted along the walls, murmuring quietly until a booming voice broke above.
“Prince Malleus!” A man with green hair shouted. He was openly crying and came to join them, followed by a more silent figure with long white hair.
The green-haired man was nearly incoherent as he spoke through sobs, though MC could glean that he was happy to see Malleus home safe again. He vowed up and down the walls that he’d die before Malleus was ever cursed again. They also learned his name as Malleus urged Sebek to collect himself. The man with white hair, though also enamored by the prince’s safe return, eventually stared at them.
“Are you the curse-breaker?” He asked.
MC shifted their weight, “I suppose so.”
The man furrowed his brow in confusion, “How do you mean?”
MC took a deep breath, “I mean I am— I guess.” They answered, trying to string their thoughts together, “I… he said I broke the curse but… I didn’t know what the curse was so I wasn’t trying to break a curse. I only learned his name this morning and that he was a prince a few minutes ago...” MC sighed, running their hands through their hair, “I’m sorry, it's been a lot, I’m not sure what to say.”
“I see.” The man began, then bowed his head. “Then I’ll hold my questions until you’ve had a chance to rest.”
MC nodded, sighing their relief.
Offering his hand MC took it, “My name is Silver Vanrouge, I am a knight of the castle. During your stay here I will be happy to offer any guidance. Humans like us are not as common in the Valley so it can be a bit daunting at times.”
Once more MC nodded, “Yeah… Thank you. I’ll definitely have questions.” They answered tiredly. The conversation next to them began to wane and Lilia turned his gaze to them, lowering himself to their height.
“I knew there was something about you.” He hummed, chuckling to himself, “There has to be if you’re sitting in a dragon's nest.”
Malleus cleared his throat. Unlike all the times they had to guess what his expression meant as a dragon, the pink dusting on his cheeks made his embarrassment clear as day. He looked as though he were about to argue, huffing towards Lilia… and it wasn’t that Malleus wasn’t an imposing man— but they couldn’t help but giggle at the huffing. Somehow it came off a bit more serious as a dragon and now was just… kind of cute.
Malleus looked to them and sighed, a smile easily coming to him, his rebuttal forgotten.
“Come now, you must be exhausted.” He hummed, excusing himself with the promise he’d be back soon to explain it all in time. For now however, he guided them through the tall dark halls of the castle to a room far more elegant than they’d known existed. It was far nicer than the Ramshackle dorm though they couldn’t help it feeling a bit empty without their ghosts.
“Do you think I’ll still be allowed to visit the school?” They asked idly, setting their bag down.
“If it’s what you desire I will see it possible.” Malleus hummed as he opened the door to the wardrobe. Several folded linens sat themselves on the nearby table. “If you require anything, do not hesitate to summon the staff.”
MC nodded, though didn’t feel the need to request anything and sat on the bed. The day began to sink in, both the physical tiredness that came with the journey over the mountain and the mental strain to keep up with all that happened.
“It all doesn’t feel real…” MC sighed and a weight settled next to them.
“Strangely enough, I agree.” Malleus hummed, “My friends are all much older than I left them.”
MC nodded, “Are… you going to go back and talk to them?”
“At some point.”
“Oh.” MC nodded. They felt a bit too out of it to say much else. Instead, they leaned against his shoulder, kicking their shoes off and drawing their legs under them. Malleus wrapped his arm around them and pulled them close. He was warm and easy to lean into, safe. It didn’t take long for the fatigue to win them over as they curled closer idly thinking of what their new life would be like.

“Report,” Hastur said, after having gone through all the important motions of formality.
“Erm, not much to report, really. Same old?” Crowley shrugged, cold hands crossed over his chest under his long winter-weight black himation. “But you knew that, right?”
“Lord Beelzebub wants to know what he’s done.”
“The boy? Well, he’s getting close to 11 now so we’ve been working on his reading, writing, elocution, music, arithmetic-”
“No, not the boy. Your master, Lord Asmodeus. What’s he been up to?”
Crowley was taken aback. While he had prepared for this, on a certain level he wasn’t prepared for this at all. “Erm, uh. Nothing really? He doesn’t even bother humans. He just...spends time on his own, unless he’s with me. I suppose if you must know, mostly he's just by himself. Hardly even asks me what I’m up to, really.”
“He hasn’t done anything? Met with anyone from Upstairs?”
Immediately Crowley’s thoughts went to Aziraphale. “Oh no, never. Absolutely not.”
“I thought you knew about the back channel.”
“The back channel?” Crowley blinked. “Ah, yes, the back channel. That back channel. The very excellent, very useful back channel,” the demon bluffed. “That back channel. Sure, I know all about it.”
“He’s told you then.”
“Well, sometimes he does trust me,” Crowley shrugged, leaving the possibility open even as he knew that Asmodeus hardly ever told anyone anything important, especially him. “After all, I have been by his side – so very close to him! – since, you know, uh that time in the past that people don’t like to talk about-”
“Since the Fall,” Hastur intoned in a grave voice. “But you’re sure he hasn’t met with anyone?”
“Not even a human,” Crowley lied with a cheerful certainty. “Why? Is something wrong?”
“No. Yes. Maybe everything.”
“I thought last time you said something about…” and Crowley gestured with both hands, as if gently pushing something or someone off to the side.
“Yes, of course sidelining him is the goal but.” Hastur’s expression darkened. “Are you sure he’s not meeting with anyone else?”
“I’m positive. Absolutely certain,” Crowley lied, as he frantically tried to remember if Asmodeus had said anything about any of this, or had mentioned anything that was related to any of this. “Erm, anything else, your Disgrace?”
“No,” Hastur said, but then paused. “Yes. One more thing. Do you know if he’s in contact with Downstairs?”
“You mean Lord Beelzebub?” Crowley’s brows furrowed in confusion. “Isn’t that something you’d know? I mean, you do take appointments for your Prince just like Ligur does for mine, that’s something someone more important than me would know more about...”
“No, lower. Er, higher. You know.” Hastur gestured, looking uncomfortable. “If he’s been in touch with our dark lord and master.”
“Beelzebub?”
“No, darker. Lorder. Master-er.”
“Oh? Oh. Oh!” Crowley gasped, as he realized what Hastur was trying to insinuate. “Erm, you mean…you want to know if Lord Asmodeus has been in contact with ah...Satan?”
“Yes.” The warty toad that crowned Hastur’s head glared balefully down at Crowley and if it could hiss, Crowley imagined it would. “Do you know anything about that?”
“Ah, erm, well, uh, I didn’t think Satan was talking to anyone. In fact, unless something’s changed, I’m pretty sure Satan’s not talking to anyone...”

TWST Fanfic 'Her Ivory Crown': Chapter 1
Hello everyone!
I'm rebuilding my Tumblr from the ground up so I will be reposting the chapters of my two completed TWST Canon x OC stories on here once again, chapter by chapter~
For anyone unfamiliar with this series of stories I have dubbed the Sacred Crown Chronicles, here is the summary of the introductory story, Her Ivory Crown:
"For the very first time, the students of Night Raven College will be hosting a joint festival on their campus not only with their rivals at Royal Sword Academy but their sister school Sacred Crown Hall, a prestigious all-girls magic school, as well. Tensions were already high but will the lovely and lively girls push the boys' rivalry to a whole new level?? The boys of Heartslabyul especially are on edge when news of the Rose Queendom's crown princess is among NRC's enchanting visitors. For better or worse, this will be a festival no one will soon forget."
I welcome all new readers and encourage those of you who have read these stories to definitely share them and enjoy them again and again :)
Tumblr media
Ch. 1: The Headmaster's Announcement
The Night Raven College rarely witnessed a boring day. Today was no exception. The dorm leaders listened to Crowley explain the upcoming joint school event in a ring of mixed emotions. Some were confused, others intrigued if not excited, and some were annoyed...or perhaps it was just Leona. Not only would they have to put up with seeing their rivals from Royal Sword Academy for a week but also...
"Yes, that is correct!" Crowley said with enthusiasm, "for the very first time, our campus will welcome the students of the top all-girls magical school in the country, Sacred Crown Hall!"
His enthusiasm was met with short, stunned silence before Crowley switched into a more business-like tone, "With that said, I am counting on all of you to keep your dorms in check. Making a good first impression is key! Impressing the prestigious sister school of that pompous-AHEM er-fine Royal Sword Academy certainly calls for the hospitality of a higher caliber!"
"Of course, Headmaster." Riddle respectfully said, blatantly ignoring Kalim's excited outbursts and Idia's anxious rambling across the room.
"Uwaaaah! Scarabia will host an amazing party for them!!" Kalim smiled confidently, already making plans, each more over the top than the one before. Meanwhile, the floating tablet next to him seemed to be having a panic attack. A certain lion could only muster a bored yawn in response. Crowley cleared his throat and continued.
"Now then, they shall arrive the day before the opening of the festival to tour our campus and-"
He proceeded to ramble off more and more details regarding the festival schedule and the like. In the past, Night Raven College would take part in culture, academic, and sports festivals along with their rival school but this year for the first time, they were hosting an all-inclusive event combining activities from previous ones such as academic and research presentations, exhibits from various culture clubs from all three schools, a Magift match, and even a music contest throughout the week. On the final day of the festival, a newly added event was added to the roster: a mixed formal dance between the three schools. This also received a myriad of reactions from the dorm leaders.
"It's bad enough we have to put up with those prissy princes from Royal Sword but now we have to entertain a bunch of stuck-up princesses too?" Leona yawned, "Can't they just dress up and twirl around with those Royal halfwits instead?"
"Kingscholar, you will keep such thoughts to yourself," Crowley sternly scowled at the unimpressed lion, "while not all of the Sacred Crown students hail from royalty, we will be HONORED-"the Headmaster forcibly emphasized-"by the presence of such royals as the newly chosen heir of the Rose Queendom. Whom I am told is the very reason we are even having this dance, to begin with. So again, I cannot stress enough how important it is that no one makes a fool of me-AHEM-the-themselves!"
Riddle visually stiffened at the mention of his homeland's crown princess. Her Highness? Here?! The small crimson head would sooner die than let his dorm out of everyone make utter fools of themselves in the presence of their future queen! The roses must be perfectly saturated! And of course, only the best tea sets and the high-quality tea-but which was her favorite?! But above all else, ball etiquette lessons for the entire dorm are a MUST!! His mind was traveling at light speed, so quickly to the point that Crowley's questions regarding the planning committee's progress went completely unheard.
"Mr. Rosehearts? Are you still with us??" Crowley wasn't sure if he should be annoyed or concerned, judging from the dead-serious yet worried expression on Riddle's face. Riddle suddenly snapped out of it and immediately back into his usual collected poise, "Yes Headmaster, forgive me. I have the reports right here."
As soon as the meeting was finished, Azul turned to the small dorm leader to swap notes regarding the food booths that would be in attendance but Riddle had seemed to vanish immediately.
-
Back at the Heartslabyul dorm, the usual crew was in the gardens tidying up after the last croquet match while Riddle was in his meeting. Cater nearly dropped his phone into the closest teapot when Riddle suddenly appeared in the gardens with a shout, "Everyone stop what you are doing! We're having an emergency meeting IMMEDIATELY!" While it was true that Riddle had lightened up considerably over the year, Trey and Cater both were shocked to see him so...frazzled?? After an intense albeit rushed explanation, the frazzled sensation quickly spread to the rest of Heartslabyul.
"The rose princess is a student at Sacred Crown?! And she's coming HERE?!" Cater temporarily forgot his phone upon this revelation. Deuce and Ace were still stuck on the first detail, however.
"They're letting female students visit Night Raven College?!" Deuce felt his head pounding from all the alarms going off inside his brain. He could barely even make eye contact with ONE normal girl, much less several highly ranked - and no doubt - very attractive girls! Ace was more excited at the thought than nervous. The smirk on his face quickly disappeared under the sharp scowl from Riddle.
"Correct. The students of Sacred Crown Hall are the top female magician students in the country so it stands to reason that Her Highness will not be the only member of high rank in attendance," Riddle paused to carefully stare down each member of Heartslabyul in front of him, "Naturally, I expect every single one of you to be at your very best during the festival. Whether you are participating or just a spectator, it doesn't matter. If anyone from Heartslabyul does ANYTHING to make our visitors uncomfortable, I won't hesitate to use 'Off With Your Head' and assign proper punishments. Is that clear?"
Trey had never seen his juniors in such a frozen state of terror. And that was saying something. Across the waters on a much smaller island offshore, the dorm leaders of Sacred Crown were also fighting to contain themselves under the ethereal gaze of their headmistress. The white-haired fairy godmother turned school administrator spoke in a gentle voice laced with a bit of sternness.
"As you know, my dears, this will be our social debut with the students of Night Raven College. Our brother school, Royal Sword Academy, will be in attendance as well. Therefore, I expect all of you to uphold yourselves and the students of your dorms to the highest standard of Sacred Crown Hall. No funny business, understood?"
A couple of the leaders gave each other mischievous grins as they all chimed sweetly in unison
"Yes, Headmistress."

Hi, I wanted to request a scenario for the dorm leaders separately where him and S/o are dating. Grim comes running to find him and tell him Crowley was sending S/o back to their world. So the dorm leader goes running into Crowley's office and plead S/o to stay in twisted wonderland, telling them how much they love them and admitting they want to get married when they graduate. S/o agrees to stay, but explains that Crowley only gave the option to go back and Grim just assumed they were leaving.
Dorm Leaders + MC's Chance To Leave
So I have to be honest, this was a little challenging for me since I didn't want to repeat the same scenario, so some scenarios turned out a little more angsty than the others, so please be warned of that
Besides that, I had a lot of fun on the reactions of the Dorm Leaders! Please enjoy! Cut for length
"Hoi! Dorm Leader!!"
A furry cat ran up to the Dorm Leader, in full panic as his swishing tail flickered anxiously.
"Listen here!" Grim pawed at the student's feet, the mention of your name catching his attention. "YN's leaving! You have to go and stop her! I overheard her in Crowley's office!"
"…What?"
Malleus Draconia
He summoned as much magic as he could, transporting him to the principal's door and blasting the door open
"YN…!"
He was truly scared, and his fear translated through his own magic as the whole school felt the earthquakes
The draconic fae hugged you tight, his much larger frame engulfing you completely. "YN, please don't go… I don't know what I'd do without you so please…"
"Wait-"
"No, please let me finish," He said, his finger silencing you. "YN, I love you. I love you my dear, more than you'd possibly know. I want to do so much with you. I want to marry you once I was done with school, and I was hoping to take you to the Valley of Thorns!..."
"My Queen, please consider staying with me."
Despite his desperate grip, you patted his head, giggling at the confession.
"Tsunotarou… I'm not going anywhere."
Crowley coughed, "M-My my… What a passionate proclamation of love…"
Malleus was utterly confused, but all he understood was that you weren't leaving him
You explained the whole situation, although you had to tease your precious fae for overreacting
"Tsunotarou~ Should I prepare my wedding dress now?"
The Prince of the Faes has never blushed harder…
Riddle Rosehearts
He hoped he wasn't too late, as he raced down the halls, abandoning every rule he himself established in the dorms
"YN! You're not allowed to leave me!"
His face reddened with rage and despair, anticipating for the worse as he fell to the ground
He felt the familiar touch of you, as you held his cheek
He reached out to you, confessing his worries
"YN, if you really leave me... I don't think I can handle it anymore. You mean so much to me... If you're leaving me, at least know that I love you to the point I want to have a wedding right after graduation!-"
"R-Riddle... you really want to marry me?" You shied away, hiding your face in your hands
"Of course!" He protested. "You're the only one I'd be on my knees for, so please... don't leave."
You couldn't help but let out a laugh at such a serious moment like this. "Riddle... I never planned to. I turned down Crowley's offer. I'm staying here... with you. So don't cry, Riddle."
He felt like an utter idiot for believing Grim
"O-Of course! I'm... Thank you for staying with me, YN."
Kalim Al-Asim
He dropped everything he was doing, racing to the principal's door
Jamil was the unfortunate soul who had to clean up after him
Kalim didn't want to miss you, he just had so much so say to you
When he burst in the room, Crowley protested the sudden interruption
He was quickly silenced by Kalim throwing a pillow at him
"YN! My beautiful Zahra!" He proclaimed, getting on one knee. "My Zahra, will you marry me?"
"W-What?"
"If you marry me this instance, you'd consider not going back!" He cried, the tears soaking his shirt. "YN, I don't… Don't go… What am I supposed to do?"
You wiped away your lover's tears, kissing them away
"Kalim, I never planned to. I'm staying here with you, my sweet prince, even if I can go back," You said, brushing the ends of his hair
"R-Really?"
You nodded, your cheeks warming at the thought of Kalim's sudden proposal. "Y-Yeah… Did you mean to marry me though?"
"YN, I'd propose to you over and over again if that's what you want."
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul snapped, crushing the contract he was preparing for some student that harassed you the other day
He was in denial at first, but he wasn't about to take any chances
If he had to keep you here by a contract, he'd do so
"Crowley! What is the meaning of this?!"
He protectively pulled you into his arms, stating his purpose. "YN, you are not going back," He turned to you. "You don't know if it works! It could be a scam! You're safer with me-"
"Azul, you're-"
"YN," He faced you, bringing his gloved hand under you chin. "Don't underestimate my love for you. If Crowley… If he didn't step in, I'd propose to you by graduation and I'd bring you the Sea to meet my parents and-"
"Azul, my adorable octopus. I didn't agree to go back," You said, setting your boyfriend straight. "I'm not going anytime soon, not away from you that is."
Most would've expected him to be in tears when hearing you were leaving, but Azul was a sobbing mess hearing that you stayed
"R-Really? YN… Thank you, thank you my Angelfish for staying with me…" He sobbed into your shirt, swaying into the hug
"You shouldn't underestimate my love for you either, my future husband."
Idia Shroud
Idia almost broke the game controller in his hands, his jaw agape at Grim
"Extra… You shouldn't be telling me lies…"
Idia, of course had to set out on a quest to reverse the fate of this story!...
He rushed to the den of the wicked, and there the trickster principal was tempting you to go back!
"YN! Don't fall for his schemes!" He cried, his hair of flames burning brighter than before. "I… I won't let you go back home!"
Ortho, at his side, dutifully restrained the crow from retorting anything as Idia tried to convince you to not leave
"YN… Just say anything and I'll give it to you. Just don't go!!" He said. "Is it because you thought I was hiding something from you? If it's that, I'm willing to show you!"
He rustled a paper out of his jacket, unfurling it to reveal a design of a ring…
"Here!" He presented, at this point quite desperate to keep you here. "I-It's the ring I plan to propose you with! It was supposed to be after my graduation, where you could be next to me all the time…"
You cupped the face of your frantic boyfriend, hushing him
"Idia, sweetie, I agreed to stay even before you came," You explained, telling him that you never planned to leave as well how you appreciated his notion of marriage
Idia pulled you into a tight hug, happy that you never gave up on him
"YN, I'll try to make you as happy as I can!"
Leona Kingscholar
To everyone's surprise, Leona's first instinct wasn't a fit of rage. Instead, the second prince went into a burst of tears with hits frustration
"YN… There's no way she would…"
He had to prove himself wrong. He had to
Otherwise he'd might just break then and there
"YN! Where are you?..."
He almost worried if he were too late
He couldn't explain the bloom of relief that swelled in his chest as he saw you still in this world
He grabbed you by the shoulders, unexpected words spilling from his lips
"YN, did I mean nothing to you? Was I nothing when you showed me love?!" He cried out, his tears flowing freely. "Was… Was I even worth it? Was I?"
He sunk to his knees, as he gave up all hope for you to stay
"I wanted to make you mine… I wanted to marry you and live with just the two of us…" He sobbed, his claws digging into his own skin
"Was I that easy to forget?"
He didn't expect the warmth of your hug comforting him. "No Leona," You said, shedding a few tears yourself. "I could never forget you, which is why I chose to stay. I'm never leaving you, not even for my old life."
"YN… you really scared me, y'know?"
Vil Schoenheit
Vil wanted to crush that cat under his heels for bringing such dreadful news to him
He made his way to the principal's room, voicing his very annoyance the moment he barged in
"Principal! How dare you manipulate my sweet potato!"
He cuddled you in his arms, lulling sweet words into your ears in hopes of driving whatever rubbish you had to hear from Crowley
"My sweet potato, I… Please consider staying with me," He said, his hands ghosting over yours. "I… Just let me give everything to you if that's what you want! You can do anything, I just want you…"
You were about to say something, but Vil thought it was a retort of protest
"I had been planning everything for the moment I propose after graduation! I can't let that bird ruin that!" He cried, trying to hear a word of approval from you. "My… My beloved. Please stay with me."
You nodded, bestowing a kiss on your lover
"Vil, I'm flattered," You admitted. "But I was already planning to stay. I could never consider letting you go."
Vil couldn't stop himself from lifting you up and twirling you around. "Oh, my beloved! You're staying with me!" He repeated over and over again, enjoying the giggles that came from your lips
He set you down, realising your furry companion lied to him
"YN, I really want to crush that furball that tails you…"
"Vil!"

Let's say that everyone at NRC knows Yuu is a girl at this point and they're trying to hide it from RSA but surprise! Che'nya knows (cause he always somehow knows) and Neige meets Yuu and now he believes that she is his fated princess, how screwed is NRC?
Very
Yuu’s like a national treasure at this point
The only girl in this all-boy school
Like a princess within a bunch of teenage boys
Anyway
Since Yuu = Princess
That must mean Neige = Prince
Thus, NRC = Villians
And princes always save their princesses from the grasp of the villain
Neige shows up on a horse with some other RSA students (the seven dwarfs)
Proudly declaring he’s gonna save Princess Yuu from the bad guys
Yuu, eating lunch, is very confused
Princess???
The bad guys NRC students are of course very ticked off
And they sure as hell aren’t going to give Yuu up to the rival academy
Hence, magic food fight
Neige takes his temporary retreat due to being outnumbered but swears to come back to save Yuu
“DON’T COME BACK”
shouts, the many many NRC Students
lol nope
Neige comes back the next day with flowers and sweets
cause all girls like those right
But like, good luck on getting those to Yuu through her numerous numerous admirers friends
Everyone cooperates to block neige’s attempt to find Yuu
Some of’em like the old fashioned way of beating people up
Like Deuce
Vil is constantly on edged at seeing Neige so often
Poor vil
fastforward
The news spread among the RSA students
and more people come everyday to be the destined prince that saves the princess from the evil tower
Crowley wants to strangle everyone involved in the rumors

¤°~Ghost Marriage: Lovely Bride To Be?! Part 3°~¤
Previously...
"STOP YOUR STEP!!"
At the end of the hall, Senior Vanrouge and Sebek were conversing with the ghosts knights. "They became angery just because of a mere joke I made about them. Such a bunch of narrow minded ghosts." Lilia jests with ignorance in his tone.
"Ugh, the guys from Diasomnia! Why did you bring these ghosts here?!" Ace yells out in fear. "You naive ghosts who dare to snarl at Lilia. I'll get rid of you guys!" Sebek said with very little amusement.
Present Time..
After the fight with the ghosts. The student's and Headmaster go to the field so ghosts won't bother them. Students who were also kicked out the school stayed at the field. "Ha...haaa. Ugh the sides of my stomach hurt so much." Ace tries to say as he and Deuce groan and grumble in pain.
"Ace, Deuce." A familiar voice spoke. "Ah, Prefect Roseheart!" The two huff out as they nod. Azul and Kalim stood next to Riddle, but Azul looks at the two with confusion. "Where is Prefect (Y/N)? Shouldn't you two be with her?" The prefect of Octavinelle points out.
The A-Deuce combo only shrug. "I think she got mixed up the crowed." Deuce says as he looks at the growing crowd of students. "How did you guys get put here?" Ace asks the three dorm leaders.
"We had gotten chased out by some ghosts that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Even though it was valuable time for the three of us to study together." Kalim responded, while Azul shot him tired glance. "Kalim. Shouldn't it be "valuable time where we teach you about studying."?" Riddle could only sigh and cross his arms. "We almost got Kalim to understand the question..!"
"When we stayed in class, a bunch of ghosts appeared. They chased us out while saying, "this will be the brides fitting room!"" Grim watched as more students came up to them. Telling the same tale. "Everyone who was kicked out from campus has already gathered around..!"
"It seems like the whole campus has been taken away by those ghosts." Deuce said rather calmly. Ace on the other hand was more shocked than calm. "Oi! Principal, what's going on!?"
Before Mr. Crowley could respond, Ortho decided to explain. "I'll be the one to explain. You see, yesterday..." Once the young Shroud told everyone of the events that occurred. Everyone went silent. The only person who spoke after Ortho, was Riddle.
"The ghost groom has been searching for his ideal princess. Then had chosen (Y/N) as his ideal bride... That's the idea, correct?" Riddle revised as his expression was oddly calm. "WHAT!!!!" The group of NRC boys all screamed in anger and fear, a lot of other expression as well.
"We need to save her!!" Ace says immediately after the video was shown. "What will happen to (Y/N) if she does marry the Ghost Groom?!" Deuce asks the principal with fret. Mr. Crowley casted his eyes downward, with a somber voice he said.
"If (Y/N) marries the ghost prince, that is the same meaning of signing a contract. Which will mean, once the wedding is over.. SHE WILL FOLLOW HER SOON-TO-BE-HUSBAND TO THE UNDERWORLD!!!" "EEEEHHH!!!" Everyone yelled out in shock.
Mr. Crowley continues: "I put my guard down because I never would of expected someone who meets the conditions of the prince and his ideal Princess would exist in this world." Headmaster Crowley said with dread in every word he spoke.
"(Y/N)... Is going to be a ghost..!?" Epel gasps out with fear. "We can't let that happen!" Jack gruffs out as he bared his fangs. Many others agreed at helping the female student from her impending doom.
"We need to come up with a plan then!" Ortho tells the group of fired-up teens. "How about we start talking with them? We can throw a party! I bet that the ghosts will definitely let (Y/N) go if we just explain the situation."
The young Al-Asim heir suggested to his fellow peers. Rook nods, agreeing with his classmates. "A truly splendid idea, Roi d'or." A slim smile crepts on Rooks lips, "though..." The huntsman drawls out, his eyes turn a bit narrow.
"Do you think you'll be able to persuade a groom who has been searching for his bride for so long?" Rook crossed his arms over his chest as he continues on. His voice hinting with amusement. "If I was in his place, I'd never let my beloved go."
Leona growls, "so our only option is to just beat those ghost into submission." Vil scoffed at Leona and his idea. "Have you forgotten that we all ran all the way out here because we couldn't do just that." The male model said sassily with a frown gracing his painted lips. "No matter what we did, we couldn't defeat all those ghosts."
The headmaster starts to speak, "they are truly a infuriating opponent to take on. We should avoid confrontation as much as possible." Lilia starts to ponder as Crowley squawked about. "Lord Sam is well versed in the ways of ghosts and things of a spiritual nature. Shall we go see what he has to say on the matter?"
"Lord Sam... Do you mean Sam from the student store?" Deuce questioned the old fae. Lilia hums, "I was acquainted with his great grandfather." Cater starts to laugh dryly. "I still can't tell when you're joking or when your being serious... Lilia."
"Then we must make haste to the student store!" The headmaster yells as he and the others rush to Sam's shop. As soon as the shop door closed, Sam greets them. "Yo, headmaster and little demons. Whay could you be looking for that brought you all here?"
Sam chuckles and shakes his head. "Kidding! I know you're looking for something to deal with that ghost groom, right?" Sam told the group of teens and headmaster. Riddle is perplexed by Sam and his words. "This speeds things up but it sounds like you knew we would end up here."
Sam starts to laugh once more. "My friends on the other side bring me all kinds of info." Soon Sam's voice quickly turns less cheerful. "But things are getting really dicey. Ghost are tied to this world by a really powerful "lingering attachment".
Sam explained more in depth on what he meant. How they still come back because of the "attachment". "And as long is it remains, they'll keep comin' back." Grim felt realization struck him like lightning. "That's why the ghost of Ramshackle keep coming back!"
"Bingo! Precisely. That's why ghosts are so hard to handle." Ortho asked how they can save (Y/N), saying there was no such item like that to get rid of the ghost permanently. Sam grins and says, "IN STOCK NOW!" Azul looks at Sam selection while Leona tsks.
"Groom and brides are especially quick to meet tragedy. So they turn into ghosts all the time." Sam then holds up a item, "to get rid of a ghost groom. You need the "ring of severance." Slide this ring onto the host's left finger while saying "I shall love you till death do us part." And it will forcibly send him to the other side."
"How could (Y/N) give this to him? She's not even here!" Vil said as he picks up the small ring. Crowley gasped as he remembers something about the ghost groom. "Hold on a moment, the ghost groom was a boy who loved a challenge."
"So if one of you asked for (Y/N)'s hand. He'll see it as a duel for her hand in marriage, you don't have to win. But you must be able to give her the ring and tell her what to say." Lilia giggles at the crows plan. "It'll be fun to watch the drama unfold by stealing someone's bride."
"We shall call this plan... "Operation, Lovely Bride To Never Be!"" The headmaster said confidently, "it's a bit long for a name." Ace mutters under his breath. "Now I must decide on who the grooms will be for his plan." Crowley exclaimed as the male students to crowd and shout. "I'll do it!" "Let me do it!" "As if!"
The headmaster started to sweat with nervousness stirring in him. The gleaming eyes of the students were scaring him! It was almost as if each student was ready to take a role as a groom by ANY means necessary. Which it seemed like the students were readying themselves for.
"Alright alright! Will do a vote! I will write down all of your names and put them in my hat. I'll choose four grooms for this operation. So that means four names will be drawn." Mr. Crowley says with a exasperated look on his face.

(Y/N) sat in the far corner of the "fitting room." She held a blank expression as she looks at herself. She wore a beautiful wedding (gown/suit/ect) as her hair was spruced up and was placed into a (loose/ponytail/ect). A (white/gold/silver) tiara with a veil attached to it was on her head. (Y/N) wanted to rip the thing off her, but then the ghost would force the item back onto her head again.
Sighing and cursing under her breath. (Y/N) felt queasy, or maybe it was because she hadn't ate anything yet. This was all happening so fast! (Y/N) did not want to be married to this ghost groom. She hoped that her friends would find a way to get too her before the wedding started.
"Bleh..." The female utters as she looks at her bare feet. A knock was heard on the door as a soft "coming in" was heard. A slim ghost that wore a white suite appears in front of her. He was the nanny of the ghost groom.
"Come, my dear lady. Your fiance is waiting, he needs your help with decorations and would like your words on it." (Y/N) felt herself become stiff, but agrees. Playing along was her better chance of escaping her "wedding". "Of course," (Y/N) said politely as she walks with nanny ghost.
The two reach the cafeteria, now transformed with pretty decorations and tombstones. Along with dark blue flowers and white sheets cover each table. The nanny smiles at his prince with nostalgia. "It seems like only yesterday you were a small child. Trying to find follow your dream and find your dear princess. A dream you lost long ago with your life as well. What a cruel twist of fate." The nanny said as his voice started to crack.
"If only I had arrived at your room faster, I could of helped you escape..." The sweet prince smiles at his caretaker. "It is alright now, know need to bring up the past. Don't let all that stuff bring you down."
The young princes smile never faltered. "Besides, going through all that pain and sadness is what allowed me to meet (Y/N)!" His caretaker could feel his spirits lift at the princes words. "Oh prince Elias, you are always so courageous and strong."
(Y/N) could feel her heart cry at what she heard. She didn't know that... Breathing in a gulp of air, she slowly walks closer to the two. 'It's gonna be okay..' "You did a great job Elias." (Y/N) said as she gives him a small smile.
The ghost groom returns her smile tenfold as he looks at his bride. "My goodness, (Y/N)! You look just as beautiful as a.. Well beautiful than an' undead flower!" Elias said happily, (Y/N) giggles at his childish wording.
"Thanks." The caretaker gives the two a tender look. "You both are just perfect for one another. Prince Elias, we must get you ready before nightfall. You have to look your best for your princess."
The caretaker jests as he pushes the prince out of the cafeteria. "Wha- but I wanted to-!" "No sir, you must get ready. *Sigh* your still a stubborn little boy too." Elias waves at (Y/N), "I shall see you soon, my love!"
Once the two were gone, the ghost soldiers take (Y/N) back to the dressing room. Before the door closed, (Y/N) asks them something. "Can I please have something to eat? I haven't ate in a few hours."
To be continued...
(Okay, part three was supposed to be the end of the series. But that didn't happen, so I'll do my best to make sure part four is the last installment. I really wanna get to work for the Halloween event for Twst and a bunch of other stories I wanna put on this account! But I have to wait until I finish part four. Thanks for reading!)

So this is going to be my attempt to summarize the newest episodes of the ghost marriage event (episode 1 to 13) of twisted wonderland. Part 2
Again, spoiler alert since I’m about to write out everything that happened, and I apologize for my grammar in advance.
The event started with Epel, Ace, Riddle, and Rook’s marriage proposal
In your dorm -> suddenly a lot of ghosts showed up and said this would be the guest room for the princess -> you got kicked out by them -> you went and ask Crowley what is going on -> Crowley explained -> that was the ghost bride, her dream was to find a wonderful prince to marry, but she died before able to fulfill the dream, so now she wonders around twisted wonderland to find her groom, but that would be impossible -> Crowley “since her perfect prince needs to be over 180cm (5ft9) tall, a slim body without any unnecessary fat, clean and beautiful skin, charming smile, shinnying hair, and lips that make you want to kiss them.” -> Crowley “so there’s no way that anyone could fit that description, they just stay in ramshackle for a few days then leave.” -> suddenly Ortho showed up and said his brother is taken away by the ghosts -> Ortho showed you a footage from the security camera
Idia was on his way to buy manga -> the ghost princess showed up and said “I’ve finally found him… my prince!!!” -> the video cuts out -> Grim was surprised since Idia doesn’t feel like a prince at all -> Crowley “tall, slim, pale skin, and a smile… that can’t really be called charming, shinning… more like burning hairs, and his colored lips. If you think of it, he does fit the ghost’s type.” -> there was suddenly a lot of noises outside -> Ace and Deuce was there -> a bunch of ghosts showed up in cafeteria -> you all retreated to the sports field -> Riddle, Azul, and Kalim were also there -> they were studying but the ghost suddenly showed up -> Azul “Kalim, the correct term would be we were ‘teaching’ you right?” -> Riddle “just a little more and Kalim could finally understand the question…!” -> Vil, Rook, and Epel were in the classroom and the ghosts showed up and kicked them out -> Cater was also kicked out of lab room -> Leona was kicked out from hallway -> Ortho explained what happened to all of them -> everyone laughed -> Crowley “It’s no time to laugh! Do you know what it means to be married to a ghost? It means to be together forever with the dead. You will have your soul pulled out and goes to the other world!” -> Ortho “my… my big brother is going to be a ghost? I don’t want that to happen! Please, help my brother!” -> Crowley “of course, I’m sure when their friend is in trouble, all the gentle students here will help Shroud…”
Tumblr media
-> everyone “nope/don’t wanna.” -> (player choice: “what a wonderful harmony” / “you guys only get along with each other in a time like this.”) -> Ortho “why? Everyone lends me your strength!” -> Vil “He normally avoids us as much as possible, and only bother us in a time like this. It’s a little too much.” -> Leona “it’s your own ‘brother’ problem right, just do something yourself.” -> Ortho decided to just do it himself -> he started computer simulation and decided to just use a magic beam to destroy the whole school -> Crowley stopped Ortho and explained to everyone that mass media will soon be on their ass if Shroud disappeared -> Ortho also threatened that if nobody helped, he is going to hack the TV station to remove the mosaic on news and put on “the student that abandoned their friend” instead -> finally everyone agreed to help -> Lilia suggest to ask Sam boy since he knows a lot about the ghost -> Sam said he heard about this from his friends on the other side -> Ortho “is there any item that we can use to solve this…” -> “IN STOCK NOW” -> the ring of extinction -> it can force the ghost to the other world if you put it on her left ring finger while saying “I swear to love you for as long as you are alive.” -> Lilia “so basically, I don’t care if you are dead.” -> but how can we put it on her? -> the only way to do it is to propose her -> Crowley told you to gather all the students he called -> it was Trey, Jack, Jade, Floyd, Leona, Vil, and Sebek -> the plan is to make them propose to the ghost princess -> Riddle “wait a second, I can’t just watch my vice dorm leader do this, I will go too.” -> Crowley “you can’t.” -> Riddle “eh?” ->Crowley “there’s a common trait between all 7 of them, which is... over 180cm in height!!!!!!” -> Riddle “are you saying… that I’m short….!?” ->  Floyd “it’s fine, goldfish is fine as you are now… wait? Where’s little goldfish? Is he gone?” -> Riddle “ha? What do you mean, floy…” -> Floyd “…ah, there you are, you are so tiny that I couldn’t see you down there.”
Tumblr media
Vil “why isn’t Malleus here? Isn’t he pretty tall?” -> Lilia “Malleus is a real prince, if he proposes there is a high chance to success, but even if it’s fake, there’s no way a future king of thorn valley will propose to a ghost, just the fact that he proposed would cause a national problem, so just let it slide and let Sebek do it instead.” -> Leona “hum, saying something so grand, we still don’t know if Malleus would be picked or not.” -> Sebek “Malleus sama is a very handsome man, of course, he will be chosen as the groom! You guys won’t even stand a chance!!!!!!!”  -> Vil and Leona are pretty mad after hearing that and are now determined to do this.
In cafeteria -> Idia is trying his best to scream for help and refuse to marry the princess -> but she won’t listen -> a ghost said 7 people are here to propose to her -> but she said she will refuse them all so Idia can just rest assure here -> Vil started to use his actor skill to act like a prince (change his pronoun from atashi to boku and his way of talking) -> Jack “Vil senpai… can you just lie to someone like that? I think love is supposed to be… more serious. I just, don’t like this con man act…!” -> Vil “too naïve, Jack kun.” -> Jack “Jack ‘kun’!?” -> Vil “this is a competition, to see who can charm the princess first.” -> Leona “disgusting, this is even worse than your normal self.” -> Vil “Leona kun… are you scared that you’ll lose to me?” -> Leona “… hey ghost! Bring the princess out!”
Everyone was brought to the princess -> princess complimented Idia and said how he is her perfect prince ->
Tumblr media
Leona and Vil “I’m definitely better!” -> Jade “those two, completely forgot their goals.” -> princess decided to try and see if they will be her perfect prince -> princess “let’s start with you, the one with a wild style but a cute ear.” -> Leona “Me?” -> she suddenly started singing -> Leona got really confused
Tumblr media
-> she slapped Leona -> princess “I can’t believe it…… To not sing a duet along with the princess!!!! You are not a prince at all!” -> Jack “Leona senpai… he was the only real prince among us though…” -> next is Vil, he passed the singing part perfectly, but then princess asked what is the name of his pet dog -> he doesn’t have one -> Vil got slapped too
Tumblr media
next one up is Jack -> she asked if he knows sword art and how big of a monster have he slain -> Jack “sword? I don’t need something like that, I will use my fist…” -> SLAP
Tumblr media
-> Sebek is next -> she asked if he knows how to play instruments -> Sebek started talking about Malleus nonstop -> SLAP
Tumblr media
-> Trey is next -> She suddenly said “we can’t meet ever again, farewell!” and runs away -> Trey is confused but decided to chase after her -> She “ah, even though I told you we can’t ever meet again! Please, do not confuse me even more” -> Trey “ok it seems like the right choice to chase after her, but what should I do next…” -> Jade “Trey san, you should sing here!” -> Trey “sing!? Now!?” -> Jade “Yes, to create a romantic mood, you have to sing a wonderful song to make her heart melt.” -> Trey “I’m not really good at singing though…! umm…” -> Trey singing “emm, you… your… your veil…. Looks just like a bleached towel… eyes, also, looks like grapes… so juicy~~” -> her “…” -> Trey “…” -> SLAP
Tumblr media
-> Jade “your comparison are a little too peasant, at least say something like your eyes are just like gem stones.” -> Trey “I’m just a high school student? I can’t come up anything like that in this situation!” -> Floyd next -> Floyd “this person just so annoying~~ can I squeeze her?” -> SLAP
Tumblr media
-> Jade’s turn -> He offered her flowers -> Jade “I picked out those flowers myself, I thought you would look great with them.” -> Floyd pointed out those are flowers with strong poison -> Jade “yes, if you just touch them with your barehand, your hand would broke, but it seems like it don’t work with ghosts. I’ve learned.” -> SLAP ->
Tumblr media
Trey “…hey, I just noticed something, to suddenly make someone lived in an all boy boarding school to propose to a princess… isn’t the difficulty a little too high?”
Everyone outside was laughing hard -> Azul, Cater, Deuce, and Lilia decided to help next -> SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP -> Azul talked too much which makes him unbelievable -> Cater treated everything too lightly -> Deuce got too nervous that he couldn’t talk -> Lilia -> Lilia was too cute that she doesn’t want him -> she complained that why is there no good man left in this world and brought Idia out -> Idia “none of you even had any use at all… everyone was slapped and rolling around like an insect… aren’t you supposed to be popular! You always hype around like an idiot, aren’t you embarrassed by this!?” -> everyone is pretty mad after hearing Idia say that -> but the princess was pretty happy so she decided to make the wedding tonight, midnight. -> Idia screamed for help -> Vil “Isn’t this great, someone picked introverted you as their partner.” -> Leona “yeah, now that I think of it you two are really fitting as a couple.” -> Idia “why--!?” -> Jack “of course, we will get mad after hearing what you said.” -> Idia “Azul!! We are friends of the board game club right?” -> Azul “to think that the hikikomori Idia would get married… I’m so touched I think I’m about to cry… congratulation. I will send you some wedding gift.”
Outside -> Ace was still laughing at what happened -> Crowley “it seems like the only thing we can do now is to find back up grooms!”
That was all for now, man this event is hilarious, especially the part where everyone got slapped, so sad that I couldn’t fit in everyone’s slapped face in here

written for suptober 20 day 12: rewind
tags: angst, mcd, sorta hopeful ending?, i didn’t proofread this oops word count: 1.7k
also on archive!
Dean woke up tangled in blankets, Cas’ name dying on his lips. It was dark in the bunker, and quiet too. Sam and Jack were probably still asleep.
He ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. It’d been three days. Only three days. So of course it wasn’t better. Of course he didn’t wake up without his first thought being Cas’ tear-streaked face, without his entire body shaking, without his hand immediately flying to the fresh handprint burn on his shoulder.
He left his room and wandered into the library. He barely got there before he collapsed to the ground, leaning against the bookshelf for support, cradling his head in his hands.
Visions filled his mind. Of Cas in the Empty, all alone, just laying in the dark without his family. He tried to push them back. But he couldn’t. His mind was just, Cas, Cas, Cas. His hands tightened on the sides of his head and he covered his ears as if he could block out his thoughts that way.
After a minute, his mind started to rewind. Slowly at first, taking him back to a few days ago. But before he could dive into that memory his memories flipped all the way back to eleven years ago. It was like he didn’t have control over his mind. Like some cosmic entity was manipulating his thoughts, making him relive it all.
He saw himself in the barn. Saw Cas enter. He looked so different then. He was a warrior of Heaven, an obedient servant of God, the one who had gripped Dean tight and pulled him from perdition.
Then he sees the beautiful room, ornate gold plating catching the light. He sees Cas pushing him against the wall, remembers the mess of emotions that had jolted through him, watches Cas rebel against an archangel, all for him.
He sees himself teaming up with Castiel, teaching him to be more human. Sees Cas risking everything, choosing them again and again. Sees Cas break Naomi’s hold over him, sees him tell them he loves them on his deathbed, sees it all.
Then his mind rewinds again, and he realizes this is definitely not in his control. He starts to see things he never knew happened. Things Cas had never even told him about.
He sees himself, raking leaves outside of Ben and Lisa’s house. He watches Cas stand there, for almost an hour, conflict in his eyes. Then he watches as Crowley appears, and Cas reluctantly turns from Dean. Dean feels a lump in his throat. Cas could have gone to him. He could have helped him. They could have avoided the whole leviathan mess.
Then his mind fast forwards, and he sees a garage with a car covered in a sheet. He watches himself proclaim, “I’d rather have you, cursed or not,” and smiles at the memory before a sharp pain hits him. He’d never get Cas back now, so he wouldn’t have him. Not ever. Then he watches as he goes to the car, uncovering it while Cas stands there in his white hospital clothes. He watches as Cas mouths “I love you, Dean,” before his face grows sad. When the Dean in the memory looks up, Cas is just watching him curiously. Why hadn’t he said it out loud? Why couldn’t he have saved them both the heartache? He knew the answer though. He wasn’t an easy person to love. Confessing would have been terrifying to Cas.
He’s flying through time again before he can do anything. He immediately recognizes Purgatory. Sees the swirling portal that leads back to Earth. Watches as Dean makes it through the portal and Cas stays behind. He watches Cas collapse, not even turning to face the Leviathan tracking them. He hears the angel mutter, “I’m sorry, Dean,” before the memory dissolves before his eyes.
He finds himself in a large warehouse, yellow poles as supports and bright fluorescent lights overhead. When he looks down, his eyes widen in shock. As far as he can see, dead bodies cover the floor. Well, copies of one dead body. His dead body.
A noise draws his attention and he looks up to see Cas standing over a copy of him, his angel blade in his hand.
“Don’t make me do this,” he says. But there’s no fight behind it. It’s totally empty, the words of a man who has no hope left, who’s will has been stripped from him.
He looks to his right and sees Naomi emerge with a cold smile on her face. “Kill him, Castiel.”
“I can’t. Dean doesn’t deserve to die.”
“Love is a human emotion, a human weakness. You’ve fallen too far. This is how we are going to fix you. Can’t you see? You’re being made whole again. You’re being brought back to God.”
Cas looked up at her, his eyes wide, then back down at the fake Dean. The muscles in his jaw tightened and he drove the blade through Dean’s heart.
Dean fought to get out of his own head. He couldn’t keep seeing these memories. They weren’t his. Cas had never told him any of this… why hadn’t he told him any of this? Why hadn’t he told him that he’d killed Dean thousands of times? How had he even resisted when it came to the real Dean?
He was sucked back into his own mind. He fought it this time, tried to ground himself in the library. But he couldn’t. Some outside force was dragging him inside, forcing him to watch these memories. So he did.
He sees Cas bloodied on the floor, an angel blade sticking out of the book next to him. He hears the door to the bunker shut as Dean leaves. He watches as Cas lays there, he isn’t sure for how long. Then he mutters, “I still love you, Dean Winchester. And I’m going to save you.” Dean has to run, he can’t watch this, watch what he’s done. And this time, it works. His mind moves on.
The barn, the house, the blood everywhere, he recognizes it almost immediately. It’s where Cas almost died. Where that prince of Hell had almost slaughtered him. Where Cas had told him that he loved him.
This is after that, though. He watches as Mary and him climb into the Impala and Sam says he’ll drive home with Cas in the truck. Then he finds themself in the truck with them. It’s silent for a while, then Sam clears his throat.
“Look, man, you have to know… Dean, Mom, me--we all love you too.” Dean smiles softly at that. At least someone had told Cas, even if he’d been too much of a coward to say anything, to process what was even happening.
“Thank you,” Cas said, his eyes fixed on the road.
“And Dean,” Sam took a deep breath. “He’ll come around. Someday.” Dean shook his head. How long had Sam known?
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Cas said. But Dean could hear it in his voice. The bitterness, the embarrassment, the hopelessness. And he hated himself. Because Cas had looked right at him. Right at him and said that he loved him. And still he did nothing.
“He just needs time,” Sam continued.
“Sam. Dean heard me. He heard me and he did nothing,” Cas said, dropping his act.
“I know, man. I know. Look, I’m here for you… if you ever want to talk, or anything.” Dean’s heart dropped again. Sam had been there for Cas, even when it should have been him, it could have been him.
“I appreciate it, Sam,” Cas said as the memory began to fade.
Then everything was black. Dark, empty. And in the middle of it all there were two of Cas. No… one of them, that look of hate on his face, that couldn’t be Cas. The cheap imitation of Cas was bent over the real Cas, disgust on his face. With a shock, Dean realized that it was the Shadow, he was in the Empty. He watched as the Shadow sneered, “I know who you love, what you fear. There is nothing for you back there.” He saw Cas’ eye widened, his pain, his longing all clear on his face. Dean wanted to reach out. To scream that he loved him too. That he wouldn’t let him get taken. But it was too late, it was all too late.
He was back in the library then, back cramping from being in this position so long. He slowly peeled his hands from his ears and looked around, fighting back tears. He was back. And Cas was still gone. Cas, who had loved him from the beginning. Had loved him despite everything. Cas, who had finally told him just three days ago, expecting to get nothing back. Cas, who he’d kissed without a second thought, because those words had been too much, had been everything he’d wanted to hear. Cas, who had disappeared in front of him, wrapped in dark shadows.
“Why are you showing me this?” he shouted to the empty library, wincing as the sound echoed slightly around the empty halls of the bunker.
For a minute, everything was quiet. Then he heard a voice in his head, a voice that sent shivers down his spine, a voice dripping with power. Chuck.
“I’m showing you, Dean, because I needed to break you.”
Then his mind was his own again and he slumped back against the shelves. He’d already been broken. He’d lost the love of his life. But this, this was worse. Cas was gone. They would never have a chance at happiness.
He stayed there on the floor until Sam found him. He didn’t answer any of his brother’s questions, just stared blankly at him. Then he stood up shakily.
“He wanted to break me, Sammy.” His brother looked at him in confusion, but he didn’t bother explaining. “He wanted to break me but I won’t let it work. We’re getting Cas back.”
“Okay, Dean,” Sam said, walking toward him. “We have to defeat Chuck for Cas. Maybe then the Empty will-”
“No,” Dean said firmly.
Sam raised an eyebrow and folded his arms, waiting for Dean to go on.
“We’re getting him back.”

GOOD OMENS FANFICTION: A World for Three
PROLOGUE
In a quaint, little bookshop in Soho and a fancy apartment of Mayfair an angel and a demon were living their lives very much the same way they always had. It was a life made of precious and antique books; of plants growing lushly under the pressure of constant death threats; of strolls in the park and dinners at the Ritz. I should correct my previous statement, though, and say that the two were living their lives exactly the way they always should have: together.
While most of their habits and daily activities remained the same, doing all those things together without having to hide or lie to their respective workplaces made them feel altogether new and fulfilling. Aziraphale and Crowley had united to stop the Apocalypse, they had trusted each other and played with fire and had, against all odds, won.
After thousands of years, Aziraphale could now lift his gaze from the book he was reading, comfortably sat in his chair and expect to find Crowley there, on the old, battered couch snoozing peacefully. Crowley could finally extend shyly his open palm across the table as the angel ate his meal and feel the other gently taking it with his free hand. It was, in short, the perfect life for two people on their own side.
Things however weren’t the same everywhere. As a matter of fact, both in Heaven and Hell things had too suddenly changed and far too radically. At the darkest hour of a cloudy and desolate night another demon and another angel met to discuss.
On an empty bench in St.James park a thunder suddenly stroke and from it appeared the Archangel Gabriel. A fly, which was laying around, turned its head and flew up towards the newly arrived. A bunch of flies laying all around all followed at once and came together forming a cloud. The flies seemed to look reproachfully at the angel but his overstretched and fake smile didn’t falter. The flies moved to the archangel’s side on the bench and gave shape to the prince of hell Beelzebub. - ...zzz you are late!- She buzzed with annoyance.
- Very sorry for that, an emergency came up.- Gabriel said slinging a purple scarf around his neck. - Apparently there was a sudden incursion of demons trying to cause havoc in one of our offices.- He continued giving the other a side glance. He pulled out a plastic, food container filled with grimy, disgusting goo and passed it to her. - I believe these agents or whatever remains of them are yours.-
Beelzebub took the container and tossed it away, purposefully missing the trashcan by a few inches. - Not my zzz fault! Those idiots were zzz buzzzzing on their own account. Keeping those rejects from Heaven and demented sinners at bay has become more a pain in the azzz than it ever was.- Gabriel nodded sternly - You have no idea what is going on upstairs. Diligent angels, steady workers which have never done so much as lift their heads off their papers are now...taking coffee breaks!- He shuddered in horror.
- Huh, our coffee machine is alwayzzz flooded with people. Zzz Too bad it drips cold gunk instead of actual coffee...I didn’t even zzz know you had a coffee machine.-  - We don’t. They suspend their work to talk, chat, whisper, gossip. They gather on the sofas and mumble in groups constantly looking over their shoulder, hiding behind the palm branches and decorative plants! That’s the first and wost sign of insubordination.- Beelzebub smirked - That’zzzz how it started the first time zzzz... ooooohhh, I remember it well. Demons aren’t so subtle: you can hear them squabbling a mile away -
- I think I know what they’re talking about.- Gabriel started - How can a demon survive a bath in Holy Water?- - How can zzz an angel step into a pier of Hell Fire and zzz come out unscathed?- continued Beelzebub. - We may have panicked at first but now, thinking about it clearly, I’m pretty sure they cheated, somehow. They helped each other out and escaped our grasp, somehow.- Gabriel said pulling at his collar as he floundered both with his reasoning and his gestures.
Beelzebub got up, stretching her legs. - That izzzzn’t the point! Zzzz Even if they have weaseled their way out of their punishments, we don’t have a clue how they zzz did it or even lezzz ‘why’. Why did an angel and a zzz demon work together? Why risk their necks for each other and this planet? They both had much more to gain by staying in rank, doing azzz told. We’re different typezzz of creaturezzz, oppozzzite. Our kinds do not mesh! -
Gabriel and Beelzebub looked at each other with poorly concealed disgust at the prospect of ‘fraternizing’. - That’s what we’re here to discuss exactly! People are beginning to wonder: is it really impossible to come together? Are we really that different? If Aziraphale and Crowley could, can someone else do the same: Change in the way it appears they did? If God allowed it, were they really wrong at foiling the Great Plan?-
Gabriel said in a final tone, standing up as well, making the ground slightly tremble under his feet. Beelzebub’s flies scrambled around, buzzing with frustrated confusion before aligning her figure again. - Zzzz That’s more than we can afford! We need to shush the commentzzz, kill the theories and the uproar at once zzz!- Gabriel nodded - Reestablish the status quo!- - Zzz but how zzz?-
The two remained in silence for a moment, Gabriel pacing up and down, Beelzebub standing still on the spot burning the grass around her feet. Then, Gabriel spoke up - Things need to be explained in a way that all can understand. A way we see fit.- Beelzebub closed her eyes for a moment and opened them again saying - One of the two needs to change side. Either Crowley ascends or Aziraphale falls.- Gabriel’s smile turned instantly upside down and he moved towards her - How exactly did you reach this conclusion?! How is it in any way a solution? -
Beelzebub grabbed his arrogant mug and pulled him down to her level with anger. With her free hand she sent a wave on the nearby waters of the duck pond and a simplified set of images illustrated her plan. - They have both showed traits that make them more similar to the opposite faction than their own. If one of them bridges the gap it won’t be so strange that they could get in touch with their enemy and it would explain their failed execution: their spirit wasn’t in the right place!-
Gabriel sneaked out of Beelzebub’s grasp and massaging his face considered her words - Yeeees, I can see it now. Poor, unfortunate Crowley: a demon who’s never truly given up his angelic nature and found his way back to the glory of Heaven where he belongs thanks to the guiding force of Aziraphale which saw the light in him and converted him back. Oh goody, There hasn’t been an ascent since the days of Moses and Abel. This way our agent is shown to have done his true duty all along and Heavens scores a victory! I like it!-
- Ooooor, Zzzz Aziraphale wazzz ready to fall and our agent Crowley gave him the final push by tempting him into the greatest act of defiance of all zzz: going against God’zzz plan! The first fall since the Angelic war. - -Yes, well, we’ll consider which version to go with, eventually, but the important thing is that we can agree on how to take action. I believe we have the perfect agent for this mission!- - We’ll contact our own immediately zzz.- said Beelzebub.
Gabriel was already rubbing his hands in anticipation when a bothersome thought crossed his mind - ...You don’t actually intend to take those two back, do you?- - Off course not zzz! They are dangerouzzz and subverzzzive, especially together. We might not know how they escaped their sentence but they do. Let’zzz make them take care of each other. By the time we’re through with them zzz, it’ll be Crowley himself to kill off that chubby, impertinent angel.- - ooor Aziraphale to eliminate that sappy, depressed demon.- -Whatever!- - I’m glad that we agree.- Said Gabriel offering a hand to shake but Beelzebub seemed to have no intention of shaking back.
When Gabriel took sight of how dirty and disgusting her hands were he immediately pulled his own back. - Zzzz What about that ‘other’ matter? Have you seen into it or zzz have you truly come here to try my patience and destroy my sense of smell zzz with that garbage you’ve got on you? UH, what is it?- Beelzebub asked wrinkling her nose. -It’s cologne: ‘Old Spice’.- The angel answered proudly. - It’zzz disgusting!- - Anyway, I did my homework and I think we have the perfect subject. Adam Young proved to be a poor Antichrist but I feel our new, little friend will fare better.-
