!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!

Hey guys I'm awake and well now let's continue (Rook's Dream):

We find ourselves in Savanclaw where we find Savanaclaw Rook and I honestly love him here he looks like a dog I left outside in the rain by accident (affectionate)

Now everone's confused as to why Rook's in Savanaclaw, but then Rook drops the bomb that Vil is in RSA and everyone's like "WHAT?!"

Stop Rook is literally just being the biggest neigevil oshi cuz he just wants Vil and Neige to be besties 😭. He's so open about it too like he's literally geeking about their interviews together to the point that he's squeezing Grim and Epel cuz he got too excited (he's so fr for that honestly). But then Sebek snaps and Rook apologizes because no one in Savanaclaw is a neigevil fan as well :((

But Ortho encourages Rook by wanting to visit his room so that they can learn about Neige and Vil. Grim questions the decision, but that's like the only way they can break Rook out of the dream, and now Rook's just murmuring to himself and how he will introduce them to Vil and Neige

Once they're near Rook's room he literally told them not to barge into his room and the gang did exactly what they're not supposed to do

AND OH MY GOD ROOK'S ROOM IS JUST????

(pov: you're in a neigevil oshi competition but your opponent is rook hunt)

SEBEK THOUGHT THIS WAS A RITUAL ROOM FOR A SECOND AND ROOK IS CURRENTLY LOSING IT 😭😭😭. Apparently Rook has been hiding his hyperfixation for THREE YEARS and he can't just let the group go...until they watch DVDs of neigevil interactions

This went on for five hours and Rook was gushing, sobbing and crying over it, Silver actually slept for the first time in the realm of dreams because of this 💀. Before the group leaves, Epel couldn't help but ask Rook if he still remembers what happened during VDC, an d Rook mentions that he remembers that Vil and Neige performed "Yahoo, Yahoo" together.

The group meets again with Idia, and they're discussing the events of Book 5, and how the entire incident during VDC might have been the root cause for Rook's dream to turn out like this. Because in this dream, Rook never transfers to Pomefiore because Vil was never in NRC to begin with. Rook was most likely haunted by that incident because he trusted Vil so much, that he'd rather have Vil and Neige be friends instead of rivals to prevent the whole overblot situation

SO NOW THE GANG IS THINKING OF A WAY TO WAKE UP ROOK BY PERFORMING ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

(I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE WHOLE THING YA'LL TO WHOEVER HAS A LINK TO THE RHYTHMIC PLS SEND IT TO MEEEEEE)

But their positions are the following: Vil - Epel Jamil - Ortho Epel - Sebek Kalim - Yuu Ace - Grim Deuce - Silver

Basically Epel had to teach the others the entire choreography of Absolutely Beautiful and he said it's fine if they don't perfect it because in the original they weren't able to perfect it as well. But then everything suddenly goes blurry and we get dream Vil and dream Neige suddenly performing "Yahoo, Yahoo", and now Rook is back to being an oshi again.

But Epel wasn't having it, he points out to Rook that the real Vil looks more sinister and had a more sharper look to him and that he was more poisonous and beautiful. That's when Epel told Rook that he was a far worse traitor back when he voted for RSA if he tells the words that Vil wanted to hear to the fakes.

That wakes Rook up, he remembers everything now because he was wondering why he cried during their Absolutely Beautiful performance. Idia then gives Rook the "invite" to join them as well. Rook changes clothes and fights

Btw I just wanna show you guys his groovy here because it's that special to me

Idia was laughing because he now has a video of Sebek dancing and Sebek is just yelling at him that he won't forgive him if he showed it to anyone.

Surprisingly Rook mastered thew magical girl transformation faster than the gang, but they're learning. Rook also tags along with the gang to save the last person, Vil

Epel Facts Part 17: Epel and Pomefiore (pt1)

Epel has many lines about how he would rather be in Savanaclaw, “where all the rough and tough guys are,” telling Vil directly that he never wanted to be in Pomefiore to start with. 

This seems to be well known at the school, with Floyd making Epel select a different dorm than Savanaclaw during his birthday interview for being too predictable.

Epel also tells Trey that he is jealous of his build, as everyone in Savanaclaw is tough and cool and Trey would probably look great in their uniform.

On his first night at NRC Epel tells Rook that him being in Pomefiore must have have ben a mistake, but Rook insists that Epel’s soul was made for Pomefiore.

Epel says that the things Rook says barely make sense to him despite how he, too, is in Pomefiore. 

When Ace says that Pomefiore guys are all weirdos Epel respond, “All? Let’s take it easy now,” but he also has a line about most of the upperclassmen of his dorm being weird.

Epel says that Ramshackle dorm seems great as the prefect gets to fly solo and be totally free.

We get a few glimpses into life at Pomefiore through Epel who says they must go to bed at 10pm, and the whole dorm has to practice runway walking.

Epel says that one might think that everyone in Pomefiore is incredibly vain, “but it’s not like that at all. The housewarden’s…special.”

Epel is also displeased with Pomefiore’s emphasis on manners, as he came to NRC “to become a strong, cool mage. But not the dorm I’m in is full of pushy people who only care about appearances. They’re gonna make me into the exact opposite of the man I want to be!”

Epel is very big on revitalizing his hometown, and one of his goals to accomplish this is doing more chemistry studies at the school.

He makes the connection between the future of his village and Pomefiore in a vignette, saying, “If I hadn’t joined Pomefiore, I might never have taken an interest in potionology.” 

Epel explains that he does respect the Fairest Queen, but he has trouble with how Pomefiore places emphasis on speech, manners, eating balanced meals, wearing a flowy uniform and following hair and skincare routines.

“But despite all that, being in Pomefiore has helped me learn a lot more about chemistry…So if I focus on studying chemistry more, maybe I could learn to brew potions that prevent tree blight or attract honeybees. If I could pull that off, it’d make life easier for everyone in town, and it’d help Harveston grow. Now that I’ve figured out my goal, I’ve start to feel okay with Pomefiore in general. But I still wanna be in Savanaclaw!”

Ranking the TWST boys on how accurate they are to actual teenage guys

(Basing this on my experience with teenage guys in Germany, as a fellow teen)

Heartslabyul:

Riddle: 4/10 sure, mommy issues, but I have never met a teen act that serious when away from home

Ace: 9/10 pretty accurate, but he should be getting a bit more bullied, he needs a ruthless roasting

Deuce: 9/10, just a guy, minus point because of the haircut.

Cater: 8/10 most don't care that much about social media, he's more like a Cally influencer, not a regular teen

Trey: 5/10 a guy, but that fedora ruins everything

Savanaclaw:

Leona: 0/10 not a teen.

Jack: 7/10 his muscles aren't even that unrealistic, I have guys bulit like that in my school, it's the being kind and respectful

Ruggie: 9/10 the smugness, the scheming, it's all perfect, but he's a bit too willing to listen to a 20 year old man

Octavinelle:

Azul: 3/10 no teenager is so skilled at scheming and so on top of everything, unrealistic expectations

Jade: 4/10 way too serious and professional and would be a 0 but the height and scary factor give him a good boost

Floyd: 8/10 he's funny, he's weird, he's moody, he's built like a tree, he would be a perfect but minus for the occasional fedora

Scarabia:

Kalim: 10/10 he's fun, he's light-hearted, he has friends and hobbies, he just wants to party

Jamil: 9/10 he's just a guy, but a little too pretty for average teen guys

Pomefiore:

Vil: 0/10 not realistic at all for a realistic teen guy.

Rook: 2/10 he used to be more realistic when in savanclaw, but now he's too yassified

Epel: 8/10 he would definitely be into looks-maxxing, just cut your hair if you don't wanna look so femine!! Such a simple solution omg! just get a fade!!

Ignihyde:

Idia: 10/10 he's the average guy, the gaming, the awkwardness, and the devious plan

Ortho: 0/10 he's a robot child, not even a teen, not very realistic

Diasomnia:

Malleus: 0/10 not a teen.

Silver: 3/10 teens aren't even half as serious about anything as he about being a guard

Sebek: 1/10 Same as Silver but 10x as intense, not realistic

Lilia: 0/10, would be a 7/10 but he's not a teen, he's older than the US by 453 years!!

ACE: "Ugh, these two can't go three minutes without going to smoochville. Deuce is almost never alone at this point and they're hella annoying! Trying to get them together was a pain in the ass... that said, they're kinda cute, and I'm glad Allen's able to turn Deucey into less of a loser."

RIDDLE: "I have witnessed a fair share of unpleasant, inappropriate happenings because of these two... But Allen has managed to help Deuce with his grades a whole lot, which I'm grateful for. They're good in my books as long as they refrain from kissing in public areas at Heartslabyul."

CATER: "Ooh, Deucey and Lenny! Took them wayyyyy too long to get together. It was pretty obvious since day one that Deuce couldn't keep his eyes off of Allen, and watching those two be so oblivious was a painnn!"

Saw AU ask time! I know for our fics all the Twisted Wonderland housewardens are Jigsaw apprentices, but if they weren't...

Which dorms would remain Jigsaw apprentices and which would be part of the law enforcement? Why?

This is such a fun concept! I love it. Also, asking me to make an AU of our AU? AU-ception? Mwahahahahaha. So basically, I treated this as "everything is the same except they have a bit more trust/faith in the ability of the law".

Took me a while to think on my answers, but here is what I think:

Heartslaybul:

Law enforcement. And yes, it's because of Riddle's obsession with following rules. See, to me, there's two ways it can go for Riddle: he "learns his lesson" from the trap and agrees with it (which will happen in our current au, though I won't go into details so I don't spoil my plans for his trap flash-backs), OR he survives and is filled with so much seething rage that he dedicates his life to finding and destroying Jigsaw and all the apprentices. Which he decides he should do by pursuing a career in law because he wants to make sure the entirety of the punishment rests on them and he suffers no further repercussions. Ace and Deuce would probably follow him loyally, and Cater would make an interesting private detective in my mind. I do think if Riddle chose the side of the law rather than the side of murder, Trey might have actually joined him and the others, instead of just being distanced from the murders and turning a blind eye.

Savanaclaw:

Law enforcement. As it stands right now, in the Savanaclaw murder fic I kind of revealed part of Leona's motive for joining Jigsaw was to protect Ruggie (because in their trap, I made Ruggie suffer the most...sorry, but if Ruggie didn't want that then I guess he shouldn't have become my favourite Savanaclaw member...). I think if there was a guarantee of Ruggie's safety without compromising his freedom, Leona would grab it and I could see him turning to law enforcement as the way to secure this. Jack is easily convinced to follow the law. Ruggie may be ok with underhanded means, but he wouldn't directly oppose Leona in this matter, and I think considering he was in the trap he would be easy to persuade to join the side of the law.

Octavinelle:

Murder. Let's be real. These three? Honestly if John didn't get to them first they probably would have started murdering on their own at some point. (Jade would have for sure.) Let's just be glad they're being directed in a way so as to try and use their scary mafia-like problem-solving for the "greater good". Sort of.

Scarabia:

Law enforcement. Kalim doesn't like the murders even in our actual au. If we gave him more of an option, he would turn to law enforcement. Jamil would be the one more likely to turn to the murder. However, he can't so boldly oppose Kalim and there's no way he'd be able to keep it a secret without going crazy, and considering what's happened in the past he will not be risking overblotting again. Though, if we wanna entertain that for a moment: Jamil is the only one I could think of who might think about committing murder when his housewarden is on the side of the law. I doubt he would actually join Jigsaw without Kalim, though.

Pomefiore:

Law enforcement. Vil may have it in him to try and murder (at least, in regard to Neige), but he also has An Image. One that he has worked damn hard to build up. He also is in possession of a conscience and a rather strict moral code (see book 6 where he scolds Rook for abandoning his duties before he tells him that personally he is still glad he came for him). I think that if he had the choice between murder and law enforcement, he'd try his best to work within the law. (not that we gave him that choice...) Rook isn't going to go against his beloved Vil in such a brazen way, and I don't think murder would actually be Epel's first choice either.

Ignihyde:

Murder. Idia may try his best to fit in for the people he cares about, but for average joe's on the street who behave nasty toward others? Why would he give a fuck if they died? Plus, while he's got self-esteem issues, he also has a massive fucking ego when it comes to tech and games. He's not gonna give up the chance to experience the thrill and power trip from having someone trapped in a device of his own design. Also, he really strikes me as the type to be like "well, it was done to me so I'll pass it on because I'm still bitter and pissed over having experienced this misfortune" (I still adore him though). Ortho wouldn't dream of trying to stop him. Oh, and I think Idia is arrogant enough that he would think it's impossible for anyone to actually catch him.

Diasomnia:

Murder. We already established why Malleus's motive is really different from everyone else's. He's not gonna turn to the law because the law hasn't been able to stop Jigsaw yet, and also Jigsaw is literally dealing with people the law either isn't effective in managing or can't catch. Malleus wants both to make this world safer for Yuu and to understand John's logic and methods. He's got curiousity for days. And that's not gonna be satisfied from working within the law. After all, I firmly believe that at some point Lilia would have told him that "experience is the best teacher". Of course the rest of the Diasomnia boys will follow his lead.

Quick question for your Pokemon AU, you mentioned a few champions but how would the boys react meetinf the other champions-both current (depending on game) and past? I really think the Pomefiore dorm would like Wallace and Diasomnia would like Iris and Lance.

I'm going to pair up a dorm with a champion I think would fit and just go from there.

Imagine if Heartslabyul met Blue and Red. Those two were champions and they would most likely impress the boys.

They became champions at such a young age? Wow!

Though the seniors look between the champions and ADeuce and just see a mirror image. Of course, Ace woul protest that he was not THAT cocky!

Alder with Savanaclaw would be like a grandpa that can sumo wrestle you. Though Leona would have to be convinced to et along with lder because he looks like Farena with his cheerful personality and bright red hair.

But Alder would be more supportive of Leona, though the tsundere cat would try to deny his friendly interactions.

Octavinelle would have a field day talking to Steven. He's kind of like Azul's look-alike but less greedy. He'd talk all about rocks and Azul wuld talk all about coins.

The Leech twins would feel like they're looking at two Azuls and they think it's amusing though also a bit weird.

Cynthia would love to know the history of the Great Seven but there were also a lot of things to discover from Scarabia dorm. It did mention the great Sorcerer has built unique inventions.

Kalim would be so amazed by Cynthia and how strong she is. Jamil would also be amzed but can't help that something tells him that Cynthia is basically someone you don't wanna make your enemy.

The Gen 4 kids shudder in fear.

Wallace and Diantha would have Pomefiore thinking that they have been graced with a god and goddess. Diantha being an actress would hav Vil wanting to know about her history in the film industry.

She still looks immaculate even as years pass by.

Wallace has flair on pageants/contests and would totally put on a show for Pomefiore. Rook and him would get along well.

Epel just wanting to get away because they have doubled. Seven help him ahahah.

Imagine Peony, beging such a supportive dad and always tagging Idia and Ortho into adventures. He's ready to support them and encourage them espite Idia wanting to go back into his safe place.

Ortho would enjoy Peony's company, and he thinks of him as Vargas but more of a dad vibe.

Lance and Iris at Diasomnia. Malleus wants to know of their history of Dragons. He's like a little kid who wants to hear stories, he might also internally squeal when he sees their Pokemon. Such powerful dragons!

Imagine Lance's Dragonite cradling Silver though! So cute!

Twisted Wonderland: A Thanksgiving Fiasco

A/N: I just wanted to write this explosion of chaos for everyone to see.

Notes: GN reader! Cursing, explicit language, yelling.

Inspired by: Don’t experiment on Thanksgiving

Every single one of Yuu’s friends gathered at Ramshackle for the Thanksgiving feast. The dorm heads set it up so that each dorm brought a dish. Diasomnia wasn’t exempt from this rule. Heartslabyul brought cranberry jam, Savanaclaw brought Cajun seasoned turkey, Octavinelle brought various desserts, Scarabia had brought Jamil’s signature teas along with other drinks. Pomefiore had brought green beans, Ignihyde brought grapes and a cheeseboard. Diasomnia was left with the most important dish of all, the Mac n cheese.

The ghosts and a couple of Yuu’s friends set up the food stations, then they began to feast. Their friends were gathered around them, eating peacefully until Azul had taken a bite of the Mac n Cheese.

“Why does this taste so eggy?” Azul says, spitting out the Mac n Cheese in his napkin.

“I followed a recipe on that clock app…what’s it called?” Lilia recalls, trying to remember the recipe.

“TikTak.” Silver answers.

“Yes, that’s it. The recipe I followed called for 12 eggs in the Mac n Cheese.”

Azul drops his silverware, and the Leech brothers go silent.

“You what?” Azul questions, growing irritated. “Why didn’t you ask for help with the Macaroni and Cheese?!”

“I didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to be like that.” Lilia replies, keeping his childishly calm demeanor.

“Father, don’t lie. You’ve cooked me Mac n Cheese plenty of times during my childhood.” Silver says, getting more greens. “Besides, I told-we told you not to put that in the Mac n Cheese.

“Now we don’t have Macaroni and Cheese, cause you decided to do some bullshittery you’ve seen off of the internet!” Azul yells, surprising everyone at the table.

Yuu pours themselves some apple cider and sips on it.

I can’t help Lilia out of this one.

“Azul, I really don’t think it’s a big deal-“

“Don’t experiment on thanksgiving! Don’t experiment on no damn thanksgiving!” Azul yells, slamming his cup on the wooden table.

“Azul!”

“You experiment by your damn self!”

“I was just trying to think of something everyone would like-“

“Don’t try it with us! We don’t want that shit!”

I better stop this shit before it gets too far.

“Azul, it’s fine. We can eat other things at this table besides mac n cheese,” Yuu says, putting down their glass of cider.

“Jamil gave you the recipe! But you chose to do that shittery alone!” Azul continues, not paying attention to Yuu. “Messed our shit up!”

Azul leaves the room grumbling in Italian. Everyone laughs and they continue to eat as Azul sulks outside. After 10 minutes, he walks back into Ramshackle and joins the table once again. The five second peace is interrupted by Lilia’s actions once again.

“So, Yuu, when are your friends from RSA coming?” Lilia asks, sipping on wine.

The room goes silent and everyone stares at Yuu.

“Father, I think you’ve had enough wine,” Silver says, trying to take the wine away.

“Oh don’t worry, I feel quite fine,” Lilia responds, moving the wine glass away from Silver. “Besides, I’m excited to see where this is going.”

The door to Ramshackle opens at Prince Rielle, Neige, and Che’nya walk in.

Oh no…

“Hi, Yuu! Thanks for inviting us to thanksgiving!” Neige greets, kissing both of Yuu’s cheeks.

On the next Arrested Development

“Uh oh,” Lilia says, sipping on a bottle of red wine.

“Che’nya run!” Riddle and Trey scream, looking at their friend.

Every boy except Diasomnia, Ignihyde, Riddle, Trey, Jade, and Epel get up from the table chasing after the RSA guests.

Yuu sighs and gets up to throw their plate in the trash.

“Y’all wanna help with Christmas decorations?” Yuu asks, giving Grim a hug.

The boys inside Ramshackle follow Yuu to the active and begin the transition into Christmas time. Of course, in the midst of this chaos, Malleus was the most happy as he finally got invited to something. Not only that, but he got invited to do something with Yuu immediately afterwards.

I'm kinda a writer (I haven't released anything like fanfic, but I want to!) and, in my style, I like to describe little mannerisms and stims. So, I was thinking, how would I write the twst characters? More specifically, how do I think they'd stim?

This is coming from a neurotypical perspective based on my own stims, but you're free to comment your own!!

Heartslabyul:

Riddle: Now, I think Riddle would be pretty secretive about his stims. He might clench his jaw or something, especially before his character development. Afterwards, he might be more open. He probably analyzes his hands, feeling the bones and tendons. Perhaps rotating his arms and stuff. Maybe something with writing as well? Idk if it counts as stimming, but I'm fascinated by watching ink come out of a pen or graphite dispensing onto paper. But I think he'd enjoy handwriting things and keeps a journal for it :D

Ace: I think he's kind of restless and just wants to be in motion. He'll probably bounce his leg or fidget with something (like his magical pen).

Deuce: This man is always cracking his knuckles. He's just about figured out how to pop every joint in his body. Ace always judges him for it. Like Riddle, I think he messes with his hands a lot (from tending to hand injuries as a delinquent). He probably runs his hands over his hair and bites his cheek.

Cater: He canonically fiddles with his hair! I'm a big hair stimmer, so, what I do, is wrap it around my fingers and pull it around with my thumb and re-wrap it. It's kinda hard to describe. He probably fidgets with his phone case as well.

Trey: Idk Trey too well and I can't think of my own stims to give him.

Savanaclaw:

Leona: If lions are like cats, then he probably grooms himself by running his hands through his hair. He probably scratches things as well.

Jack: Could tail wagging count as a stim? I'm only half-joking. Like Trey, I don't know too much about Jack, and I can't think of anything to give him.

Ruggie: I think he'd stim with his feet. He'd probably shake his feet and stack them on top of each other LSKD Idk how to describe it.

Octavinelle:

Azul: This man... He gets my hair pulling LKSJF. Idk if hair pulling is always trichotillomania, but I don't think it is (for me, at least). I would've given this to Riddle, but I don't think he touches his face a lot. For me, I'll pull my eyelashes and eyebrows. I don't think Azul would pull his head-hair out unless he's particularly stressed (I imagine this isn't uncommon with the tweels, tbh).

Jade: .....I don't wanna know D: /j I have no ideas.

Floyd: Squeezing, ofc. No other ideas, though.

Scarabia:

Kalim: I think dancing counts, kinda! He's probably not break-dancing every time he gets excited, but I think he vibes to imaginary music.

Jamil: He's probably more reserved than Kalim, but I think he dances a little, too. He probably fidgets with his hair and the accessories in it!!

Pomefiore:

Vil: Nail care, or something. I think it started as nail-biting and picking at his skin, but he turned it around! Maybe some other grooming habits.

Rook: Man, idfk. Yapping? /j Probably humming or something!!

Epel: I think he's like Ace and constantly wants to move, but is a little restricted by Vil. I like to think Vil redirects it instead of fully shutting it down, but likely not :(

Ignihyde:

Idia: He probably drums his fingers or something (from playing rhythm games). Like Cater, he'll fidget with his phone/tablet case. I also think he likes pushing buttons (in a literal way) since he uses keyboards a lot!! Since he likes cats, I think he likes petting things and running his hands over them.

Ortho: He's a robot :( But, after Book 6, maybe he'd gain a few stims? I think he'd mimic the stims he sees.

Diasomnia (My boys!!):

Malleus: I think he's pretty reserved. I can't think of any canonical fidgeting, so he probably bites his cheeks and stuff. Ik he's said he gets uncomfortable in unfamiliar clothes, so maybe he messes with his clothes, too? Like, making sure his gloves are in place and smoothing down his jacket.

Silver: He probably touches his hair or rubs his eyes.

Sebek: He wants to bite shit (same). He'll nibble on his pens, his nails, his cheeks, etc. He tries not to in front of others, though.

Lilia: I think he hums! As well as all the above /j Meeting past Lilia kinda throws a monkey-wrench into my ideas since they have to survive his development. Actually, he might be like Idia. Except he pets his children's hair. That's an adorable thought LSKJD
