Something about human, non-powered superheroes. Something about living in a world with gods and aliens and speedsters and making the choice to stand beside them. Something about being painfully aware of your own mortality but choosing to keep fighting for good. Something about knowing that most of your teammates could do takes you days in seconds and deciding "no, if I can help even the slightest bit, I must". Something about pushing yourself to your limits and beyond so that you can stand up against evils so much greater than yourself and face them without hesitation. Something about having the choice to live a normal life- it's not your birthright, it's not some greater fate, you have every option to keep yourself safe- and saying no. Something.

Ignoring canon heights for characters, here’s what I want some of their heights to be:

Clark Kent: Exactly one inch taller than Bruce Wayne (Batman is one and a half inches taller than Bruce Wayne for….secret identity….reasons……)

Oliver Queen: One inch shorter than Bruce Wayne

Adult Damian Wayne: Precisely one half inch shorter than Jason Todd. It doesn’t even matter what shoes he wears; Jason is consistently a half inch taller than him at any measurement and it drives him insane.

Tim Drake: 5’8”

Stephanie Brown: 5’9”

Cassandra Cain: 5’6”

Duke Thomas: 6’0”

Dick Grayson: 5’11 3/4”

Wally West: 6’2”

Roy Harper: 6’2”

Donna Troy: 6’2”

HE WOULD. He totally would!! And it would be a truly menacing threat.

Oh, Gotham’s youngest crime boss and vigilante murderer is looking at your hands like they’re next on the chopping block? Why is he honing THAT specific knife on a whetstone that looks older than god? Why is no one saying anything??

(Bruce ignores Jason’s presence and continues the meeting. Oliver turns pleading eyes on Clark, who’s too busy thinking about hands and bones all of a sudden and hey, is that a fresh break in Bruce’s left metacarpal—)
