It was once more time for a holiday

NRC was prepared to host a few attractions and to have family members visit for a day or two

Apparently, Trey had once invited you to meet his family after you showed interest in his siblings and the bakery. In the Queendom you had gone on a walk in the forest, slipped and twisted your ankle so badly that you couldn't walk anymore. Luckily Riddles mother came by (for some reason) and helped you, being a doctor and all

Now, lady is of course no idiot so after her son had asked her that question she was just a new addition to the garden as a statue

Riddle was terrified that you saw the polite yet also arrogant way his mother spoke to you in the past as something rude

Now, you were of course not the biggest fan of her but at least she healed you back then

Once you are gone, running off to Pomefiore to help over there, Riddle had a talk with his mother

Usually he would show her respect but today it was like the roles were reversed

Ah yes, Epels sweet sweet granny could of course not miss her beloved grandson

She even prepared some cake and other delicious treats for him. How sweet!

So when perfection themselves, the Overseer, suddenly marched over after they spotted a familiar mop of light lilac hair he nearly had a heart attack

But instead of his Granny being surprised she just said a nice hello, that it was good to see you again and how things had been since you had seen each other

Why did his granny know the Overseer? Why did his granny know God?

Now Epel couldn't of course ask that later part, considering that his villages view on you was in comparison rather... yeah let's call it “extreme”

Turns out he had forgotten something when he visited Harveston the last time and you brought it to him, only for you to meet his Grandmother before you ran into him. Giving her what he forgot the two of you had a nice little talk before you left

And this is the point when Epel felt like he was ready to bash his head against the wall

Vil must have noticed a short in Epels mood because the model just threw him a very poisonous look

So here Eprl was, standing like a lost little child between his Granny and f-ing God whilst the two of you had a nice little chat about the weather

When you finally said goodbye to the two, running off to Diasomnia because you were invited for tea, Epel was juts like “Granny, we need to talk.”

Say goodbye to your apple-free days because after that talk, there will be boxes of so-called “offerings” in front of your door. Every. Single. Day.

“Granny, don't be too shocked but you met God.” “Hoho, what are you talking about?” “...” “Oh...”

For the rest of the day her legs were so shaky that Epel was afraid for her health

How she didn't recognize you the first time you two met is a wonder considering that she has that sixth sense every Fae has that tingles even when you are being simply mentioned

But today is a great day, Malleus grandmother came over to visit her grandson, a rare day of rest for her

Vil

He's glad that you're extremely responsible but at the same time feels bad for you because you're constantly having to babysit your friends haha

Vil is the type of person to notice when you get tired or stressed really quickly, so even if you aren't completely burned out he'll make you do a self-care day with him

I feel like he liked you because of how you were protective of your friends from danger and you had no problem dealing with your friends' antics. If he was in your position he knows he would've had a headache 24/7, so he admires you

I feel like a lot of students would be scared of the two of you because of how strong you seem, but what sets you apart from Vil is how you're able to still be extremely kind and caring (not saying Vil isn't, he's just bad at showing it). He likes the sweet side of you that shows up from time to time

Epel

He was at odds with you first when you told him what he was doing was dangerous and things like that. However, after you two got closer, he realized that you weren't just a "no-fun" person and rather you cared a lot about the people you cared

Definitely tried to make you do some daring things while you two go on dates. While yes being a mom-friend does mean you are prone to saying "that's dangerous you're going to lose an arm" you aren't the type to say no when it comes to something new. I feel like it's a nice balance of safe and fun

You probably saved him from Vil a few times, mainly with him asking you to talk to him with you since Vil is such a scary person haha

Overall he likes that you're super caring and that you sometimes help him adjust to Pomefiore's rules. He wants to be someone people can rely on as well, and so you're sort of a role-model to him too

Azul

I feel like he tried to recruit you into the Monstro Lounge when he found out how efficient you are and how you're super good at catching details. However, he was scared of you a little bit because of how you were able to spot his more manipulative side extremely quickly unlike most students

I feel like once you two get to know each other, he sort of finds comfort in you unlike the comfort he's ever felt after mastering spells and such. You make him feel like he doesn't have to be perfect around you, and he admires how you are able to show kindness to everyone

You two are probably the reason the lounge is extremely well-organized. Whenever something slightly goes wrong, every Octavinelle student working there will come running to you before running to Azul now haha

When he saw how you were like around the first years, I feel like he could sympathize. He's had to manage so many different kinds of people through contracts, but for you it was like you were saving them from fire 24/7

Jamil

Ace joked that you two were going to date because of how similar you two were, turns out it's not a joke anymore!

Jamil and you first got close after taking care of Kalim's antics and then his friends (which were also your friends) and their shenanigans. Jamil and you often joked about how you two were like the parents of the group

Even though he's stressed out of his mind, he goes out of his way to make sure you aren't fatigued. If you need anything from him, whether it would be a cup of tea or just some time to read, he's there to help. I feel like he would almost be a mom-friend to you too haha

Overall you two are literally nicknamed "mom" and "dad" by students because you two sort of act like that haha. I think what Jamil would admire the most about you would be how even though you're strict and aren't scared to face danger, it's because you care about your friends and want the best for them

When Riddle saw his tsum tsum version falling in the sky he thought it was cute.

He thought of it that he wanted to show this little creature to you, once he went toward the courtyard where you’re talking with Crowley and a problem occurred with a broken window in the cafeteria — he saw Crowley with an angry face on his face. He thought to himself that Y/N got in trouble so he went there.

 He could see his tsum tsum version get all calm and then kinda look as if there was an angry expression.

Once Riddle went where you were, his tsum tsum jumped out from his arms and went towards you.

He realized that you were having a bad today, so this is the reason why his tsum tsum jumped out from him and he wanted to comfort you, but his tsum tsum comforted you first by jumping on you in the head.

Suddenly you found a little creature that looked like your boyfriend and the little creature jumped a lot into your head, making it kind of better.

Riddle came in time to see his tsum tsum counterpart playing and making Y/N better, but why did he feel kind of...jealous of this tiny creature?

No way could he feel this way? It's a cute toy-like creature mini version of himself and yet...he feels jealous?

Riddle asks you if you're feeling alright and if there's anything for you that you need, before you could answer, tsum tsum Riddle snuggles your cheeks and out of nowhere pulls a candy pop rose shape as they give it to you.

Of course, you kindly accept the candy and tsum tsum Riddle jumps happily when you accept their gift, and meanwhile, Riddle looks at you awkwardly waiting for you to answer him. 

You turn Riddle on a smile yourself, “I am alright, Riddle...It's just that Ace and Deuce almost got me in trouble as both of them were fighting for the last meal during lunch and I tried to stop them to get any further but unfortunately, Crowley came I also got in trouble along with them…"

Riddle looks at you as he hugs you, "I'm gonna talk to them…" before you could answer back the tsum tsum Riddle jumps on your right shoulder and tickles you, causing Riddle almost fall back and tsum tsum Riddle tickles very hard that causing you to fall along with tsum tsum, and they jump over you.

Riddle helps you to get up and you get his hand, “Thank you, my king.” you smile at him and give him a kiss on the lips, “Don’t be jealous of them, Riddle. They’re like our little children if we ever have an actual baby.” Riddle quickly turns red, “No, I am not jealous, my rose. Is just a misunderstanding.” you smile and chuckles, “Sure, Sure, my king.” with that you hug Riddle.

Leona was kinda annoyed that his tsum tsum counterpart was getting Y/N's attention.

He wanted to grab that little creature and leave Y/N alone but he couldn't do that because he knew that Y/N would kinda dislike him.

But little did he know that Y/N would softly giggle at him out of jealousy for something so adorable.

Before he found Y/N, he entered his room and found his tsum tsum counterpart snuggling and receiving lots of hugs from you, and of course, he would be jealous and annoyed thinking 'Eh, this thing is getting on my nerves...' 

His tsum tsum counterpart gains a lot of cute reactions from his dorm students and they all like “I wish Leona was like this cute little creature” or “This version of Leona is better than we have.”

With that Leona makes a low growl from it.

You showed Leona a mini version of himself, that you said wanted him to pet a mini version of himself and took tons of cute pictures with him and his tsum tsum version.

That made your heart beat from cuteness. Also, you're aware of his grumpy attitude but you didn't mind because he's like a jealous version of himself. And to you, love him matters whatever he is.

"It's so cute that you get jealous of your mini version of yourself, Leona" as you squeeze the little creature and Leona stood next to you — as you cooed the tiny creature and Leona just sighs and sits next to you.

 The tsum tsum Leona jumps on top of your head and giggles at their adorableness.

"Leona, they're so cute." Leona looks at you while the tsum tsum is still jumping on top of your head.

Leona had still his arms crossed waiting for the day to pass by and suddenly you hug Leona while hugging the tsum tsum on your arms along with Leona as if the two of you were like a small family.

Epel is happy that he got himself a mini version of himself. He thought that it would be cool to show this to his grandma, and he would also totally show it to you too.

His tsum tsum counterpart starts to jump around the Pomefiore dorm. Epel tries his best to catch his mini version of himself but fails himself catching them. 

And of course, Vil gets mad because he doesn't like crazy peanuts around the dorm.

"Peanut has made a mess right...I don't like how the headmaster told me to keep this creature in Pomefiore.." Vil angrily looks at tsum tsum Epel as they jump around a cross the room and Epel runs after it.

Epel can already feel his legs all tired and his tsum tsum counterpart still jumps around the place.

Then Vil stood next to Epel, "Baby potato I want you to control the peanut to behave around here. I won't allow any misbehaving around here." with that he left.

As soon Epel continues his catch for his tsum tsum counterpart and it goes so fast that he runs out of breath.

When you open the door and before you are about to say "Hello" to Epel, his tsum tsum jumps into and tickles you. Knowing Epel sees his long-time crush being tickled by his tsum tsum counterpart made him kinda angry.

"Hahaha! it tickles" the tsum tsum Epel tickles you very hard and your laughter and tears were coming out from your eyes and Epel stood there looking. When Epel is about to grab his little counterpart, the tsum tsum avoids Epel and jumps atop his head.

You stop laughing and get up from the floor, you see a little cute creature on top of Epel's head, "Omg, that's so cute!!!" you grab tsum tsum Epel and squeeze them. All the fluffy and adorable that they have and tsum tsum Epel rubs your chest making the "boing" sound.

Epel groans seeing his crush forgetting about him but suddenly you grab Epel's hand and bring him closer to you to the nearest sofa in Pomefiore.

"My two cuties~<3" Epel blushes from this and he normally doesn't like being called "cute" but he would let you since you're his crush," Y/N…" 

You looked at Epel and gave him a signal as if you answered him, "I am not cute…I'm a manly man" Epel replied as he covered his face. You just gave Epel a cute hug since he's very cute when he's like that.

"Oh yeah, Um, this tsum hit Crowley when he called them "cute" but somehow they didn't hit you...I wonder…." you just giggle and look at him, "Probably Crowley deserves it" you and Epel just laugh and the tsum tsum Epel jumps on top of you.

Jack held his tsum tsum version with his strong arms because they grow more prominent so that's why Jack needed to carry them with his strong hands.

He doesn't like the idea that the headmaster wanted this dorm because Leona would not like this idea but unfortunately, he has a dilemma to deal with.

So he just took his tsum tsum version with all the force that he had used because they can change sizes; from big to small. Jack doesn’t like small creatures because he’s scared of accidentally stepping on them.

When Jack was about to enter his room, suddenly you appeared, “Hey jack!” you wave at him, but you notice that he has a huge creature on his arm.

Honestly, you admire him because he tries his best when there is an emergency happening in helping 1st-year students, and his fluffy ears and tail move like a happy adorable puppy that you find so adorable.

You don’t know that Jack has a huge crush on you and he’ll always help you no matter, well he likes you!

You ask what he has on his arms and he answers you, “Are you a creature that I found and I would put this in my room. Meanwhile, I work to find a solution to this.”

You and he enter his room, once you enter his room, the tsum tsum Jack suddenly grips out from Jack’s arms and jumps around the room.

"Aww look at that, Jack. They're jumping, making boing-boing noises like those cartoon shows as they jump." you held your hands with his.

And you went there to snuggle the tsum tsum Jack and they looked at you. Jack felt something in his heart….it felt like jealousy raising up to his heart.

He sighs and sits down as he watches you playing with his tsum tsum version.

"Jack…" you called him as you were on the floor and he responded with a hum. "I got tired of playing with this tiny guy…" Jack looks at you then gets up picks you up as a bridal style put you on his bed and sits next to you.

"You know..., I love you right…" Jack confesses to you unaware of his sudden confession, " I am sorry I didn't have time to tell you yesterday but I finally manage to tell you…"

Cater found his tsum tsum when he saw something in the sky, he was like “wow”

When Cater is walking with his tsum tsum version of himself, he sees you walking towards him with a smile on your face. He wondered why you were smiling at him and holding something in your hand.

Once you get near to him, he has a big smile and then runs towards and hugs you.

You hug him back when the tsum tsum Cater jumps on your head, unaware of the gift that is your hand it dropped on the floor.

You have never seen this tiny creature in your life and this is the first time you're seeing it right now.

You ask to Cater where or what’s this tiny creature that looks like your boyfriend and he replies, “The sky was sparkling around the air and this little dude came to me!” As much as you're a big fan of the cuteness, you grab tsum tsum Cater and squeeze and give hugs.

“They’re so cute!! I wish I could have it as my own, but this is so cute…” you look at tsum tsum Cater from their eyes and you smile at them. And yes you have forgotten the gift from the floor and Cater next to you.

This caused Cater to get too annoyed as you were giving too much attention and affection to his tsum tsum counterpart.

“I can’t help it..they’re so cute I just wanna squeeze and pinch them!!” you held tsum tsum Cater in your hands and quickly took a picture from your phone then put it away. “Y/N! Please, I want to cuddle too! Can you kiss pretty please!” Cater holds his phone tightly as if his world is ending.

Once you cooed tsum tsum Cater — your boyfriend looks at you with puppy eyes and yes, he will keep doing that until you give his attention as well. So then you put tsum tsum Cater on your right shoulder and pick up Cater's gift from the floor and give it to him. 

“Y/N-chan! Is this for me…?” Cater grabbed his gift from your hand, then you indeed said to him, “Yes, I have forgotten about this…haha...I can’t help but this tiny creature is just so cute!!!” you grab tsum tsum snuggle the tiny creature and Cater is annoyed by this already.

Unaware of this, you grab Cater by the shoulder and kiss him, “My, Never knew you are jealous of your little creature version.” you tease him, and Cater blushes by this. Yes, love your BF so much.

Floyd found his tsum tsum version of himself when he was with Cater because each of them look like their human version of themself.

So he thought to himself that could be cool to show this to his twin brother, Azul, and you.

Once he enters the main Lounge of Octavinelle and the first person he greets is Azul.

Azul tells him what he has and Floyd is like, “ Well when I was with Sea Bream. I and he were talking about something important and then, these creatures pop out of nowhere and into the sky. They were bright lights appearing in the sky and these little guys appeared from there, but I think they went to the corresponding  person, so this little guy who looks like went to me.”Floyd explained to Azul.

Then tsum tsum Floyd suddenly attacks Azul in the arm and causes pain and he is angry with Floyd, “What the hell, why did they attack me so suddenly!”

Floyd made his unusual smile, “Ah, yes, I forgot to tell you that they are very violent so be careful with them.” Azul with his still angry face on his face, “you didn’t tell me about this.”

Unaware of both of them, you and Jade are not very far from them, you giggle at this cute creature of Floyd.

‘They look squeezable!’ you thought about and then you went where you Floyd and grabbed his tsum tsum version of himself.

"Ah, Shrimpy! You're here~!" Floyd exclaimed and hugged you.

You held tsum tsum in your hand you could only barely breathe from Floyd's death hug.

He takes his tsum tsum away from your hand and swings you all the away as you barely breathe, but last only a few when he been stopped by his twin brother.

"Shrimpy, you have not been paying attention to me the whole time." He makes a face that would make you feel bad but you laugh at his behavior, "Floyd, I barely came here, and I wanted to see the little creature that you have is so cute!!!" you had sparkles on your eyes and before Azul was gonna warn you about the accident that happened to him.

You already grab tsum tsum Floyd and they give a hug not too hard, Floyd was already feeling jealous of these creatures. He wanted to crush it very hard, and he looked for "wanna die" or "wanna be a squeeze of my death hug" but he did manage to control himself.

You looked at Floyd and chuckled, " Floyd don't be jealous, and you know you'll be the one who does everything without thinking." you cheer Floyd up and ruffle his hair causing him to give you a hug again. 

Yup this never gets old.

You and Sebek walk hand in hand at night, and you talk with him about his duties as Malleus’s loyal knight and he says always "Waka-sama always need to protect all the time because Lord Malleus is the prince of Valley of thorns"

You don't mind being listened to by that because you love and see that bright smile that he has.

Every time he tries his best to be a good knight and protector for his lord, you find him very cute.

Yes, he can become very grumpy but that's just his nature.

Sebek sees a tiny creature jumping toward you and Sebek is slightly surprised by this.

"Hmm? What's this creature" Sebek as he points and you just look where he points and see tsum tsum Sebek jumping as they are trying to tell you to get them and that's what you did.

You pick up tsum tsum Sebek and they jump on the right shoulder. 

You find it so cute that they have the same expression that Sebek does!

“Y/N, what is that? Why do they look like me!?” Sebek points to a tsum tsum version of himself and you look at Sebek with a smile on your face.

 “Sebeky, they're a mini version of you, so cute and adorable just like you! <33” upon hearing Sebek grump and crossed his arms and turned his head away, and murmured, “They are not cute like me, nothing can’t compare to me..!” 

You pet tsum tsum Sebek and they respond by jumping on your right shoulder and Sebek is like "I better not see that creature hurt Malleus or you…"

“Alright, next ride!” Epel grinned wide as his eyes scanned the carnival. “Where ‘r we goin’?”

“The Scrambler sounds fun,” Deuce said. He looked down at the small carnival map in his hands, little dots marking everything of interest. “That’s over to the right. There’s also that water ride over there,” he said as he pointed to the ride in question. 

“That kiddy shit?” Epel scoffed as he smirked. “C’mon, Deuce, ya gotta have somethin’ better than that.” 

“Well, when you guys are done bickering,” Ace glanced over his shoulder at you all as he walked away, “you can meet me at that coaster over there.” 

The roller coaster in question was called Sunside Sweep. It looked fun, but you weren’t sure if you were ready for something so thrilling. You and your little group -Ace, Deuce, Jack, and Epel - had just eaten all that junk from the food trucks, and you knew it would come right back up if you went through even one loop. Ace would realize that soon. You knew you couldn’t stop him if you tried, so you just waved at him as he left. You scooted closer to Deuce to look at the map. “How about the little river boat ride?” you asked. 

“Again, that shit’s for babies.” Epel rolled his neck, a small pop sounding from it as he groaned. “Ah want somethin’ that’ll be fun.” 

“How about The Blender?” Jack piped up for the first time since lunch. “That looks fun - not too bad on the stomach, either.” 

At least one other person was thinking of your digestive systems. You looked over towards the ride in question; you watched as it swung back and forth, the bottom half of its body turning as it went. Not too thrilling, yet not too boring. It was-

“Good enough, ah guess.” Epel shrugged as he started heading towards the ride. “But ah’m with Ace - ah want to get on a coaster after this.” 

“Alright,” Deuce said as he folded the map and tucked it back in his jean pocket. “The Blender it is.” 

You smiled and nodded as you walked after Deuce, Jack close to your side as you went. The aftertaste of cream soda and funnel cake still lingered on your tongue - so good! You hoped to get a little more sweets before you had to leave.

“You alright there, [Y/n]?” Epel asked as he eyed you curiously. 

You sat on a bench in front of the entrance to The Blender, hunched over with your hand over your mouth. “Y-Yeah, I’ll be fine.” 

Your reassurance was ill received. Jack kneeled down in front of you, ears flattened against his head. “Take it easy, alright? Maybe we should stay off of the rides for a while.” 

“But the carnival closes in two hours!” you protested. “By the time it opens again, we’ll have to go back to the college. I don’t want to-” You mumbled a groan as your stomach grumbled uncomfortably. You managed to finish your sentence in a garbled whisper, “I don’t want to ruin this.” 

“You won’t ruin anything,” Deuce reassured you with a smile. He sat next to you and placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “We’ve been out here since this morning - we’ve had so much fun. We can go back to the hotel if you want.” 

“No, no,” you shook your head, “I’ll just…stay here for a bit.” You forced a smile as you looked from Deuce to Jack. “I’m sure my stomach will settle after a few minutes. I’ll catch up with you guys once I’m better.” 

“Alone?” Jack furrowed his eyebrows at the thought. “I don’t like the sound of that. What if you get worse and need someone?” 

“I have my phone, remember?” You held up the phone Crowley had given you months earlier. It wasn’t the most reliable device, but it’d get you through in a pinch. “I can call someone to come get me - and you guys can text me whenever you want!” 

“[Y/n],” Deuce started, voice filled with concern, “we can’t just-”

“Ah’ll stay with them.” The three of you looked up at Epel, who now stood in front of you. His hands were shoved in his jacket pockets; that letterman looked really nice on him, you thought. “Y’all go on ahead.” 

Your expression fell and you began to shake your head. “Epel, no, I’ll be-” 

“That weren’t a suggestion.” He flopped down in the seat opposite you. He directed his next words to the other two present. “Y’all go find Ace, see if he still wants to ride that coaster. I’ll meet up with y’all when [Y/n]’s better.” 

The two boys stared at Epel for a moment, as if trying to get a read on him. To your surprise, they made no argument - they simply nodded and smiled. Deuce glanced over at you, “We’re only a text or phone call away. If you ever need us, don’t be afraid to.” 

“Yeah,” Jack affirmed. Though his smile remained, he looked you dead in the eye with his next words. “And don’t try and push yourself too hard. If you’re faking being better, I’ll know. I-”

“Yeah, yeah, you can smell it.” Epel waved Jack off and gave him a lopsided smirk. “Go on, get! Tell me if Ace vomits his guts up.” 

With another nod and a chuckle from Deuce, the two turned and made their way to the Sunside Sweep. Though you smiled at them as they left, the moment they took their attention off you both, you frowned and looked over at Epel. “You really don’t have to stay here with me. I know you looked forward to this more than anyone.” 

“Eh,” Epel shrugged his shoulders, “it’s just a carnival. Not like ah’ll never get to go to one again.” 

That didn’t make you feel any better. You didn’t notice your frown morph into a pout as the guilt overwhelmed you. Your eyes grew big with sadness at the thought of Epel missing out on yet another thing he wanted to do. And you’d all finally managed to sneak him away from Vil’s eye! It wasn’t fair…

Epel glanced over at you - his expression fell as he took in your sad look. “H-Hey, what’s with the pout? Ya looked like a kicked puppy.” He smiled to try and cheer you up. “It really don’t bother me.” He poked at your cheek, “C’mon, buck up!” 

You wanted to believe him, you really did…but your mind kept wandering to how excited he’d been the day before. He was the one to suggest the fair to you all; Epel had been the one up really early, anxious to go. You glared down at your stomach in a mix of shame and frustration. You knew you shouldn’t have eaten all that food…

Epel observed your current state and sighed. “Ahlright, if ya really wanna make it up to me,” he stood up from the bench, “let’s go on the ferris wheel.” 

You raised your head as you eyed Epel, confused by the suggestion. “You said it was a baby ride.” 

Epel clicked his tongue and scratched the back of his neck. “Well, it’s not that bad. ‘Ts not the worst ride in the world.” He glanced down at you with a lopsided smile. “That and, ah mean, if that upsets yur stomach, yur real bad off.” 

You supposed he had a point. You glanced over at the ferris wheel, watching as it turned at a slow, languid pace. It looked rather peaceful…you gave a small nod as you slowly stood. “Y-Yeah, I guess it’ll be fine.” 

Epel smiled, relieved that you agreed. He tugged at your wrist and gently pulled you along with him towards the ride. Thankfully, there wasn’t a line when you arrived. Epel reached into his pocket and dug out two tickets and handed them to the ride operator. They tucked the tickets away in a pouch on their belt before they led you up the stairs to where the carriages docked. There was a railing either side of the stairs for you to grab…yet Epel held your hand the whole way up. He glanced at you as the next empty carriage came to a stop; he glanced back when the operator opened the door and directed both of you inside. 

Once safety tucked inside, sat on benches opposite each other, the operator closed the door. Seconds later, you began to move. You lightly gripped your bench as the carriage swayed as it traveled upward, pulled up by the wheel. You bit your lip to hold back a grunt as your stomach turned at the slightest movement. Epel seemed to notice your discomfort - within seconds he was beside you, hand rested on your knee as he examined you. 

“You aren’t gonna throw up on me, are ya?” he asked, looking a little nervous at the thought. 

“N-No, I think I’m fine.” This time, your smile was not forced as you looked Epel in his pretty blue eyes. “Thank you…for making sure I’m okay, I mean.” 

“Well, ah mean, what didja want me to do?” he asked, voice laced with a small chuckle. “Leave ya there to die? I ain’t like Ace - I’m not an asshole.” 

You let out a small giggle. “It’s still a little weird to hear you cuss out loud like that.” 

“Ah know, right?” Epel leaned back and crossed his arms behind his head, his right leg crossed over his left knee. “Keep waitin’ for Vil to pop out from behind somethin’ and squawk at me for it.” 

“Is he treating you better?” you asked. “Since his overblot, I mean.” 

“Yeah,” Epel replied with a nod. “Still scolds me fer somethin’ just ‘bout every day, but ‘s not as bad.” He glanced at you as his teeth peeked through his smile. “He’ll even compliment me every now ‘n again.” 

“That’s good.” You straightened your posture; you suddenly felt a lot better. “I’m happy he’s allowing you to be more free - more like yourself. I like it.” 

“Oh yeah?” Epel now smirked as he uncrossed his legs and arms, sitting up before he inched closer to you. “What’chu like ‘bout me?” 

“W-Well…” Now you suddenly felt nervous. His gaze was more intense than before, like he was trying to look into your very soul. Paired with that smirk on his face, he looked…attractive. Well, he always did, but…it was different. You scrambled to think of something. 

“I…I like how laidback you are. You’re a lot more confident, too. It…suits you.” 

“Mm, yeah?~” He inched closer with every passing second, so much so you had to scoot back along the bench to allow him room. “Ya like how manly ah can be? When ah’m out of all that frilly stuff?” 

“What you wear doesn’t matter.” Something shifted in Epel’s gaze, but you couldn’t tell exactly what it was. “I guess it’s because you can be more…free? You don’t have to remind yourself of manners and other things; you can be yourself. I like that you can just be…well, you.” 

Epel took in your words for a moment, as though to let them soak into the deepest parts of his brain. In those seconds, his expression had fallen into something akin to surprise - shock, even. Then, slowly, that expression came back, but this time the smirk was wider than it had been before. His eyes narrowed as he got even closer, so close your back now pressed against the wall of the carriage. The curve of the carriage’s body made your back contort to its figure. To do that, you had to sink down a little in your seat - to where Epel now towered over you. 

“You know how cute ya look when yur all genuine ‘n shit?” Epel lowered his face down towards yours. “Real cute, sweetheart~” 

Your heart pounded in your chest, a flush of red rising to your cheeks. You’d never seen Epel like this, so forward, so…hot. Hot was the word, yet you never dared let yourself think it. Epel was your friend, one of the guys! You wouldn’t let yourself think of him as something more, but now…now it was all you could think of. 

“Tell me somethin’, sweet thang.” His lips were now beside your ear. Even at this angle, you could still glimpse that handsome grin. “Why do ya think I wanted to stay with ‘cha?” 

“T-To make sure I was okay?” 

“Ye, that,” his hair tickled your cheek as he got really close to your ear, “and because ah don’t want the other guys tryin’ to take what I want.” 

Your heart nearly lurched out of your chest as the carriage suddenly came to a stop. In that quick commotion, you almost didn’t notice the lips that brushed against your cheek. But you did - you were sure your cheeks were as red as Ace’s hair. Epel suddenly scooted away from you, then pulled you back up to a sitting position. As soon as you sat up, the carriage door opened. In stepped Ace, who was led into the car by Deuce. He looked pretty bad, face a near green color as he glanced in your direction. 

Deuce clumsily sat him on the bench opposite you and Epel, Jack stepping in behind him as the door slammed closed. You glanced out the small window on the door to see the ferris wheel’s operator, who looked a little too happy to leave you all in there with Ace. When you turned your gaze back on the redhead, you could see why: he looked ready to pass out, or barf, whichever came first. 

“Da hell happened to you?” Epel asked. 

“This is what five rides on two different coasters, with four sodas in-between, will get you,” Jack replied as he sat beside Deuce. He glared at Ace, who sat next to the large window of the carriage. “I told him not to do it, but he wouldn’t listen.” 

Ace grumbled something unintelligible in response, though didn’t even bother to look at Jack to deliver it. He simply stared out the window, gaze a thousand yards away from where they were. Deuce simply shook his head, a sorry smile on his face as he patted Ace’s shoulder. “It’ll wear off eventually, man, don’t worry.” Deuce mumbled something under his breath as he took his hand off Ace. “Hopefully before Riddle finds out what you did.” 

You nearly jumped out of your seat at Epel’s laugh bellowed out next to you. “What did ah tell ya?” He lifted his index finger into the air, “One braincell.” 

“C’mon, Epel, give the guy a break,” Deuce said, though a snicker lay hidden beneath his words. 

“Oh, like he gave me a break when ah dropped my lunch all over myself that time when ah-”

You didn’t hear that next part - you were distracted by the arm Epel draped over your shoulders. Though you smiled as the three continued to talk, and as Ace continued to glare and grumble (he even managed to flip the bird once), you were constantly aware of how secure Epel held you. He nary took his arm off you the rest of that afternoon at the fair. And whenever you’d peek over at him, he’d catch you - then smirk and wink.

Definitely teases you a lot: you're just so adorable and your reactions just amuses him so much. It prompts the eel to tease you more til' you're beet red. Like that one time he hugged you from behind before biting your cheek because he said you're too cute. You walked around the school with a bitemark on your cheek, he was happy about it.

Floyd is your biggest hypeman, he thinks it'll help with your timid nature. If he ever sees you try something new or step out of your comfort zone, he'll flaunt you off to everyone. Yes, he'll be loud about it and proud.

He'll be your voice if you ever have trouble with maintaining or speaking up. You would be talking then someone talks over, he'd notice and he'll be like, "Oi, shrimpy ain't done talking yet. Shut it." He'll say before staring them down and flashing his sharp teeth.

Another one who would tease you except he's much more tame than Floyd. He'd poke your side to get your attention or wrap his arm around your waist while walking. He likes to be subtle about it.

Ruggie would encourage you to go out of your comfort zone, every once in a while if you allow it. You guys would be at the cafeteria and he'd tell you to order for the both of you. You'd glance at him to check if you're doing it right and he would give you two thumbs up while smiling. "You're doing great, darl'."

He likes it when you ask for his help when you start feeling bashful, it makes me feel 'manly'. Too shy to ask for help in the store because Sam will advertise something to you and you might give in and buy it? Let him do it for you.

Epel's accent slips when he defends you from someone bothersome. It doesn't matter whether Vil in the vicinity either, he won't let it slide at all. His accent thickens when he finds out they're doing it on purpose. His insults growing cruder and somewhat hard to understand. ("Shut 'yer mouth and go back to 'yer badger's hole!")

Your timid nature is somewhat endearing to him. How you fiddle with your fingers or avert your eyes to something else while you have a conversation because you can't handle eye contact; he smirks smugly at you. "Wanna run that again, sweets? I forgot."

Ace

Before the game, he probably kept telling you "oh it doesn't matter if you don't go, I'll be sad but you'll ultimately be the one missing out" but he was honestly really, really hoping you would go and see him. Besides, who doesn't love a guy playing basketball?

If there was a Twst version of High School Musical this might be it haha. The way you basically cheered him on the loudest when it seemed like he had lost focus at a pivotal moment of the game and everything low-key seemed like it was from a music video

He would be super pumped you got to see him, hell seeing you made him kinda flustered. Like, he feels extra-ready to play? You'll often see him giving you a smile or a wink while he runs across the court and he catches your eye.

After the game, he will pretend like he didn't have any struggles, sort of like "yeah yeah I'm just that good." He has a bit of an ego haha, but either way he will make sure you know he was super happy you got to see him during the match. Sure he might be a little sweaty and a bit out of breath, but he'll still hug you and might lift you up a little bit

Overall, his ego will have a boost and he will be super happy. Will he talk about how cool he was in the game to everyone? Yes. Will he talk about the game with you for the next few days? Yes.

Deuce

He does Track and Field! Which honestly covers a lot of different activities, but he likes doing it with others. Because of this, you might catch him in the relay race events. He happened to be participating in the game that was coming up and (in a slightly stammered way) asked if you wanted to go watch him. Of course, you agreed and he was super grateful

To say he was a little nervous would be an understatement. He was already a little antsy with the competition but he was like "omg they're going to watch me I can't fail" and people might notice he's more jittery than usual because of this

The track is super big, so he doesn't know if he'll see you. However, you bet he would glance towards the audience before his event. If he manages to catch you in the audience, expect him to give you a small smile, maybe a little wave too. He'll remind himself that you're there to see him when it's finally time for him to run too

I think after the event he'll be super tired so he might not be as energetic when you get to meet up with him. However, he'll be blushing, slightly out of breath as he drinks from his water bottle, and will give you a soft hug. "T-thanks for coming today," he might say. If he won, he'll be super elated but if he didn't then just let him know you're still proud of him ;-;

Overall he's grateful you got to be there and cheer him. He wants to just relax with you afterwards, which means you two might be having a cozy movie night together at Ramshackle

Jack

He too is a track and field guy! I imagine he would also be a runner, and while he wants you to see him he's also nervous you might not really enjoy the event or you might be busy. He'll bring it up quietly, just like a "it would be nice, I have a track event coming up." Just know he'll be super grateful if you do agree to go

He's super serious during the event, you might think he forgot you were there because he doesn't at all look at the audience when it's his turn on the track. But his hearing's good, if you happen to be cheering for him really loudly he'll hear. He might not react, but he'll have a small smile on his face

I feel like this might be one of the first times you see him racing, and omg he's so fast. Like, you knew he would be but like this? He might've been faster this round because he doesn't want to lose but also because he wants to, well, impress you a bit haha. Sure he's a humble guy, but sometimes he likes to boast ;)

After the event he definitely hugs you and lifts you up in his arms. He might be a little worn out from the event but he tells you "nope I'm feeling the best I can because I get to see you." Honestly just your presence is enough for him, whether or not he won in the event.

I think after the event you two might take a slower hang out, maybe you guys cook together or watch a movie. Either way, he'll just spend some time with you relaxing and if you happen to pamper him during this time he'll be flustered with all of the affection

Epel

Epel's in Spelldrive! One of the biggest sports in the school, and one that you've had first-hand account in haha. You've probably watched Epel practice from time to time, but when one of the big school games come up, he'll ask if you'll go. He'll be a little shy about it, but once you tell him you're going he'll be super energetic (expect a very strong high five haha)

During the game, he might go close to the audience just to say hi to you haha. He was one of the strongest players for Pomefiore, and many of his classmates were cheering him on with you. Who knows, maybe you led a whole cheer with them haha

I think he would be super serious when playing but from time to time he'll look around to see you. He might've waved at you once as well! He'll do some extra tricks on his broom if he can just to impress you a little more

Whether or not Pomefiore did well, let him know you thought he did his best and that it was a lot of fun. He probably just liked being able to play and he'll let you know he's super grateful you got to watch him. Taking a bottle of water, he might tell you "thanks for coming today, I'm starving though so did you want to grab dinner together?"

Overall, he was super pumped to see you and definitely played a little harder than usual with you in the audience. You two will likely have a really good dinner together and if you want to, you guys might go on a magical wheel ride as well.
