theres actually no rules to transitioning and youre allowed to want contradictory things for your transition. it's fine if you only want some of the changes that come with hrt and take preventative measures for the rest (like wanting bottom growth but not body hair or vice versa). you can want to have vagina AND a dick. you can be a woman and want top surgery, or wear a packer. you can be a man and want to have a pussy. you can change your transition goals one or a million times or not have any goals at all and just take things as they come or as they feel right.
there are no rules.

Hey, for everyone saying xenogenders are chronically online: Today in psych class we talked about gender dysphoria and I got to illustrate my view of gender graphically. It looked like a venn diagram with four heavily overlapping circles - one of them was xenogender.
My class was ENTIRELY receptive to it. This receptiveness included a straight, cis, white, christian male who had never heard of it before. And he was totally cool with it! We even took two minutes going on about what our gender would be if we described it in xenic terms. My teacher said he'd be the point of a mountain that intersects with clouds in the sky. Another said a ball of lint. I said the ocean. Not one of us said it was "impossible" or "cringe" or any of that xenogender-phobic shit.
If you're xenogender you're valid. The world, the real, offline world thinks so too. What's "chronically online" and "cringe" is being full of hate.

Don’t know why tf people have to be told this in 2024 but
Do not fucking call yourself a trans ally if you demonize or exclude certain alignments.
This means masculine-aligned
This means feminine-aligned
This means people who fit into neither
This means multigender
This means people who’s gender you may not fully understand
This means gender not based on traditional concepts
I can’t believe people still have to be fucking told this, but DO NOT call yourself a trans ally if you saying “I support all trans people… except these ones.” And I don’t care if you’re a trans person who pulls this shit. That’s disappointing.

Shout-out to all my heteros that are carbon copies of another hetero.
Shout-out to all my cats.
(edit) So, this ended up way more popular than I anticipated. So, here's a few more, and they're all equally bad, as you'd expect.
Shout-out to all my xenos that're native to their countries.
Shout-out to all my cis comrades that are a part of the opposition.
Shout-out to all the external Indigiqueers (this only makes sense if you know the etymology for indigenous that's my bad)
And of course,

We need better queer representation in shows movies and books
We need queer POC
We need people who don't want to label their gender or sexuality
We need trans people who's transition goals aren't to look cis
We need queer people with diverse religions
We need queer people who use pronouns that don't "match" their gender
We need aromantic and asexual characters
We need disabled queer people
We need queer people who use multiple labels for themselves
We need queer people who's entire personality isn't being queer
We need queer people who aren't just there because of romance
We need real and diverse queer people in the media

given how alienating and dehumanizing the trans experience can be, is there really any question as to why so many of us identify as nonhuman? come on, now

Thank you xenogender people. Thank you neopronoun people. Thank you nounself pronoun people. Thank you it/its pronoun people. Thank you people who want boobs and a dick, or a dick and a pussy, and elf pointed ears and a thousand piercings. Thank you stargender puppyself deep/sea pronoun flag collecting gender hoarding carrd people. Thank you for showing us all the things gender can be, and all the places gender can go, and all the ways we can understand gender as human and more than human. Thank you for opening up all these places to play in and ideas to toy with, all these things about ourselves we can put on and try and take off and discard. Thank you for being brave, thank you for exploring, thank you for paving all these ways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🖤

here’s your daily reminder that cringe culture is dead.
read/write fanfic, identify as xenogender, use neopronouns, have a complex gender identity, get completely obsessed with things, stim noticeably, kin characters, watch kid’s shows, draw fan art, wear funky earrings, and enjoy what you do.
(is this post mostly just for reassuring myself? yes, yes it is)

genuinely every single expression of nonhumanity is so beautiful
i love therians and otherkin spiritual psychological or otherwise
i love otherhearteds and copinglinks
i love physical nonhumans of all kinds including zooanthropes endels and holotheres
i love alterhumans
i love real-life and fictional theriotypes
i love animal-related xenogenders and neopronouns
i love connecting to nonhumanity or being nonhuman due to neurodivergence
i love nonhumans due to delusions or trauma
i love furries and i love people who feel like their true selves wearing a fursuit
i love pups and horseplayers and queer people whose sexuality is connected to their nonhumanity
i love people who are fully 100% nonhuman and i love people whose nonhumanity is wearing cat ears and a tail
i love puppygirls and catboys and werewolves
i love people who connect nonhumanity with them being outside traditional gender norms
i love how making a human-lion was one of the first product of artistry ever made by humans (and the oldest statue that we discovered)
(this is mostly animal-focused but i love people connected to flora and still life and machines too and everything related to that)
we see ourselves in everything around us as if it were our reflection

Someone in our discord found this helpful, so we're posting it here with a bit of added wording.
You can be incorrect about your experiences but that doesn't make you fake, it just means you misunderstood either what you were feeling or what a term meant. And that's okay as long as you don't lie once you know you're not a [insert identity here]. You're never morally wrong for being incorrect. Faking is a conscious choice, being wrong about your experiences is not.
You're not faking if you don't sit down and think "how can I make this seem legit" or "I want to pretend to be this today". It can feel bad and confusing and all brands of horrible when you realise you were wrong about a label you placed upon yourself, but it's more beneficial to you and everyone else to admit that you were wrong, you're able and allowed to make mistakes just as anyone else is, and now you can learn from them and know yourself better.
No one knows what they are from the moment they're born, give yourself some space and time to relax and not get caught up in worrying if your experiences actually fit into a nice little box or not. In the end, they don't even have to fit into anything.
