Married Batjokes but still doing their thing (Bruce still Batman-ing and Joker still causing crimes but not as lethal) Head canon.

I had this in my head and I find it adorable so I have to share this.

Wedding rings.

But not normal rings, CUSTOM rings that is specifically themed to symbolize the other partner

Like Joker's ring having a Bat on it and Bruce/Batman's having a----Playing Card or something along those lines.

Bruce wears two separate rings. A normal wedding ring in public when in Bruce Wayne persona, and only wears the real custom ring in private

Joker on the other hand----never takes his off, that ring fused to his finger, hardly takes it off, this man will SHOWER with the Bat ring on. He'll only take that thing off when he's dead! Except actually, heck no he won't! You better bury that man with the ring untouched and still on his finger.

Hey there's a lot of Batman related media

Where the hell do I start with watching it??

Nobody asked but y'all get it anyway because I finished Lego DC Super Villains 100% (I didn't have to add the 100% I'm just proud of myself and wanted to add it 😌) so DC is very much on the brain.

Specifically Batman because when is it not? (Y'all don't know but I have so much Batman things in my room so it is not out of the norm for me to be thinking Batsy stuff) I also got back to reading my Batman & Psychology book and the section on the Joker was a really fun read and I couldn't help but link it to my Batman Universe where there are two Jokers!

I also love Gotham (TV Show) if you didn't know so yes the two Jokers are Jeremiah and Jerome. In my Bman Universe not all that happened in Gotham happened but some did which is why the two Valeska Twins are the Jokers.

The Batman & Psychology book did a great job of summarizing each age of Joker and what made each version different and unique and it made me think of my Jokers and how I wanted people to see them. So without further ado!

Jerome:

" 2. Clown Prince of Crime (kooky crook) - later Golden Age and all the Silver Age (1956 until about 1970): For more than three decades, the Joker restricts himself to committing wacky crimes. Rather than murder people, he would instead resort "to pulling off astonishing crimes in ludicrous situations, often with preposterous gadgeys." Regardless of his actions, writers depicted him as legally sane..."

" 3. King of Arkham Asylum (insane killer) - Bronze Age (about 1970 to 1986): ...a killer deemed legally insane, now escaping from an asylum instead of prison. A Joker crazier than ever resumes killing while now facing a Batman darker than he has been since 1939."

Jeremiah:

" 1. Ace of Knave (sane killer) - early in the Golden Age of Comics: During his first two years in print (1940-1942), the Joker murders many victims. In 1942,"..."the Joker [was] executed for all his previous crimes. Quickly revibed by henchmen after his electrocution..."

" 4. Harlequin of Hate (personal killer) - Modern Age: ....the Joker begins maiming and killing some of the people closest to Batman and Commissioner Gordon...."

Jerome loves chaos but I definitely think if he were to live, he would have done stupid crimes just for the sake of annoying Batman and the GCPD. He was a guy who loved theatrics and a joke. If he's not killing someone just to kill them or for the "fun of it or laughs" he would definitely be someone who stole all the grape jelly from every store just because he could. Bonus points if it's because it's Jeremiah's favorite jelly or Bruce's.

Jeremiah is the more calculated of the two but because of the gas he becomes more of a showman as well. He spent so long hiding away from attention that now all he wants is attention. He also wants to prove he's the better twin. He kills with purpose. He kills because he thinks it is needed and will further his plans, and of course he kills those he thinks threatens his and Bruce's relationship.

Both go by the name Joker and though they fight and have a strong rivalry, it's never about the name. They both agreed because a deck always has two Jokers.

my favourite part of the Wayne Kids being, you know, the Waynes, and popular celebrities is the fact that these are teenagers and young adults who are given ... celebrity powers. and i know they're stupidly petty with them. every time you log onto twitter you'd see 3 of them engaged in a sibling argument, completely uncaring that it's being broadcasted to thousands of people
